Subway

This subway opens at 8am on Saturday but I don’t think anyone told the employees that. They were locked at 8:10. My stomach is not happy with subway this AM.

Seriously, the most friendly staff ever. Always down to earth, chatty (but not too chatty), and very fast! There is usually a line when I go in during the lunch hour, but I never mind waiting, because they are speedy and pleasant. Way to go Subway on Beaverton-​Hillsdale! You are one of a kind.

very friendly Staff for a Subway franchise! Surprisingly greeted with a hearty «Welcome to Subway!» Had Spicy Italian for $ 5!

So the great thing about a franchise model is that you get pretty much exactly the same thing regardless of what location you walk into. So a sub way sandwich is still a sub way sandwich. Nothing too special there.
However, what sets this location apart and earns them a 5 STAR is their absolutely amazing customer service.
Lets face it, making sandwiches all day probably sucks. So the ability to keep a positive attitude and have a smile (even after dealing with a line of idiots) is truly appreciated.
There are at least 5 Sub way stores within a close proximity to my residence and I will continue to go out of my way to visit THIS particular store because of their GREAT SERVICE.
You should really give these guys and gals a raise.
They deserve it!

This is our most favorite Subway location, they are the cleanest and have the nicest staff. We have become sort of regulars so most of the kids working recognize us when we walk thru the door. We usually go on Friday so we can take part in Free Cookie Friday, for every sammie that you purchase you get a free cookie of your choice. I either get the Philly or Tuna, my husband either gets the Subway Melt or Feast but no matter what you get it will always be fresh and tasty.

I don’t very often Unilocal-​review fast food places — only if there is something about them that sets them apart or would make a weary traveler want to stop in. So this Subway is one of those exceptions.
I had a scheduled «lunch & learn» event for my business at a client’s location less than a mile away. My wife Anne called the day before to order 2 sandwich platters for up to 12 people, with 2 vegetarians in the group. We picked this Subway based only on location, as it’s very close to where my training session was to be held.
When I arrived at 11:00 AM today to pick up the platters, I was greeted VERY nicely by the owners Mr. & Mrs. Bell — who were both behind the counter. The platters were fully made up, and Mrs. Bell explained the veggie sandwiches and how to discerne them from the rest.
I’ve just never had such a nice, personal, professional treatment at a FAST FOOD store I think ever… they thanked me several times, shook my hand, and treated me like I actually meant something to their business. I order in a lot of sandwiches for software trainings I do, but I can honestly say I’ve never had such personal and first class treatment at a Subway (and trust me, I’ve ordered my share of Subway sandwiches for meetings over the years).
This location is first class. And no, like all our other reviews, I have zero affiliation — but I fully plan to use this one Subway location for all future L&L events in this area, no question.

Okay, so this isn’t the place you come to when you want a great sandwich. I don’t care which location you go to. The sandwiches fill a need when money is tight or convenience means everything. That being said here are a few tips to help enhance your Subway dining experience.
Bring an imaginary friend and order two $ 5 footlongs. Carefully unwrap the second sandwich for your imaginary friend, then unwrap yours and enjoy. After a minute or two start shouting out loud to your imaginary friend that he or she should be grateful for the sandwich and that Jared would appreciate such a nice gesture. The staff may or may not offer you a free cookie to shut you up. Be prepared to never eat at that particular location again. Don’t worry. There are many other locations you will be able to go to. I do recommend not pulling this stunt at each one.
So there are better ways to enhance the experience. One of my personal favs is getting a meatball with pepperoni. I had been doing this one way before they decided to add it as a menu item. I also enjoy requesting a little marinara on my Spicy Italian or Italian B.M.T. (Biggest, Meatiest, Tastiest, if you’ve ever wondered but were too ashamed to ask). I suggest staying away from the chicken, the steak, and the seafood whatever. I have been burned each time and do not want to relive the experience.
Aside from the meats and cheeses, all the other items are included and you CAN ask for a little extra to be added. Don’t settle for five tiny olive slices on your foot long. Ask for more until you are satisfied.
