Spanky’s has been such a great pillar of the community and I am proud to be a part of it! As a mother of three boys, I know the importance of meeting my family’s needs during this hard economy. That’s why I think Spanky’s is so great! We are here to help you and your family look and feel your best without over-​spending. Very dishonest people. You have to have $ 20 or higher in your account in order for YOU to get YOUR money out of the consignment program. If you have $ 18 in your account, you can only use it for store credit. Yes, sure its in the small print in the contract I signed, but trust me folks, very very dishonest business. I can’t wait to tell EVERYONE I know about their bad business practices.

I love this store! Reasonable prices and extremely nice staff. I usually walk out with at least one piece of clothing. Since I do consignment I just use my trade.

I’ve had great luck consigning with Spanky’s over the last several years. I’ve always found great items that I can’t live without, even on the sale racks. The staff has always been helpful and polite. The store is well organized and clean. Fitting rooms are large and the ones that I have used had plenty of hooks. I usually check in here at least once every couple of months.

I had far better experience selling at consignment stores. It smells bad, the way they price things is just odd and they don’t follow-​up with consignors to let them know things have sold. You have to sell over a certain amount of dollars to get cash or they give you a store credit and that even expires. Feels like I am being robbed. I will never consign with Spanky’s again. Not a good value for the consignor.

The girls here seem to feel the need to speak their minds when it is not welcomed. My friend and I went in recently and she left humiliated by a comment one of the girls made about her ID. A completely avoidable issue had the girl had better work etiquette. It’s disappointing because I loved shopping the clearance selection but probably won’t make another trip in.

They have a good selection of gently used clothing (designer to off brand) and a wide range of sizes. Prices are just ok. I’ve found both some great deals and some not so great deals. The staff is always very friendly and the store is very clean and orderly!

Why have I not been in here before now? My good friend took me here after I was saying, «yea I have been meaning to go in there.» We went in the middle of the week (Thursday) and in the middle of the day. They weren’t super busy, but the 2 ladies working there were just so nice. Great customer service. This place is meant for ladies 25+ as well as having some children’s clothing. It does not cater to teenagers, but at 26 y/​o myself I found many things to choose from. Great selection, and very easy to browse, The layout is open, and the racks are not overcrowded like a lot of consignment places around town. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

I do like the quality of most items here. There is a separate rack of Anthropologie items and I have seen Joeie and splendid tops priced $ 12.99 in great condition when in the stores these items are upwards on $ 60 to $ 100 bucks retail. I have also seen a lot of or too much of old navy, target brands etc. Priced not much below said above designer clothes. I have consigned a few items here my self and I like their pricing of the designer goods and their 40% return.

Took a basket of «Chicos» brand clothes in a couple of days ago and was moderatly impressed with the items available.
Most of the jeans available were off brand things and the blouses seemed Goodwill quality at top prices.
For the consigner it doesn’t seem that good of a deal. After a month on the rack they discount by 50%. My Chicos jeans were 3 months old and cost $ 89.00. They are selling for $ 16.00! So they were marked quite low at their regular consignment price and 50% off will leave me with cents on the dollar. I put them in consignment because at my size a weight gain of 10 pounds changes the size.
Lastly, I spent 15 minutes online trying to find the phone number for this store. not in the phone book and Directory Assistance gave me the Vancouver number, which is the only one I found online so I had to call that store to get the correct number. Maybe they should correct their online info-​especially Facebook!
Frankly I can do better selling on eBay and won’t be taking any more back to them unless things sell at their top price.

I’ve been going to Spanky’s ever since I was little. The current staff and store are great, everything is neat and organized and the staff is exceptionally friendly. As for consigning here, you really get a fair deal and they are happy to explain why they did or did not take items.
I love shopping here for my baby boy, I always find brand names for fair prices.

I went in during the summer and I was not impressed. The racks were tightly packed and hard to look through, and I found a lot of stuff that wasn’t in good shape. The whole place smelled like they drench it in febreeze daily and the dressing rooms are just a bunch of curtains strung together. Trying on clothes was difficult due to the lack of hooks to hang clothes and poor lighting.
I see that many other people have had great experiences, even my Aunt said she got some great boots there and couldn’t say enough good things about it. Maybe I will give it a second chance, but first impressions tend to stick with me.

I love this place. They have a great selection of clothing ranging from size 0 – 26 or so. Super cute stuff. Almost feels like a higher end boutique. The staff are amazing! They even made a wish list for me today… took down my information and the brands and stuff I was looking for and they will email/​call me when something comes in. How was that??? Not even Macys or Nordstrom’s has this service. Great selection of kids clothing as well. Good hand bags, they carry Coach and brands. Would totally recommend.

Stopped in not sure what they had to offer and I loved it! Their prices are great, and they run an amazing sale on colored tags each month. The best part is the $ 0.50 rack! Staff was super nice, showed me around & explained sales to me since I was new.
I walked out of the store with an amazing new pair of jeans for $ 0.50! The changing rooms could use some hooks, but the place was clean, which is always important for used clothing stores! I would go here instead of Goodwill any day.

Got 5 adorable tops, 2 pairs of shorts and a dress for $ 40 total. ‘Nuff said.
But seriously, small but incredible consignment shop! The majority of the items I got were from brands such as J Crew, Ann Taylor Loft, American Eagle and would have easily gone for $ 40 apiece originally. The condition of everything I looked at was like new. So many adorable tops & bottoms (most all between $ 7-​$ 13) that I could hardly restrain myself from buying out the store. There were also sections for purses, accessories and shoes, but I didn’t take time to peruse those. The staff was all incredibly nice and helpful and accepted my Groupon and Unilocal deals no problem.
I may have lucked out that there was so much good stuff in my size on the particular day that I went, but all I know is I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to go back and even start consigning with them.
And apparently, their store in Vancouver is approximately 3x larger… Oh, god. Danger, Will Robinson. Danger.

This place has a great selection at reasonable prices. The staff are really nice (and patient with my 3 year old son who is very high energy).
What makes it even better is when I find groupon or Unilocal coupons for the place. The prices become phenomenal!
I wish there were more places like this around.
The Tigard location has way better prices than their Vancouver, WA location.

I visited the store with a Groupon I had purchased. I thought this experience would be good as I’d be able to look at quality clothes at a discounted price… yeah, not so much.
First, there were signs all over the store saying 50% off purple tags and 25% green tags. I picked up and purchased a purple tag and a green tag item — thinking I’d get a discount worthy of the price they were asking. After checking out, I started thinking about what I paid and that it seemed high — so I reviewed my receipt — no discount. I called the store and was told that the discount is ONLY if the tag is explicitly marked with a new price. meaning the tag color really has ZERO relevance to whether or not an item is discounted. Needless to say, I was disappointed — while I’m sure the posted signs may say more specific information regarding the discount in fine print — the words that stand out make no mention of that.
I didn’t find their prices to be competitive and I felt like I spent quite a bit there for only 3 items. I’m not sure I’d go back — maybe to look at jeans or boots — they have a great selection of both and those actually seem to be ‘discounted’.

Had a great experience at the Beaverton location today. The staff and other shoppers were very understanding of my «super charged» 3 yr old. Thank you for the help and great customer service which I never expected from a consignment store. I am very glad to see that you carry items for men, women, and children/​infants, this variety covers an entire family. I will not only recommend your store but will be a repeat shopper.
