The worst experience ever
I had an appointment in my office in Beaverton and we decided to order lunch for the client from pita pit as they deliver. We placed the order online and waited for the delivery time which was one hour ahead so its 1 pm and it should be here i call the store they say we are running a little late and i was like ok I understand byt then at 1:30pm i called back to check they say its not even made yet and it will be some time before we can deliver and i was like oh god what do i tell my client that they cannot do it because they are short staffed they should not have taken the order the only thing the person on the phone kept saying is what do u want né to do!!! Seriously? You embarrassed me in front of my clients and say what do u want me to do! Here what i will do never order from a Mickey mouse company like yours!!! Not looking for any freebies but wanna warn people about this place!

Got off the phone with my wife at 7:21pm. It’s now 7:43. Walked in, there are two people in line in front of me, one waiting, one checking out. There is one person working behind the counter (Devon) because the other employee is out on delivery. The phone rang no less than 5 times for which he stopped to answer each call. It’s a shame it takes 22 minutes to get 2 pitas with one person in line in front of you. Management may want to consider staffing up during dinner hours. There may be a reason why there wasn’t a single eat-​in diner in the restaurant…

I went for the first time. The food tasted surprisingly well. But the rest of the store shows neglect on all levels. Management and employee’s obviously don’t care. Everything was sticky and dirty (tables, flat top, refrigerator’s, counter’s etc.). The place was empty and it took the employee a couple of minutes to even show up at the counter. Just to mention it was lunch time. Overall if nothing changes I am sure the health department will take action.

The place I don’t think had ever been cleaned! There veggies were turning brown and looked like they were weeks old. All the tables had food on them and there were ants on the drink counter. I was really nervous to eat my pita.
I was severely disappointed with my food too. The pit was dry and fell apart, so I had to eat it like a taco, getting ply bites of lettuce and pita it put and fillings.
I don’t come here very often and every time I do, I remember why, it’s disappointing.

Very good for a quick lunch. It’s one of my regular lunch spots. I appreciate that I can load up my pita with lots of veggies for a healthy fast food alternative. It can get a little messy though since the pita has a tendency to split since they stuff the ingredients inside the pita and then roll it up.

Had a good falafel pita here. Not the best I’ve ever had, but yummy nonetheless. The reason I’m giving them five stars is because I left my handbag here. As soon as I realized, I called them and asked them to put it behind the counter. They did, I went and got it, and nothing was taken. They had the perfect opportunity to steal from me, and they didn’t. That wins my loyalty. I’ll be back for more pitas.

This was my first trip to a Pita Pit location. I have had it before at work and enjoyed it. As a vegetarian I was excited about the veggie options. The falafel is excellent, however, there were a couple issues. The vegetarian falafel is cooked on the same grill at the same time as meat, and in close proximity. Also, I noticed that the worker who put the toppings on my pita and wrapped it up had just been touching the meat pita that the customer in front of me ordered. I’m not talking just wrapping it up, but actually touching the meat, then my food. These are big no-no’s for vegetarians. I should have just walked out then, but I ordered the food and felt obligated to pay. I will not be returning to Pita Pit until they fix these cross-​contamination issues, which is sad because the food is pretty good. Please step it up Pita Pit, especially since you advertise vegetarian/​vegan options.

Horrid service if I could give zero stars I would. I ordered online and my email said 45 minute delivery, ok that’s normal so I wait and wait and wait over an hour and a half later my food finally shows up. Ice cold and with a disgusting melted smoothie.. . Thanks pita pit for delivering a SICK girl who hasn’t been able to eat in two days cold food and an UNSAFE/​SPOILED smoothie. I appreciate it :(just wasted $ 20 on food I cant eat and two hours waiting in pain to be able to eat. I will never ever eat at a pita pit again…

Well I was going to go this evening and try it out BUT they were closed at 10:30pm when they’re supposed to be open until 11:30…I never understand why businesses do this. If you’re supposed to be open, stay open, or change your hours. You lose customers in the long run.

My new favorite lunch spot! I’m partial to the falafel on white with hummus and lots ‘o’ fixings. Service is generally fast, usually friendly, and always tasty. A bit more expensive than I was first expecting, but it’s fresh and fast, so I guess I’m trying to say that it’s worth it.
They almost always have lots of seating, it’s not a huge dining area but most folks seems to get their grub and run. They also have one of the new Coca Cola Freestyle machines — you know, the ones with a billion different flavor combos? It thrills me to get the Minute Made light lemonade with raspberry flavoring — AND it’s still light even with the flavoring! Fab.

If you happen to stop by this Pita Pit in person, everything is just dandy. The prices aren’t bad for the amount of food you’re getting, and everything I’ve ever had has tasted great.
Now, if you feel like being lazy every once in a while, and feel like meandering over to your computer, ordering online, and waiting for delivery, then I highly recommend getting out the Scrabble, Monopoly, maybe even Risk. Why? Because your laziness will cost you one heck of a wait.
I’ve ordered twice from this Pita Pit, and both times, I’ve ended up waiting up to and over an hour. In that amount of time, I could have gotten myself in my car, picked up my order, driven to Starbucks, saved a kitten from a tree, and then come home. Instead, I end up hangry (hungry + angry) and getting a stomachache from eating so damn fast when my food actually arrives. Plus, there’s a delivery fee, which, in my hangry state, just makes me more bitter and resentful.
So, if you’re hankering for a relatively well-​priced, fresher fast food option in the Beaverton area, I’d suggest getting in your car and driving there to pick it up. Otherwise, get comfortable and settle in around a game of Risk. There’s no way you’re going to be able to hold Asia, especially if you’re hangry.

Assembly style, for pitas — something for everyone here. Agreeable and reasonably priced lunch spot. There is private lot parking but it shares with many business on a busy street across from Cedar Hills Crossing, another strip mall. Sometimes it can be pretty cramped.
They do offer delivery, but only within a VERY limited radius. Check the website for more info, or call to ask. I know I unfortunately live outside it.

The Pita Pit gets extra points for being the only fast food type place I’ve been to that posts their nutrition facts right up on the sneeze guard for everyone to see. They’re somewhat out of date, but still helpful. I’m on a low sodium diet, and most restaurants don’t even have the nutrition facts available, period. I love knowing I can go there and stay within my dietary restrictions. The food, for the most part, is fresh and delicious.
One word of caution: AVOID THE HUMMUS. It gave me (as well as everyone else I’ve talked to that’s had it before) the runs. Eep.

I have some great memories of going to Pita Pit a few years back while in college. I was in the area and saw this Pita Pit and wanted to relive those old memories. It was definitely a bad idea. The food quality was terrible with the lettuce very brown and there was not much at all to my pita. My boyfriend went with me and he felt the same way. Both of our memories are now tarnished.
The service was nothing to write home about, the employees didn’t seem very happy to have customers. I won’t be visiting this location again.

Have always like Pita Pit — it’s a good quick/​healthier meal than most.
Lots of meat/​veggie options and they do have whole wheat pitas
Cost has gone up over the years averaging about $ 6.50 for a pita, but still not bad. The pita’s themselves are rather large.
Another nice note — they have calorie counts posted if you are watching out for that.
Sauces — they have tons of them.
Staff…so so. This location in particular they are lacking in staff half the time. i.e. making it a long wait. Odd that they would only have one person working during a dinner rush?
Another qualm is that there is not a ton of meat for the meat to pita/​veggie ratio. Ordering double meat will cost ya… but the way they make em you’ll get all meat/​sauce on one end and veggies on the other. You’d think they would start with the sauces first? Maybe it’s time for a change in routine.

I like the pita pit. They have great food that is fast and fresh. The only thing I would change is the staff. They are not particularly friendly.

I used to have pita pit back in College. It was one of the late night food joints at OSU on Monroe… ahh. the memories…
My sister and I decided to re-​visit the chain after many years… and gosh… is it bad or is my memory not serving me right? The menu expanded by a great deal but the overall quality isn’t there anymore for me. It’s good that they have a fresh grill but the set up makes them drip and drop while they scoop from the grill and make their way to the pita counter… I can only imagine the grease on the floor…
The cashier was pretty careless too that he was going to charge me and the next person’s meal.
Overall, Id rather have chipotle…

My boy friend whisked me away during my lunc break to this place he has been frequenting lately. It was just a 5 mintue drive away, so I figured we’d return by the time I needed to get back to work. When we got there, there were about five people trying to decide what to get. I ordered small Dagwood (Turkey, ham and roast beef.) which I mistakenly read as «Dogwood» which is the name I said… *cough* (noun:
a thick sandwich filled with a variety of meats, cheeses, dressings, and condiments —
) which must have showed what a ignorent Asian girl I am (laughs)
I put in spinich, chopped onions, little bit of olives, sprouts, and feta cheese all inside the wheat pita bread with honey mustard topping, almost wish I had not forgotten the Tzatzki sauce, which I cannot find anywehre else. It is healthy alternatives to Burger King (which I don’t eat to begin with) and nice alternative to Subway (which I am tired of eating).
Portion was reasonable, and I did not have to leave it half uneaten. I was amazed how long the line grew after we finished our order, as people in exercise outfit and business formal came in to grab a bite. Overall it was a nice quick place to eat before getting back to work, and not worry about upset stomach afterward. I’d recommand it, although being frugal I felt like I could make the same meal for less $ at home.
