I came here a few months ago and have been wanting to write a review but was too lazy to at the time haha. I wanted to try out this place sooo I called prior to find out if they accepted walk-​ins. Came here on a Saturday afternoon — big mistake! Ended up waiting for over an hour but that was my bad! I can understand them being busy on a weekend so needless to say I felt like my experience was somewhat rushed. I had ‘Trina’ or ‘Trisha’ to put on some acrylic tips followed by a shellac french manicure. All was well until she buffered my nails so hard two of my fingers began to bleed on the edges. Ahh! That was painful, especially when she used the nail primer to prep my nails for the acrylic. That absolutely BURNED. Two of the tips that she glued on were crooked and lopsided. Looked really odd for how long I wanted my tips, but at least the shellac manicure turned out alright. All of this for $ 60. I’ll be honest I didn’t tip and this probably isn’t a place I’d ever go to again. They also gave me a container with a sanding block and nail filer of garbage quality haha but what do you expect?

Dont go here! They painted over the messed up nail to try and fix it and the gel came off within 3 days so now i have half gel and have matte they wont redo arlics even tho that’s what i paid for. And they cut me 3 times and was unable to do the redo them.

The service was friendly, fast, and clean. They did one of the best jobs that I have ever had with my eyebrow wax.

Tracy did my nails this time. But I’m never disappointed whenever I come here. It doesn’t matter who did my nails they always come out perfect! Several other places I used to go to always get it on my skin and don’t look like I paid to get them done. I will never go anywhere else, but here!

The customer service here has gone SERIOUSLY down hill and I will never ever return. The managers/​owners have run myself and many of my friends out of their establishment. I used to love coming to paradise for their great staff and wide variety of colors, but being treated with such lack of respect has turned me away. Ladies and gentlemen, you can be treated with way greater care and compassion at other nail salons around town.

I love the aethetics, and the shellac nail color options even more. They have mood/​temp color changing shellac! The workers are nice too. But the deal-​breaker for me is the quality of their acrylic powder. For a $ 45 shellac full set, my nails broke in one week. They did not break because of the length. I’ve had acrylics for some time, and know that when they break it is usually because the nails get too long, and it cracks halfway down your nail. With the nails I got here, they broke off right at the tips in a way that seemed as if the powder got soft. As much I love the colors they have, I can’t afford to pay $ 45 for something that will last one week.

I have been going to Paradise Nails since they opened, the owner Jenny has done my nails for about 12 years now. I have always had a great experience, I have in a pinch had my nails done at other salons and there is just NO comparison! Whatever product and techniques they use my nails never last or look as good as when Jenny does them.
All the girls are nice, I have never encountered any of the negative issues that some have noted in their reviews. I have pedicures mostly in the summer and love them, several of the girls have done them and I have had no issues.
Some reviews said the prices were high and they upsale! Pricing might be a little more than other salons but Jenny buys the best products and not the cheap products. Other salons buy cheaper product, and I have had them done cheaper and they always lift and break. My experience with Paradise Nails is you get what you pay for and that is a great job! In regardsto upsales I have never in 12 years had anyone try and sell me more than what I asked for.
I have gotten to know Jenny and her staff over the years and always enjoy my experience.
I am still shaking my head at the less than 5 Star reviews that I read here! I guess some people are just not happy people and have to have something to complain about!
I have always been happy with Jenny, and some have commented that her husband is rude and I disagree with that as well! You need to go some place more than once to make an informed decision, give Paradise Nails & Spa a try for the first time or for a second time! Be courteous to the staff and they will be courteous to you!

Who has ever received a 40% salary increase?
Will not return and I will advise my friends to boycott this business.

I’m not too picky when it comes to getting my nails done but I would prefer them not to look like I did them myself, which is not good at all. I think I asked the technician that I wanted rounded nails three times but still she squared them off a little bit. I was so done at this point that I just went with it, figured the rest will look good.
The rest did NOT look good. The polish is completely uneven, and the thumb nail already has started to chip because she didn’t polish the very tip edge of the nail. Theres even some polish on my skin. Honestly I tried being really nice and told her what I didn’t like but she wasn’t listening. At that point I just was done. I wanted to get out of there. What a waste of money!

Let me begin by saying I have been to Paradise Nails a handful of times for pedicures. It is a convenient location for me to get to from work and wait out traffic before heading home. I have never had trouble with them before, and love the massage chairs, and (most of the time) the service. I have never posted a bad review.
THAT being said… I came here on Wednesday to get my acrylics removed and had, hands down, the worst experience I have ever had at any nail salon.
Short story: Had a masochistic nail lady who left me in pain and with a terrible manicure.
Long story: I had called ahead to specify that I needed acrylics removed long before my appointment and asked for a simple clean up + some polish. I also scheduled a pedicure. Upon arrival, I was seated and received the pedicure. They told me that someone else would come over and start on my acrylics. The pedicure was fine, but nearly an hour had passed and no one had come by to start on my acrylics. I don’t get them often and I didn’t know what the protocol was, so I asked.
Upon flagging someone down, I found out they’d forgotten about me. Then they left me alone for another 10 – 15 minutes with no communication. Finally, someone walked over and brusquely sat down.
She started dremeling my gel polish off. I did not soak my hands in acetone, etc at any point. After getting enough of the polish off (it was flying everywhere), she started clipping my acrylic nails. At certain points it felt like she was clipping the acrylics dangerously low, and getting my real nails underneath. Fine if it happened by mistake a couple times. not cool when it’s happening on every single nail and she is ignoring my Unilocal of pain. After roughly plying my acrylics off with the sharp point of her nail file, the nail tech asked me if I could meet her at the mani table so that the pedi lady could clean up the station.
She impatiently waited at her station as I gathered my things and did not offer to help me. She then filed, manically clipped, and painted over the remaining glue on my nails. I could tell she had begun to notice some of her errors, but my nails were cut so short there was no way to fix them. So she painted over her mistakes. I have attached a picture of my resulting manicure. The nails are cut crookedly, the polish is uneven because she did not buff/​remove the glue, and yes. Part of the nail on my thumb is cut down to the SKIN. She tried to hide it by painting over the broken nail.
I admit I had a bit of a delayed reaction to the mani. But it was not until I went to work the next day that I felt how painfully short she had trimmed my nails. The photos were taken immediately after receiving the manicure… with one taken after my chipped nail fell off today to reveal that she had also cut the skin underneath. highly doubt I’ll be back. Definitely will not recommend to friends.

It was my first time there and my impression is — Service was not good. The person that did my nails is very rough on me and had a horrendous attitude. The décor and environment are nice but quality of service is what brings customers back. Disappointed.

So here’s the thing. I only just started getting into manis and pedis a few months ago, I’ve gone to about 3 or 4 places, all acceptable until yesterday. It was my birthday, and I thought I’d treat myself to a nice manicure.
I’d recently grown out my nails with shellac and decided I wanted the length cut off. I told the manicurist so, as well as that I wanted rounded. Not square.
She proceeded to file down my nails length slightly before continuing. She left them like that and asked me to wash my hands. I asked her to please file them down some more. Her neighbor told her what to do.
So she files them down completely uneven and half of them are completely square. This was the first time at a nail salon that I’ve ever just wanted to take the tools from her and do it myself.
She asks me to wash my hands and I unwillingly ask her to make them even and rounded. Two other workers come over to try to help her. One even shows her on my pinky. So at that point she finished my hands, I wash them, and before she can get any color on them, an older more experienced worker wordlessly steps in and finishes the job more quickly than I’ve ever had it done before without talking to me.
I felt like I was being shooed away for my indecency of asking for what I wanted and the whole experience kinda blew.
On the plus side, my shellac looks fine. But still, I would go somewhere else, anywhere else.

Really like this place! It’s replaced my last go-​to nail salon which had been going downhill with quality.
Super clean, nice aesthetics, really modern equipment and friendly staff. It’s easy to go here with a friend for a mani or pedi and chat if you’re into that.
They do a great job with shellac and have an INSANE amount of colors… Maybe too many to choose from sometimes! HA!
All I’d like to see would be maybe a little longer time spent on the scrubbing and leg massage part of the spa pedi… But really no complaints. My new regular spot.

It’s hard to find a good nail place in the Beaverton area. This place is the best I have found. They have decent size staff, so your wait is never long. It’s bright and the décor is great. They have cute kid mani seats for little ones too. The staff, like at most all salons I have ever been to, are not very talkative. That can make for a very quiet time if you go by yourself. But, they do a good job so I can’t really complain.
Bring your own file and toe separators If you own your own, otherwise it’s a dollar extra.
Also, great prices!

I have recently heard that a lot of the good nail girls have left this rude place! Good! I hope they all do. Jenny and her husband, T act like psychos! And Jenny struts around looking and acting like the Madame of a House of I’ll repute. Disgusting how they think they can treat people!

I was going to a wedding this past weekend and had to get a mani. Unfortunately once I got out of work on Friday there were only a few places that were open so I settled for this place.
Having high hopes for a good mani (after looking at the pictures) I was pretty disappointed. The lady I got was pretty nice but felt like she was rushing the whole time — you can definitely see it from the manicure she gave me. I got shellac and It was pretty bad. It was splotchy and you can sections throughout all my fingers where the color didn’t even cover my nails. When I went up to the counter and pointed out the problem, they told me that the nail polish is supposed to do that. Really? You’re the expert, and you’re telling me nail polish is supposed to do that? Probably not coming here again. Sorry.

Jenny has been doing my nails for nearly 14 years. She is consistent, professional, and always a pleasure to work with. I am grateful that she is my nail tech. I highly recommend checking out Paradise Nails.

New store policy indicates that if you’d like to leave a tip for your tech, you can no longer write that extra few bucks onto the credit card charge slip. Instead — they have a shiny new ATM in the lobby just for your convenience.
The ATM indicates that it will be charging you a $ 1.00 service fee for usage.
For this one-​time low-​cost, you actually get $ 100.00 added to your withdrawal. That’s right! A HUNDRED DOLLARS for the service fee is what is actually charged to your card, even though the screen clearly states «$ 1.00.»
Since it is likely a debit card you’ll be using, your bank won’t give a crap. They will simply laugh and tell you to go pound sand when you call to dispute the charge. The salon manager seems to be incapable or unwilling to use a phone, or any other means to help you out.
If you enjoy hemorrhaging $ 100 bills for ATM service charges, I’d say this is the place for you! If you’d like to keep your money — go somewhere else.
Paradise Nails and Spa — If you’d like to call my girlfriend back and help her get her $ 100 back, I’ll happily remove this review. Until then — it stays.

It’s been 19 days since my gel manicure and it only began chipping and peeling two days ago. This is by far the longest I’ve had one last and the best quality one.

This place is close to home and it had some good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I walked in and they got right to it. They kept speaking their language and laughing; it was obvious that they were talking bad about you. There services was good, I loved my nails but I prefer to go to a place where I can understand them, where they don’t talk bad about their costumers and where I won’t feel uncomfortable.
For this reason I’ll be talking my business somewhere else.
