Specialties
Bonnie specializes in teaching voice, piano, and flute lessons to beginners of all ages. She develops your ear by engaging your critical listening skills each time you play through a song. She engages your body by providing specific exercises to assist in making the best sound possible. Her lessons inspire you to prepare throughout the week and soar to a new level of knowledge during lessons. No matter your other goals for music lessons, her goal is to enable you to sing your soul through the medium of fingers flying over keys or voice lifted in melody.
History
Established in 2006.
Since 2006 Bonnie has been engaging new students in listening, composition, reading, and learning music. She teaches voice, piano, and flute lessons in her home studio, online, and in your home for a travel fee (subject to availability).
Engage…Inspire…Sing!
Engage mind and body in the experience of making music! Lessons include technical exercises, historical context, listening examples, and integrating breathing into your playing.
Inspire students to go beyond the lesson! Fun yet informative lessons motivate students to spend time on their instrument at home. Composition is just one more element of learning to play your instrument as you learn how to communicate your own creation, not only famous songs.
Sing: A master musician is one who lets his or her soul communicate using an instrument. Whether through the keyboard, flute, or using the voice, lessons provide you will the skill and confidence to sing out!
