Thought I had found the best for chili verde burritos but I was wrong. I stopped at Maria Bonita and tasted the very best chili verde burrito since I left So Cal. It was meaty, tasty and so inexpensive. I ordered it as a wet burrito to go and was really pleased with how it was packaged(no spills and messy containers). She even added chips & salsa as well for $ 7.95!!! It was so large I have enough for lunch tomorrow. Will definitely be going back with the whole family for a nice sit down meal.

Great lunch specials for $ 5.99, especially the chicken enchilada! The staff is friendly too, the main gentleman is a cool guy.

First off, the dishes are all delicious. Their salsa is on point. The food is some of the best Mexican food in the area. The staff is super nice and helpful. Service is fast. The lunch prices are pretty nice, but the dinner prices are a bit high. The location is very accessible and there is plenty of seating. No complaints, just wish it was cheaper.

My mom and I come here specifically for the Menudo, we have tried many around town and this is by far the best, I enjoy these little Mexicali style restaurants, homemade tortillas and a selection of beer. The service is always warm and pleasant.

Good place to grab tacos in the middle of the night, I’m a vegetarian so they didn’t have many options for me but I was in the mood for what I ordered, which helped. Would not order their margaritas again, felt like that was a rip for the price. I am willing to go back and try other items on the menu at some point though.

Yuck. Watery, too spicy salsa. Chips seemed stale. My sons gave 6 out of 10 on their burritos. One thought it was halfway between Taco Bell and Chipotle. I had 3 tacos, all different. Mostly quite delicious. Bad first impression: grimy, unwashed glass door and filthy carpet.

While looking for a different restaurant, I ended up here. Ordered the Torta Cubana, and I can honestly say that it was the best I’ve ever had and for the size, it was properly priced at $ 8.50. Layers of milanesa beef, grilled ham, grilled hot dogs(yeah, hot dogs), thin plain omelet, shredded lettuce, and avocado! I took half home to enjoy later. The waiter was personable and attentive, and will visit again soon.

My coworker and I saw the«Lunch Specials $ 5.50» sign and decided to give it a try. But the lunch specials were very minimal. My $ 8 burrito as pictured was good, but no veggies, they were extra. We felt somewhat deceived by the sign and the prices seemed high for what you get. Probably will go to Chipotle or Baja Fresh less than half a mile away next time.

This is my favorite go to restaurant! The staff here are wonderful and the food is great! I love love love the tacos. And the best news… The liquer license is up and moving. Had a refreshing cold beer with my tasty tacos on Saturday, and I am still in heaven on Monday!

After seeing the 5 stars(with 4 reviews) we were hoping to find a hidden gem… unfortunately we are still searching. Even though there were spots available, we had to wait to be acknowledged and seated. They took our drink order(which wasn’t too much since they didn’t have margaritas) and then we didn’t see them again until after they took the orders of people who came in after us. The two of us were able to eat all of our chips(which never got refilled) and need a couple of refills on the 5 oz. glasses of water(which sat empty multiple times). The place began to fill up, which we were hoping was a good sign, until they got their food before us. The food was mediocre at best, they didn’t bring us tortilla for the Chili Colorado, and my order was wrong(ordered 1 chicken and 1 shredded beef enchilada and got 2 chicken). We never had a chance to mention it since they didn’t come by to check on us until we finally flagged them down to get Togo boxes. To top it off the enchiladas which were on special on the front board were full price on our check. We usual understand when places have off nights and return again… but this place will not be one of those.

I ordered the fish tacos. It was excellent! I’ve had fish tacos from several different Mexican restaurants in the beaverton portland area, and these were by far the best! I brought my two daughters here and it was great! We also got nachos. The salsa is really good and the beans and rice were awesome! Our waiter was very friendly and prompt with refills, etc. in the background there was a Mexican soccer game going on, and Mexican music playing.

This is a lovely neighborhood place with great prices, fresh food, homemade sauces and tortillas. The services was warm and friendly also. We got giant platters and 2 sodas for $ 20. I did not think that was possible for sit down service.

Had the best chile rellenos ever here, and since Mexican food is my favorite I have had a bit of experience with em. Hubby had pollo asada, a tasty heaping plate. Daughter had shredded beef enchiladas and scarfed them down. This was all $ 30 total! Will definitely be going back

I have not had a dish that hasn’t been super yummy at this restaurant. The prices are reasonable. The food is great. The tacos are perfect. The carne asada was dreamy. I’d go eat there everyday if I could.

Finally found a gooood Mexican restaurant. It only took 3 years. Totally worth the wait. I had the Sopa and wow, fresh, didn’t taste fishy, and I didn’t feel gross afterwards. When we walked in the waitress greeted us and seated us right away. There were a lot of people so we figured it must be good. Their carnitas are also very good. Try it try it try it!!! This place was formally la Sierra but I guess they are privately owned now so they changed their name to Maria Bonita.
