Wife and I looked around and ended up buying the Precor elliptical machine we wanted here. Very plesant experience, Paul took his time to explain everything to us so we felt like we were getting exactly what we wanted/needed. No cheesy salesman just a real person obviously passionate about helping people hit their fitness goals while meeting expectations and budgets. If your in the market for exercise equipment look around just make sure you visit this store, in fact make it your last stop so you have something to compare to, you’ll see the difference! Exercise Equipment Northwest Great place with great equipment. Great«prebuying» experience and unfortunately ends there . Very poor post buying experience in terms of service and attitude. Actually my brother bought equipment from them and warned me of this before recommending them. I even let the person in the store know this during my purchase. He looked up my brother’s name and addressed him by his first name and said«we know him«. Unnecessary display of familiarity when you do not even answer their calls for service needs. When I bought an Precor elliptical from them, it was a smooth experience. I requested them about a potential move that could happen downstream and they reassured me that their folks would do it for a fee as long as I call them in advance. Starting 20 days prior to my move, I called them and spoke to one Scott/Steve. He took down my details and told me «someone» would call me and gave me a price. We agreed on a date. I did not receive any call. 10 days prior to the agreed date, I called him again and he expressed surprise that no one called me. I gave him my phone number and spelt each digit carefully. On the agreed date, no one showed up. Therefore, I called the Beaverton office and someone asked my phone number and when I started reciting my phone number, he said he has the last digit as zero and therefore deflected the lack of response back to me. I did not receive any apology or empathy regarding the situation I was in. I tried to schedule something later and during those phone calls I was routed to their Portland office. One of the persons on the phone told me «I have a customer waiting for me «and put the phone down. Their interest in selling machines evaporates the moment you buy the machine. This is actually a catch 22 situation because the warranty expires if someone else takes apart the machine for either a move or service. In essence, they hijack the potential buyer. Miserable, deplorabe attitude suddenly starts showing up after the buying is complete.
