Loved this theater! I’ve only been once, visiting from out of town. We have nothing close to this in Silicon Valley, California. Our ticket prices tend to be $ 11.50 to $ 12 for standard tickets, and $ 17 for 3D. My sister said these tickets for an evening showing of Star Wars in 3D, after just coming out was for $ 10.50 each for reserved seats! Zero lines, due to the reserved, purchased in advance tickets; while friends in CA were turning around as the lines to get in to the new movie were so long.
What I loved:

— Reserved seats!
— Comfortable, reclining chairs
— Enough leg room to completely stretch out your legs!
— Wine bar in the lobby! (We did not use)
— Fireplace/​sitting room area in the lobby!
— Gourmet food that can be delivered to you on a tray (We did not use)
Best movie experience I’ve had! I’m hoping California steps it up, and starts installing these features (and keep the cost down)!

I love the location, Progress Ridge. Love the seats and the screens. The best is when you buy a seat instead of just a ticket into the theater.
Ticket prices are quite high — always check Groupon prior to buying tickets. Purchasing tickets online is annoying with show times page looking like a website from the 90’s. Also, there is a fee when purchasing tickets online, not preferred.
If you like less busy theaters then check out a movie on Tuesdays, discounted ticket pricing and fewer people.

I live a block away from the theater so I love the convenience. The gxl theater is fine. The Living Room theatre is comfortable with the reclining seats and ottomans. However, the movie parlor has the most uncomfortable seats for a theater I’ve ever sat in. I spent the entire time fidgeting and looking for a comfortable position. The backs are so upright. It was horrible. Thank god it was tight wad Tuesday so I only spent $ 6. The concession stand is always understaffed so you can wait forever if there’s a line. The bathrooms are too far away if you are in a theater towards the front of the building. Poor design. Fortunately, all theaters have great sound and picture. It’s close to being a great place to see a theater. Unfortunately, I quite often will drive the extra distance to Regal Bridgeport to see a movie. It’s s much better experience, albeit usually more crowded.

The movie experience here is great. Hot food service is living room & movie parlor theaters. Same food can be ordered at concession counter & taken to the grand auditoriums. Adult beverages can be had when in the living room theaters.
Always nice to pick the seat you want to sit in, before entering the theater.

Overall, I like this place. They occasionally get our food order wrong, but they are good about correcting it. Could be a little cleaner, but I’d still go back.

Ahh, who doesn’t love a classic dinner and movie date night? Definitely a favorite for me! Not to mention you can even order booze to enjoy during the movie which is even better. Cinetopia makes the night so easy and enjoyable being a theatre with movie parlor and living room theaters where you can enjoy spacious and comfortable seating and enjoy a delicious meal and just chill.
You can either order drinks or snacks outside of the theatre at concessions or order food inside the theater before the movie starts. It is so convenient to relax in your seat and order your food to enjoy when the movie starts. Cinetopia has even improved the system so you can select seats ahead of time when you purchase online, which is great. No more showing up an hour early to wait in line and get a good seat.
The most previous time I visited we went to go see the new Star Wars movie in 3D, which was amazing! The only disappointment was that we were in one of the smaller theaters, and the guy sitting behind me kept kicking the back of my chair throughout the movie. Lame. Oh well lol.
Parking lot can get a bit full on a busy night. Prices are a little in the higher end, but you pay for the fun experience and comfort in the movie experience and service.
Overall, I love Cinetopia’s dinner and movie option, alcohol option, and comfortable seating. I can’t wait until next time I can visit again for another cool movie experience:)

400^th review!!! Holy cow this place is awesome! I’ve always wanted to check out a place where you could buy dinner in the movie house and my cousin was cool enough to show us this joint! Although I didn’t eat anything, I did notice the bar next door and that another guest had walked into his auditorium with booze. So me being me ordered myself a beer and whiskey and couldn’t have enjoyed Star Wars the force awakens any more! The ticket attendant was super funny when she checked us in, and I wish I had taken pictures of our room but man, when you have a fireplace and comfy ass chairs in a warm and toasty theater when it’s crazy cold outside… game changer! We definitely need more of these types of establishments back in California, but definitely a cool place to watch a movie if you ever find yourself up here in Oregon!

Ordinarily I have nothing but good things to say about Cinetopia, as it’s my favorite and most visited theater. As a movie fan, as their tag line says: why see a movie in coach, when you can see one in first class; it is normally the best of experiences. I think I can be a pretty good judge as I’ve been to all of the Cinetopia’s in the metro area somewhere around 50 times in the last couple of years. (Needless to say — I go to a lot of movies)
However, this evening I had a few difficulties with the concession stand. After arrival I proceeded to get some food and beverage, ordering a medium popcorn, large soda, and a kid’s chicken strips (it’s a bit more reasonable size-​wise than the adult size, and about half the cost).
While getting my napkins and straw situated I happened to look at my receipt for my order, and noticed that I’d been charged full price ($ 7) for my popcorn (it’s on special on Tuesdays for $ 2.50). I proceeded to bring this to the attention of the concession staff, who took a few moments to credit my card back. For the error, they were gracious and credited the full amount back — not just the $ 4.50 that would have made it right.
Happily satisfied with their solution, I proceeded to my seat with my buzzer in hand (they provide them to you, so that you know when to come back and get your food — although you can also order from your seat in the Movie Parlor or Living Room theaters). I took my seat early enough to watch the commercials they show nowadays, followed by the previews. It’s been about 20 minutes so far, and my buzzer has not gone off. It’s a busy night, so I figure maybe it’ll take a bit longer than usual. I wait.
30 minutes into my movie — 50ish minutes from when I placed my order (The Big Short is phenomenal, by the way), and still no buzz. Okay — it’ll be any minute now.
An hour into my movie (1 hour and 20 minutes now) and I realize that something has gone wrong. They’ve forgotten my food that I’d purchased. Rather than take time out of my movie to go rectify things, I sit. Still hoping that maybe they’ll figure out that a customer hasn’t received what they paid for. No such luck.
Movie’s over. It’s been more than two hours since I initially placed my order. I go to the concession stand to discuss the issue with the staff person there. I inform them of what’s happened, and with barely an apology for the error and not getting my dinner — I’m dismissively credited for my purchases and sent on my way with a $ 15 gift card for my troubles. It seemed as if they didn’t really care what had happened and just wanted me to be on my way.
As I said in the beginning, ordinarily Cinetopia is my go-​to theater. But, not tonight, my friends. Not tonight.

Crappy service. Don’t expect it to be even as good as a bad restaurant. Theatre is okay. Seats are too soft. Get more waiters? Pay attention?
I will not return.

OK, its a nice enough place with exceptional advertising. The two stars is because THEY set the expectations and the folks on the ground have no clue how to execute the experience.
Parking SUCKS, what were they thinking? Box office is a little confusing, you have to take your on-​line ticket inside to exchange the bar code ticket for a real ticket — then you can get in.
The concession stand was disorganized and busy. We had purchased assigned seating, so we weren’t worried about getting our seats, but the young Asian gal at the counter went OUT of her way to take about three times longer than necessary, though we were on time the concession stand made us 10 minutes late. No problem getting to our seats, but the movie had started (just) there must not have been pre-​views.
There was trash in our cup holders and on the floor surrounding our seats — no one had cleaned the theater before our show. I thought that was just common practice in ANY theater. The screen was great, the picture was great, the sound was amazing. The seats were not so comfortable, one was stuck in recline, the other had a spring so strong it threw your butt out of the chair when you tried to recline. Not as comfy as they suggest.
I am a big fan of under promise and over deliver. If you want to tout an exceptional experience (and charge for it) you’d best be able to back it up with an exceptional experience in real life.
I would not go back to Cinetopia to see a move again. I was expecting what they promise, and it just didn’t happen. I’m kind of sorry, it sounded like a cool idea.

I have to give this place 5 stars because the seating is more than comfortable — no kids or adults kicking the back of your seat, the food is excellent and there are theatres in which no one under 21 is allowed. I love that. You also get personal food service and the food is excellent, especially for a theatre! Plus, you can now reserve your seats in advance online — no waiting in long lines and no fighting people for seats! Gotta love it.

Had the same problem with the food twice ! I ordered super ahead of time they gave me a buzzer, never buzzed. Went to the counter my cold burger was sitting there. I complained about it but by then I had gotten up twice from the movie, which was 40 minutes in. I go to the movies to relax and see a movie not to stress about the food sitting there unattended.
Went a month later and I kid you not, it happens to me again ! This is when I realized this is a management problem. They didn’t even offer me a drink or something to compensate for the late and cold burger. I should have asked for a refund. I’m not going to wait another 40 minutes for them to get another burger going.
The prices are high and it feels high end but when it comes to the customer service it feels worst than regal or anything else.

Love this theater, it is a 25 min drive to go here but since they started reserved seating you can show up at the last minute and you have a reserved seat.
Prices are a little higher then Century and Regal but the seats are much better, lots of space forward and to the side. Living room theater is my favorite with ottomans.
If you want to Order food you can in the theater and you can also get beer, cider and wine. The sound quality has always been great in each theater type I have been in.
The movie parlor room is fun to go into for a more intimate experience. If you haven’t been here give it a shot, it is worth it.
Best to buy your tickets on their website and chose your seat.

Why see a movie in coach when you can see it in first class?
I really do love the Living Room and Movie Parlor theaters at Cinetopia. Food and drinks served to you at your seat and, wait for it… 21 and over ONLY.
This is the greatest idea in our time. No offense to the breeders — but the movies are NOT the place to bring the kids. I truly appreciate the option to have a child free movie experience.
Yes it is more expensive — but the seats are über comfy, all have ottomans, the sound and picture quality is top notch. You’re worth it. Come have a beer or some wine — get some truffle fries, share the tower of chocolate and enjoy the show — grown up style.

A generally clean and nice theater with lots of different seat options. We sat in the xtra large theater in the front row, it was quite an experience!
Your standard overpriced theater food is all available (just sneak in something small from new seasons), along with an attached wine bar and restaurant which apparently streams Monday night football games, and possibly other sports as well.
Parking is no fun on a busy day, get ready for that.

I was pretty excited to watch Star Wars here and I think my expectations were a bit high. There are a lot of very young people working at this theater and my opinion is they are not properly trained to provide a good experience for the customer. Let me explain. I assumed I was going to be watching the movie in one of the nice living room type theaters but instead there is at least one theater that is your typical type. I haven’t been to a movie for at least a year so I could be crazy but I thought an excess of 16.00 a ticket for your typical theater was a bit high. Okay, I can live with that… I wasn’t going to let that bring me down. This is Star Wars we are talking about! Obviously the theater was busy because of the Star Wars crowd but the level of filthiness that I saw here pretty much topped a lifetime of experiences at movie theaters. The trash cans all through out the building were overflowing with trash. I’m talking can full and now stuff being set around it now. Popcorn everywhere. In the theater and in the halls. I bought a soda and could see piles of popcorn all over the floor that the employees were all walking on. No one cleaned our theater before our movie started so there was litter all around our seats. Just uncomfortable. Twice people came saying we were in their seats. We weren’t they were in the wrong theater. No one was taking tickets and directing people so they were all just wondering around trying to figure it out. I didn’t even know that I was watching the movie in 3D. Maybe that’s why it was expensive. The kid who sold me the ticket didn’t know either I’m guessing. Anyway, we started to see people showing up with glasses and had to head out to find some for ourselves. All I can say is if you are a kid looking to sneak into a free movie you should have no difficulty. Just sneak into the front two rows. Lol. There are no ticket takers and no one is paying attention in this place. Too bad because this place has all the potential to be amazing but the place isn’t run well. I did see a kid wearing a backpack vacuum when I got up to use the bathroom but it looked like the vacuum didn’t work too well on the popcorn. I’m thinking this would be a classic movie management battle, popcorn vs vacuum. Surely someone has ideas about how to fix this? The only saving grace here was that the movie was amazing! Best of luck Cinetopia I’m hoping you can energize to get the place running in tiptop shape!

This is probably my least favorite movie experience ever. We bought advanced tickets for Force Awakens and had to wait in line for tickets we already had and the line for the concessions was INSANE. When you get to the counter, the attendants were filthy (it was a 9am show) and they were totally apathetic and slow.
I had high hopes for this theater, especially given how much we paid for admission. I will be contacting their management.

Got my tickets at Costco, which cost me $ 19.99 for 2.
Picked out the movie we wanted to see and tried to save the seats… If you use tickets from Groupon and Costco you have to physically go to Cinetopia to reserve your seats.

I get your logic of wanting people to show up early and maybe eat and drink in your restaurant… But, when you take into account gas, pitcher of beer ($ 22.50), and nachos ($ 6.00) it starts to get annoying.
I’ll have to admit I did enjoy the reclining chair!

Overall, this place definitely deserves 5 stars!
I had a little bit of a hiccough coming here for the first time, but the way their customer service representatives handled the situation made up for the inconvenience!
Yes, the theater is on the expensive side, but if you’re willing to pay for it, the quality is there. I’ve seen 1 movie in the Movie Parlor Theater, and I loved the comfortable seating and the waiter /​food service before the meal. Additionally, the food was actually really good as well.
The animated movie posters is a nice touch, and I liked the rolling clips inside of the theater as well. I thought it was super cute that the room was set up like a little living room (complete with an electric «fireplace»). Once the lights dimmed the ceiling even looked like a starry night.
This theater now does assigned seats, and it looks like you can purchase tickets online as well.
I’ve seen a number of good deals on Groupon in the past for 2 tickets + some snack credit, so check out their website if you are looking for discounts.

It was our first time at Cinetopia. We usually see movies at the Baghdad theater, which is under $ 10. We were asked if we wanted the couches, not knowing what part of the movie theater they were, or what price they were. We paid $ 15.50 each for a matinée. We should’ve asked.
Walked into our «movie parlor» which consisted of a few couches and tables. A little intimate. It’s probably got the capacity for 30 or so people. Ordered a couple of beers. The caveat, is that service is only right before the showing. There’s not an option to order another beer during the movie. We scoped out the living room theater, and would rather see a movie in that theater. The seats recline, and they also offer service 30 minutes prior to the movie. We’ll give it a second shot, at some time. A little on the pricey side, but they do offer tight wad Tuesdays, where movie tickets are $ 6. Good to know! Also, you can reserve tickets online.
