Cinemark 16 Cedar Hills Crossing

There is a really awesome game room with very diverse games for everyone to play before and after a movie. Guitar hero was a really big selling point for me.
The food there was like walking into a theater version of Willie Wonka. They had an ice cream station, Slushie machine, candy scooping area, Nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, lots of candy choices, drink alternatives, ice cream alternatives to ice cream cones. It was a giant cafeteria.
Bathrooms were clean.
Seats were semi-​comfortable. Though after two hours it tends to wear down on the back a bit. Sounds and screen were awesome!!!

Really comfortable seating for a movie theater. My dad and I went and saw a movie from free movie passes we had accrued the last time we were there for a movie they over sold. I was definitely impressed the second time around. They also have a lot of eating options, none of them healthy but snacking none the less.

This is your average movie theater, kids, loud mouths and over priced concessions. They usually only have one person selling tickets and the seats and theaters are cleaned kinda poorly. I’ve worked at a movie theater when I was in high school so I feel I can be critical. I’ve also had several encounters with children walking into R rated movies (at really inappropriate points of the movie) and people saving entire rows of seats for their whole family. I don’t know if that’s more a problem of the theater or the inconsiderate people that come here. If you have the extra cash just go to cinetopia. They also usually start movies late.
You should probably experience for yourself though because theaters have generally pissed me off so much that I’d rather not even go anymore and this review may be more negative than necessary.

Nothing fancy, but perfect for our needs. This is the theater closest to our home, so it has become our go-​to theater. The seats are comfy and since it it in the Cedar Hills shopping strip, we can stop for icecream at Cold Stone, HH apps at Thai Noodle, Etc, or browse through books at Powell’s before or after our show. Still been meaning to come in on a Tuesday for their bargain special.

Basic theater. No real complaints– sound was good, service was fast, etc. Unfortunately the concession area and theater itself were super dirty– popcorn and candy all over the floor and lots of trash in the theater (like no one cleaned between shows).

Love this theater. In all honesty, it’s all about the kettle corn. We can’t seem to go here without getting the ginormous tub. I’d love to find a secret code/​hiding place to leave the tub when we’re done with it other moviegoers, coming in as we leave, can pick it up and use the «Free refill» tab off of it. It’s painful to throw away an unused «Free refill» tab… but Lord knows that one tub full is more than enough.

Nice environment only thing I wish was better were the prices. .it’s so expensive for concessions there.

Cinemark Cedar Hills Crossing, is above average «A-​Ok».
They have extra large screens, «real 3D», new digital technology and stadium seating.
It’s clean, well staffed, and they show a good variety of pictures, from the blockbusters, to some more art housy types.
I wish they had more comfortable seating, and a bigger selection of food and drinks, but all and all Cinemark Cedar Hills is a pretty decent theater.

This movie theater is like any other chain theater, to be honest — overpriced, but does the job. You can, however, buy prepaid tickets to get cheaper tickets.
The theater is clean and new. They serve the concessions typical of movie theaters at exorbitant prices. I will say that this theater always has a good selection of movies, and even has some more Indie or low distribution movies, which is nice. Also, it’s usually not too crowded.

Its definitely better than most of the other theaters I’ve been to in a 50 mile radius of Portland! But definitely not the best I’ve been to.
The main reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because how expensive the popcorn and sodas are. Most popcorns at other theaters are about 6.50 on average, here its almost $ 9, drinks are almost $ 6. Needless to say the prices are greedy.

Love this theater. The stadium seats make the difference here. Sound is really good in the theaters. Slightly cheaper then Regal, and you can’t go wrong with Kettle Korn Popcorn. Now it is time to shhhhh the movie is starting.

I really like this theater. They have kettle korn. Good kettle corn too. They are expensive but they keep the place up very nice. Parking is not so great, always crowded, hard to find a space. There are a lot of dinner places nearby to make it an easy dinner & movie night. The theaters are all spacious and designed so everyone can see over the people in front of them. :-) The seats are very comfortable and roomy. They keep the air temperature very low, so take a sweater.

This theater is clean and has nice screens. Plus you can walk over to new seasons or eat thai food next door before the movie.

It was clean and just about the same as all the other Cinemark 16 Theaters.

Good Weekday Deals.
Good Sound.
Blah, blah, blah.
The movie was funny and I had a good time.

As far as chain movie houses go, this one is A-​OK. It’s clean enough (a nice break from the chains out on 82^nd in SE PDX), the staff is friendly, the concessions are… concessions. Expensive and serving up Type-​2 fare. And the bathrooms are decently clean as well.
Projectors are what you’d expect from any theater of this caliber. The stadium seating is nice but not excellent. The screens are big enough. And, well, if this 3-​star review could get more droll, it would. Suffice to say that I’d see a movie here but I am not going to travel for it. My traveling is reserved for Cinetopia.
Bonus points for cleanliness.

Simple note, this place is now called Century, not Cinemark. It’s a nice and CLEAN movie theater and we saw the new Captain America movie which was pretty darn awesome. Granted like many people who aren’t interested in paying for overpriced popcorn and drinks, we kind of «made our own arrangements» for our snacking preferences for the evening. Gotta love leftover Easter candy… just saying.

It’s a movie theater. It’s pretty standard at that.
Pluses: The lobby area has actual tables and chairs where you can sit! Imagine that! They don’t have a party room, so we did cupcakes (which they let me bring in on my own, along with presents) in this area.
Decent concessions area with Starbucks coffee– not a starbucks store, but they brew the drinks there.
Large auditoriums, cleanish bathrooms, reasonably helpful staff.
Negatives: No party room (which is only a negative if you want to have a kids birthday party!)
kids tickets are more expensive than Cinetopia.
It’s fairly close to my house and we’ve had pretty decent experiences here. We’ll be back.

This was my first time in this part of Beaverton. What led us here was a search for a matinée showing of Life of Pi.
On the plus side, if you get to a showing here early, you will be able to get seats in the stadium-​style seating that offer excellent viewing. But the operative word is «early», because the auditoriums are small and fill up quickly. Oh, and too, the popcorn was great — not salty and not oily.
We had to stand outside in a long line to get our tickets and it was freezing cold. It was the chill I’m sure that made the lady standing behind me in line let loose with her verbal cannons on a poor guy that she thought was taking cuts. Wow, just wow. Well, it would be nice if they did install ticket machines inside, or open more than one window.
The interior corridor was frowsy and frumpy with huge open garbage cans all over the place. Probably worst of all were the long lines of moviegoers doing the pee-​pee dance as they waited to get into the micro-​sized restrooms.
But you know, Life of Pi is such a spellbinder, that the inconveniences cited above didn’t matter in the end.

Good location for a theater. It’s large with plenty of seating, a good array of movies and times, ice cream & coffee shope, video games, all the good stuff you could want before watching a movie.
Biggest thing I noticed was cleanliness. Popcorn and trash… everywhere. The floor was a disaster from the moment you walk in and especially near the theater rooms. It was liked no one had cleaned all day. The theater rooms themselves weren’t bad, it was really just the outside. Other than that overall good experience.

First matinée of the day: only $ 6.25! All movies, 7 days a week.
The parking lot is adequate and the traffic isn’t too bad. Ticket prices are average. Your best bet is to catch the first matinée of any given movie because it’s a bargain at $ 6.25. The facilities are like any other standard issue movie theater. My wife loves the blue Icees. Today I tried the pretzel bites with cheese dip for the first time. The dough was pretty good and I was impressed by the dip. Overall, this is my go-​to movie theater out of convenience.
