Alex has 15+ years of experience delivering massage and spa services in diverse settings, such as luxury, high-​scale hotel spas and low-​key private clinics. He integrates deep-​tissue massage with feather-​light strokes used in international cultures and energy work like Jin Shin Jyutsu, Cranio-​Prana to assist with injury repair and mental healing.

I’ve been a client of Karin Zawadzki for several years, first through In Light of Touch, and then now again through Body and Face Solutions. Karin is very knowledgeable about skin care and her treatments have had a big impact on my overall appearance. I have oily skin, that used to be very acne prone. Since getting treatments with Karin, I can better control the oiliness and very rarely get any blemishes. They carry some of the best, low cost skin care– the Rhonda Allison line is literally the best I’ve ever used, when it comes to moisturizers, serums and home peels. I see Karin every 6 weeks and it is always fantastic.

I waited for this massage for two years and I would have waited longer! But I’m glad I didn’t have to. Alex & Karin (formerly of In Light of Touch spa) have returned to the PNW, and thank goodness because massage options — specifically in far NW/​Beaverton — are rough.
I’ve tried the massage chains and I’ve tried other providers. None of them hold a candle to Body & Face. I’m picky and I think the massage experience should be just right — just the right pressure, the right amount of communication (nothing worse than a massage therapist who chats the whole way through), the right ambiance, and the right price. That’s a lot to live up to and Body & Face exceeds on all counts. Hallelujah they’re back :)
