I am finishing up my last session of laser hair removal on my lip and chin with Radda. Shes awesome and the only one I have ever seen. Radda, is so sweet and very thorough. She really takes her time and I can feel that shes getting all my trouble spots. You should request Radda!
So, I say If you have ever thought of getting lase done, do it! I am medium to light skin with dark brown hair and black course facial hair. My chin was my problem area, it was so gross I could not keep up with tweezing and all the touching and tweezing was irritating my chin so bad that it was broke out and noticeably hairy. There was no keeping up with it anymore. After the first session I noticed a difference in my skin and every treatment since has drastically changed my chin. No more brake outs and the hair on my chin comes in white, not black anymore. Yes, I still have a little prickle now and then. I also have to shave about once a week. Remember though, women are hormonal and hair growth is connected to hormones. So there is no forever fix, I am thinking I’ll have to maintain it every 3−4mo. My chin was so bad that the little bit of shaving and future maintenance I have to do, ill be happy with! I love laser hair removal so much! I am doing every area I possibly can! OMG I would love to laser every inch of my body haha! Oh, the time I would save in life!
Now my only complaints are, is Radda is always late. I always rush to be on time and it takes me 35 min get there. That being said, she does take her time with me, so I am assuming she just giving everyone a thorough treatment. Second complaint is, pricing. I asked about some face product one week. I didn’t purchase it that week. I was told it was 130 with the discount and she would put it in my file for next time I come in. The very next treatment I asked to purchase it and the price jumped up to 150 with discount. She did end up giving me an additional discount at the end, I only paid 125. So, I was happy. Not sure what happened there. I do wish there was a price list somewhere and their discounts printed together or something on the website or hard copy.
I do feel, Sunset Med is the cheapest with the most knowledgeable staff and I did do a lot of research on laser and think Sunset is a pretty good pace to go! Ill be back! You should give it a try!

The laser hair removal here leaves minimal irritation, and noticable results. My face has never looked better!
Oh and the staff is friendly too.

The price sounds good over the phone but watchout! They do a bait and switch upon arrival and refuse to honor what was quoted over the phone. (I was looking for laser hair removal.)

I love this place!!! I’ve had ONE hair reduction for my lower legs and have noticed a huge difference already. I love the warm, cozy spa-​like atmosphere in there and it smells like I’m in Hawaii. They have new amazing owners with brand new equipment too! The technicians are amazing as well. Very informative and professional. I will be back and I will be recommending Med Spa to all of my family and all of my friends!

Oh boy, everyone gets a groupon for sunset med spa and so did I. I had reviewed a few of the comments on here and didnt know what to think. just went there with an open mind, a little nerveous about the treatment but I was well prepared since the girl I spoke wiht over the phone was very thourough with her instructions as to what I should and shouldnt do.
when I arrived there the atmosphere was clean, calm and lights were dim, overall place looked nice and relaxing.
I cant remember the name of my esthetician but she was wonderful, very sweet, she explained the treatment process, got me comfortable. made small talk, the treatment took about 15 min, Im going back this weekend for my second treatment, Im astounded by the results. the hair fell out three days after the treatment, and I cant believe how easy this was.
I went ahead and purchased their special for underarms that they have now, because I have been so please with service and my results. scheduling also was easy, girls were kind enough to offer me a canceled spot early in the day.
I recommend this place to anyone, definetly worth every penny.

Absolutely love this place! I was invited by a friend to an open house for New Owners and had a great time chatting, and sipping spirits. My friend won Botox as a raffle prize and gifted it to me (Thank you FRIEND!!) And I was very impressed with the my experience. This wasn’t my first rodeo, I have had botox and fillers before but always felt dissapointed in the bedside manner received. I mean, for the amount of money and pain you should at least get a hug! Sunset Medspa treated me like a friend and I believe they truly cared. I am actually excited to return and have someone poke me with needles! Thanks for making me look as young as I feel!

The office staff is completely un organized. I went to get my face done and they inform me at the appointment that you cannot use benzoyl peroxide within 3 days of the treatment. Maybe that is something you should state on the phone before someone drives 45 min to get there. The woman wasn’t even remorseful about this situation. Don’t bother going.

I’ve been having laser hair removal treatments for a while now. The results haven’t been quite what I hoped for but there has been a hair reduction (they said it’s because the red in my hair reflects the laser light so it’s not as effective). The girls are kind and make you comfortable in what is an otherwise somewhat awkward and vulnerable situation. Things are clean. Scheduling can be a bit of a pain, but I also have only a limited frame I can schedule in.

Not sure what it is called, but had my face, neck & back gone over to get rid of red skin tags and other markings. There was very few little poke like feelings. The ladies were super nice & professional. I liked it enough I already went back to get some Botox done, above my eye brows. I did feel like I got 1 good size shot above each eye brow. Well it turns out I got 3 above each eye brow ! VERY HAPPY, I only felt 1 of each 3. It seems like I can already see Good Results. I’m a Very Happy customer

Great med spa, gal who did my Botox was very knowledgable and helpful. Nice to have a treatment from such a professional group.

I got microdermabrasion here. It was my first time so I expected it to be a bit unpleasant. To my surprise it wasn’t! I had just a little sensitivity the next day– like a little sunburn but the results were well worth it. Heather did an amazing job with the facial which is part of the treatment. I can’t wait to go back for another treatment in a couple of weeks. I am sure with the new ownership, the spa will only continue to improve!

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a long time. Very nice staff, but huge waste of money. I paid $ 600 for laser hair removal and honestly couldn’t tell even the slightest difference once it was done. And I was told I was an «ideal candidate» for the removal. I have lighter skin with dark hair. I think their technology is just very outdated. Find somewhere more current. Oh, and my brother in law had his back done for $ 800 and also noticed absolutely no difference after all of his sessions either.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. I have never written a Unilocal review before, but I felt the need to warn people about how awful this place is. I bought a package for brazillian laser hair removal in August, and then scheduled my first appointment a few weeks later. I was disgusted with the entire experience, and left in the middle. It wasn’t clean, the technician wasn’t professional, and I had to wait over an hour for someone to see me even though I had an appointment. I ended up speaking with the owner and demanding a refund, to which she eventually agreed. This was about 3 months ago, and I haven’t seen my money yet. I have been calling once a week and speaking to the generally helpful managers, but the owner is just blatantly ignoring me. Horrible establishment with horrible management.

Sorry. I really do hate leaving bad reviews. But, I do want other potential clients to know the truth of my personal experience. I did laser hair removal here. It’s very hard to get an appointment. It did not work AT ALL. The technicians are always changing. Some did okay. Some lazy. Wait time can be long. Bathroom always dirty. No toilet paper. Not overly friendly. I was not at all educated on the process. Like you can’t be in the sun after and you can’t have a spray tan. Which should be gone over one the first telephone booking session. So, I drove all the way across town for my appointment and when she was getting ready to start the procedure she asked what I did and we got started on spray tan talk and I told her I currently had one (clearly she didn’t review the paperwork thoroughly, as I wrote it down) We had to stop and re-​schedule another 1 – 4 weeks out. I am not impressed. I would not recommend.
Overall. Very expensive to see NO results. Especially being a prime candidate. Fair skin. Dark hair. You definitely work around their schedule not yours. Huge waste of time and money.

Like almost everyone that goes here I bought a groupon for the year long laser treatments for the underarms and bikini line.
For the value it is great. I have seen results with my dark hair. Every appointment takes about 40 mins.
The aestheticians seem to change quite often, so they get 4 stars. Find someone that you like and reschedule with them. Appointments are easy to make and you can make a few appointments ahead of time.
I am really happy overall.
It is laser, so it does hurt a little. Try to shave right before you get there, any bit of stubble will make it hurt a little more. And don’t be afraid to ask for more gel.
I would recommend this place to all of my friends.

I purchased a package to laser my underarm and after only 1 treatment I was so happy with the results that I upgraded to do my bikini area as well.
I have been very happy with both the staff and with the results! I highly recommend Susnset MedSpa!

I bought a groupon for a large area for $ 239 which was an awesome deal. The laser worked for me and was minimally painful. The treatments are quick, I was always in and out in 15 minutes.
BUT…
They lack a little something in the professional area. I never felt like the girls performing the service knew very much about what they were doing. There was a variance in treatment as well, even from the same person. Sometimes they were a little lazy and only used one kind of laser instead of two or they only made 2 passes instead 4. They also would hold the laser on my skin two long without letting it breath and that thing gets hot.
I say this after having something to compare it to. I waited to write this review until I tried another place so I had a point of reference. I have now experienced a more professional aesthetician and understand the difference.
Scheduling is also a little annoying. Appointments are scheduled every 4 – 6 weeks and they would give me one scheduling choice and if I couldn’t make that, I would have to wait another 2 weeks or something. I’m sorry, you have one 5-​minute appointment to choose from a month and a half from now — give me a break! And I had to wait like 3 months for my first appointment — ridiculous.
For the groupon rates, I wouldn’t hesitate to go to Sunset MedSpa, but I wouldn’t pay full price ever.
Reading through all the other reviews, I can see why people have positive things to say. Laser Hair Removal is amazing and all the ladies out there know the pain-​staking lengths we all go through to remove hair so we’re willing to do whatever it takes. I just have to say, there are better service providers out.

I had been thinking about getting laser hair removal for a long time. I saw a groupon for this Medspa and read the great reviews and decided to go for it. I’m getting a Brazilian and underarms done. It worked even after just a single treatment. The hair that does grow back grows slowly and is much less course. Eventually the hair that grows out after the treatment then falls out. I am only halfway done, so I’m not sure what my end result will be, but even if a little hair grows back, this is a huge improvement and totally worth the money.
The technology they use is excellent. I experience little to no pain. Just zaps here and there. It also goes so fast! For both Brazilian and underarms I am in and out of there in about 20 minutes. My technician is very nice as well.
I will say, you must have darker hair with contrast against a lighter skin tone for best results. I won’t be using laser hair removal on my legs or arms because I have white skin and blonde hair.

I originally started going here because I had a Groupon, but I keep going back. I’ve had laser hair removal on my underarms, upper lip and lower legs. I’m pretty happy with the results thus far, with the minor exception of my underarms (I have to get a touch-​up and hopefully we’re good to go).
I’ve had a few different techs, but I have to say that Radha is my fave. Fun to talk to and she keeps me distracted from the sometimes unpleasant pain. Though I have to say, the laser isn’t that bad, just be sure to shave the day of. It feels like all the hairs get plucked by the root the first time, but with each procedure, there’s less pain, as there isn’t as much hair to get rid of.
Would definitely recommend for laser hair removal.

I purchased a Grou… pon. UGH, everyone somehow starts with that sentence on their reviews. However, it’s the truth and I can’t deny it — it’s how I was able to experience such an expensive treatment for an affordable cost.
The staff are kind and welcoming people, mind you when I began my treatment there was a lot of kinks to work out with their office staffing… It did get better throughout my time there.
Laser hair removal, don’t listen to anyway when they say «it doesn’t hurt» or «it feels like a pinch». It hurts, it sucks, and I wish there was an easier way to get myself hairless. Although the procedure is brief it can feel like eons until you’re done, but they’ll take their time with you. I felt like a child tensing up in pain, but hey it’s the cost of beauty.
They can be accommodating to your scheduling needs and after a lot of feedback I feel they took in consideration the comments of the 9 to 5 workers and opened up evening and Saturday clinic hours.
When I’m able to find the nerve again, I’ll be back — but for now I’m set and I enjoyed my business while it was here.
