I needed beading-​work repair, adjustments to a corset back, and a custom corset wrap/​lacing created for my wedding dress. Hallie was incredibly professional, flexible, and helpful in choosing the right fabric and fit. She delivered the first fitting and the final product well within her projected timeframe and her pricing was very reasonable. I felt comfortable working with her, especially during sizings. I highly recommend her services!

Hallie was awesome!!! My son has a little «lovie» bunny and it’s head fell off. It’s his go to for comfort and sleep so we were sad. She fixed him up quickly and at a great price. She was so sweet and cared about this project since she has had children herself. She was wonderful.

Hallie came through for me when I needed a dress altered within days for an upcoming cruise. And her kitty is her best assitant!

Hallie is amazing! I needed a pair of pants hemmed for an interview, and she did such an excellent job. I paid $ 12 for her services. What I loved most was that her turnaround was quick, so I didn’t have to worry about waiting a long time to get my pants back. Even better, she’s super sweet and her work is solid.
If you live on the west side, I highly recommend giving her a call!
Tip: I made the mistake of showing up randomly (but she was nice enough to see me anyway), so make sure you call her beforehand to schedule an appointment.

Hallie is fabulous. She is excellent at her craft but that’s only part of it. Just as important is her kind, calm, thoughtful demeanor. She is soft spoken and my nervous daughter the bride-​to-​be was completely calmed by Hallie’s easy way.
Hallie reconstructed the bodice of the wedding gown to go from too big and too bling-​y to being just right. This included a lace back that required removal, re-​working, and sewing back on. She is very careful and has a great eye for how to make things fit and work perfectly. She added a beaded belt and bustle and fixed a hook or two. On the second fitting when we were struggling a little she suggested sew-​in bra cups as a better work-​around than the under garment we were fighting with. We ran to Joanne’s and went back and put it all back on and if course it was the right answer. Her work was reasonably priced for all of the adjustments made to the dress.

Very fast turn around and super nice woman!

Hallie went above and beyond to almost recreate the bridesmaid’s dress that I could not fit into. I tried other alteration professionals before I found Hallie that were not able to help me. I don’t know what I would have done without her help! I would not hesitate to call on her again!

Hallie helped me out when I needed it the most, and it wasn’t even my wedding! A lot of drama happened to me with my bridesmaid dress, and I was, needless to say, flustered with the entire situation; however, all of the help and hard work Hallie put forth on my dress helped raise my spirits and I couldn’t had been more thankful for her. She had to make it bigger so I could actually zip it up. She did a superb job! I actually plan on bringing it back to Hallie soon to have it turned into a cocktail dress (her idea!), especially by summer!

Hallie is amazing, very inexpensive. As a college student, I felt that her prices worked well for my budget, and my jeans looked amazing! I had about 10 pairs that needed hemming, and a jacket that needed to have the sleeves taken up, and Hallie did a swift and excellent job. Highly recommend!

I have taken several pairs of jeans to various locations around the Beaverton/Tigard/L.O. area and all have disappointed me. Nobody would match up the thread colors or make the jeans bottoms look at all appealing.
I read a few reviews for Hallie and thought I would take a chance. Her total cost for jeans were cheaper if not competitive to the other places I’ve been to and she did two things nobody else would do: save the bottoms and guarantee the work.
I have never heard of a local/​personal business guarantee their work and replace the jeans if you weren’t satisfied. My jeans are not cheap and I’m sure others have expensive jeans as well.
I was excited to see that the work that she did on my jeans were great. She did a great job on blending the bottoms to make it almost unrecognizable of the work she did. I showed a friend and he was even impressed. I have since taken more jeans to her to have them done and will continue to do so in the future.

I hate to give the first bad review but, I have to be honest my jeans look really, really bad! First I brought a pair of AG jeans to be hemmed I wanted to keep the original hem, she said ok, I left them on a Wednesday and asked if I could pick them up the following Tuesday she said ok and if they were done sooner she would call me, on the following Thursday I called and she said she had not even started them yet. She told me to come on Monday and get them so, 12 days later I went to pick them up. Well, the measurements are correct but the hem job looks horrific! All that was done was 1 inch was folded up inside and another line was sown on so, now I have the original hem plus and additional line sewn above that. Honestly my $ 100 pair of jeans look really bad! Maybe jeans just aren’t her thing! Won’t be coming back here again.

I had my bridesmaid dress altered here. Hallie puts you right at ease and is a very kind woman. I was very happy with her service, quick turnaround, communication and the price was very affordable. I will definitely return if I find myself ever needing anything altered again!

Hallie SAVED my wedding and my sanity! I had a custom size dress made by another company and it was actually made wrong and arrived 2 weeks before my wedding day. Instead of an A-​line they made an a-​line/​mermaid hybrid so it was actually too long in the hips and looked horrible! It also dragged on the floor in the wrong way too. This was a big wedding dress with loads of frilly flower detail on the skirt, and a box-​pleat rouched bodice — not an easy dress to alter. After showing Hallie what was wrong with the construction of the dress, she was able to remove the excess fabric, reattach the skirt and make it look the way it was supposed to look in the first place! She managed to squeeze my alteration into her schedule and even got it back to me earlier than expected — good seamstresses are busy people!
Don’t look any further! Make the drive to Beaverton and see Hallie. She’s super nice and knows what she’s doing!

Hallie saved my life! I brought my wedding dress to her 3 months before my wedding. I had bought it off the rack and it was slightly too small. Rather than making me feel pressured to lose weight (like the seamstress I went to previously) she calmly explained that she would take the seams out on the sides. She also fixed the loose beading, created a beautiful french bustle and created a creative solution to my undergarment showing in front and back. She works out of her home, is efficient, prompt and professional. I will absolutely use her again for any alterations or sewing needs!

Hallie altered my wedding dress. She did an amazing job, and even made me a veil with the extra fabric. She is a very talented seamstress. She has also done minor alterations for me, such as fix a zipper on my favorite pair of jeans, and alter the top of a dress that was a little too revealing. Whether the alteration is super simple (zipper) or extremely complicated (wedding dress), she has done a fantastic job in a very timely manner. Highly recommend!

We found Bloomin’ Stitchery on Unilocal.My daughter had a favorite blankie that had whittled away to nothing so we decided to use some fabric we had that matched to make a new blanket. Hallie was very kind, and took her time to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted made. The blanket came out perfect and the prices were very reasonable. Very pleased!

We received her card along with glowing recommendations from Cache at Pioneer Place where we purchased my daughters prom dress. She did a phenomenal job altering it and it was done on time and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend her and have!

I have been a customer of Bloomin’ Stichery for over one year, and continue to be incredibly impressed with the quality of her work, her professionalism, and the time frame in which she completes my alterations, even when it has sometimes been last minute.
The best example I can give of her talents was when I gave her a pattern of a cocktail dress I wanted to have made for a cruise I took last year. It was perfection! She not only ensured it was exactly to my liking, but she was able to make changes to the dress that I wanted, even though they didn’t follow the pattern.
