History

Established in 2006.

Three Rivers is owned and operated by Jim Gates and his wife Shawna. Both were raised locally and are currently raising their three children in Oregon City. Jim started in the deck industry working his way from a carpenters apprentice to General Manger of a large local deck company. After JRW’s change in ownership, Jim decided it was time to follow in a long standing family tradition and start a company of his own. Jim brings a vast background of design, construction and job management skills. His desire to keep Three Rivers a smaller and manageable business will be evident in the company’s high levels of service and quality.

Shawna Gates, «The Boss» — Shawna handles everything from the phones to the books. She schedules consultation appointments for Jim and the sales staff while assisting in communications with the crews.
