Super 8 Beaumont

Best hotel for the price hands down!
This is a hidden gem in Beaumont. I have stayed in four-​star hotels that were not as nice as this one. Spacious room, nice shower and amenities, and friendly staff.
Special shout out to Stacey for making us feel welcome from the moment we checked in! I would definitely stay there again.

Non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. Floors were dirty and linens were stained. Felt like people lived the when they sat in the hallway half dressed for hours watching their clothes dry in the hallway laundry.
It sufficed as a place to crash but I won’t be coming back.

The card key to the room had to be reset every day of the five days that stayed there because it would not let me in the back door into my room. The breakfast was good considering I had a biscuit and sausage patty, but the sausage patty did not seem to be cooked all the way through and the breakfast could have been better if I had some kind of gravy to go along with the biscuits and sausage patty. The ice machine upstairs did not work and I had to go down stairs all the time to get my ice. When I asked the lady at the front desk about the ice machine and she told me the only the downstairs machine worked, I mention to her that they need to have a sign posted on the upstairs ice machine stating to either use the downstairs machine and /​or the machine upstairs is not working. Since I mention that to her on a Tuesday, as of Friday when I checked out there still was no sign on the upstairs ice machine.
