Coco is average bubble tea. It’s better than many bubble tea spots but that’ll all change soon if they don’t improve their store or the quality of the bubble tea. Went tonight with a friend and(I kid you not) they ran out of tapioca balls for the second time in a row! It was only 9 pm! And the week before was the same. I don’t get how they run out of balls.

Coco is just another bubble tea place. I personally like kungfu better but this is probably the best you can get in the Bayside area for now. The milk teas range from 3 to 4 dollars. All toppings are 50 cents each(tapioca, grass jelly, coconut jelly, pudding). Getting a large size normally requires you to pay 1 dollar extra. I wouldn’t recommend any of the latte’s, they literally just taste like milk tea you can make at home…

They should remove this ‘bubble tea’ off their name. They always run out of bubbles. I understood about this problem at first when they open. But they never seem to fix it. Come on, how long you guys have been doing business here? Been waiting in lines for 10mins and ended up saying no bubbles. Well, bye coco.

So far the best bubble tea I’ve had. Frankly I didn’t even know why bubble tea was until I tried it here. Try different things off the menu, pretty much nothing I tried disappointed. I usually stick to Taro bubble tea. It’s a little on the sweet side but still it’s very refreshing and addictive. I knocked off a star for two reasons, the register area where you order and pay is way too tight, you can’t even form a line, all the space in the back is underutilized. In regards to behind the counter operation, what I don’t understand is they have ten customers waiting in line yet they still have one cup sealer. Meaning, they can only make one cup at a time even if there is five people working behind the counter. Second bummer, if you go in the evening the last pieces of bubbles in the pot get considerably smaller if not finished completely. If you don’t mind paying $ 5 for Starbucks then this shouldn’t bother you either. I don’t go to former and this one is an «expensive» taste also, however I’d still spend it here.

Their drinks are good but overpriced compared to other places. This location is rather big compared to the ones in Flushing. There is ample space to sit down and chat with a friend. A lot of seating and tables. The place always smells very good, which is always a good thing. I’ve have had three guys before and it’s always good because I love pudding in my drink. The only thing is that normally if the drink does not include bubbles, you must add extra charge for the bubbles. That’s probably the standard though now. The taste is more authentic compared to Quicklys but not as good as Kung Fu Tea or Shining Tea. Those places have more of a tea-y flavor. It’s alright but I wouldn’t come here especially to get bubble tea because I know better places that are more worth it.

Bubble tea is always expensive, but at least Coco Tea is one of the places that tastes good. The seats are nice and it’s spacious. Asking for no ice may be a good idea, since they fill it with ice normally.

Bubble tea is made swiftly and well! I personally love their matcha red bean drink. Plenty of seats. It’s great because even when it’s busy, it doesn’t get as chaotic as the Flushing branch does. I went recently twice, and the Christmas decorations are very… interesting. If the café reads this review, the snow graffiti on your front window is written from the inside in a way that cannot be read from the outside but from the inside. It’s a little peculiar and funny, so if you’d like to fix it…

So happy that there’s a bubble tea in Bayside! I HATE going to Flushing, too much traffic, and too many people! The place is small, and clean. Staff are decent, and the day I went there, they were playing an awesome playlist. When we asked what playlist this was, they couldn’t really find the words to answer me? Language barrier? I don’t know… Not much else to say really, they have several booths for people to sit and enjoy their drinks. I’ll probably be utilizing this place to get bubble tea to-go. Overall, if you’re a bubble tea lover like me. Give this place a go! *** Have you ever tried hot bubble tea??? It’s SOOO yummy!

I’m glad this location opened up in the Bayside area, but this particular branch is very disappointing. Coco is generally a decent chain, but the various drinks from here, including the Yakult Green Tea(my usual choice) taste cheap and flavorless. This location doesn’t seem to make their drinks taste consistent with the brand. It comes out very diluted, which makes me wonder if they actually add water to the drinks(to save money?). The staff are also not particularly friendly or helpful. Not coming here anymore. Sad because it’s the only bubble tea place in the area.

I love bubble tea but I’m absolutely DISGUSTED with the staff/cashier that work here. I have never wanted to leave a negative Unilocal review before until yesterday. On multiple occasions over the last month, the staff have given my friends and I a hard time redeeming coupons/deals that CoCo themselves promote. They act as if paying respectful customers were an inconvenience. I can let all that go but I cannot let go what happened to us yesterday. Came in early Sunday afternoon and ordered drinks. Cashier begins to roll her eyes and mutter under her breath right in front of us. The best part was when they started complaining under their breath in Chinese complaining about how annoying we were. Perhaps they didn’t think we heard or maybe even understood Chinese. This was completely unprovoked, we didn’t complain or have any issues ordering our drinks. Atrocious way to treat your customers. Additionally, I have filed a complaint through CoCo Corporate.

This is my go to place in Bayside for my bubble tea fix. I like how you can adjust the sugar level and amount of tapioca pearls in your beverage. There is a good selection of teas to choose from and using the Unilocal check in offer you can get $ 0.50 off. I usually do not have to wait a long time to receive my order and there is typically plenty of seating available.

0 stars for the cashier girl with the cat eyeliner. I ordered a jasmine green tea with grass jelly and she tried to give me a drink with milk in it. When I politely told her I ordered the drink without milk, she said«Jasmine green tea means milk green tea. If you want no milk it is just green tea.» She kept saying it wasn’t her fault and continuously rolled her eyes. Miss– I suggest you google the word jasmine and learn a thing or two about customer service. The guy working there was nice and changed our drinks for us. Thank you!

I’m INLOVEWITHDACOCO!!! So Fresh and soooo clean clean!(I can keep going) Nestled on Bell Blvd and Northern Blvd is COCO. I had a craving for bobo tea so I Unilocaled and stopped by. Service was quick and seating was plentiful. I LOVE the chic leather red and green booth seating. So comfy and cute! I ordered the 3 Guys(tapioca, pudding and grass jelly) A tapioca filled orgasm!!! Perfection! Great amount of sweet and FRESH brewed tea u can taste!!! The yellow pudding and Grass jelly gave the tea a dessert feel similar to custard. Very thick and jello like. The person who developed this concept was creative. It was simply delicious! I will be back like Arnold S.

I’m so happy that I found this location for boba tea. I came here quite often during the winter to study. The staff is friendly here and I always check in for that 50 cent off! You can adjust the drink sweetness and all that. Just let them know! The only thing is that i noticed that a lot of kids from the school down the street come here after they’re finished with school. Try to avoid them if you’re trying to study! Kids will be kids and they can be VERYLOUD. It’s all good though. The problem that I had here was that they have a very dirty restroom! I used it once or twice and I never came back… I’m really hoping that this will change because I am the type of person who will judge you by the cleanliness of your restroom! It’s very dirty and stinky… I haven’t been back to their restroom since last year so I can’t really say. This is partially the reason that I took away a star. The other problem I had here was that there is NOWIFI! Nooooooo! But that’s not a big issue for me so whatever. Their drinks are good enough to be forgiven! Come and enjoy their milk tea and enjoy the hot tea with boba in the winter… And check in for that 50 cent off hahaha.

I’ve been really into milk tea lately and I love CoCo! This location is highly on par with the other CoCos in NYC(which is a great thing!) There is plenty of comfortable seating with USB ports for you to charge your phone. However, take note that there’s no wifi here so it’s not really a place to study but rather to sit and chat with a friend or two. I always get the classic CoCo milk tea. I’ve had the Taro here before, but it tastes really powdery and not very good. A woman who ordered before me had complained that her Taro slush tasted powdery as well. Would stay away from Taro flavors here if you’re deciding on what to order!

Staff here aren’t that friendly. Regular milk tea is pretty standard. Passion fruit and mango slush is pretty good. Vanilla milk tea is pretty bad. The place is nice with booths to sit in but the booths are awkwardly installed. You’re like 1 – 1.5′ from the table and if it’s just u and 1 person… you’re awkwardly far apart and leaning to use the table feels weird. Nice to have a coco in bayside to avoid the flushing crowd though.

Queens is a special place. I don’t think you can go 3 miles in any direction within the county without hitting at least one spot that serves bubble(boba) tea.* Was driving through the area and had to get my one true love, in the realm of bubble tea — Taro! A medium half sugar cool taro tea hit the spot. It certainly wasn’t the most flavorful taro drink I’ve ever touched my lips to(I think they went light on the powder), but it still left me with a smile. The tapioca was fresh and chewy, perfect for obnoxious slurping with the giant straws. The iced green tea had to be freshly brewed and not a syrupy tea concentrate like some other«tea» shops use. I’d advise you to take the sugar down a notch if you don’t feel like a giant insulin spike. USB outlets cater to their target demographic. You’ll find one at almost every booth. Someone was a smart businessman(or woman!). Sadly, the bathroom needed some love. Coco, get on that would ya? The entire place is clean, immaculate and gorgeous… while the loo? Uhh– not so much. Bringing up the Unilocal check in offer saved me a easy peasy 50 cents off my tea bill. Hoorah. … * OKAY. Maybe with one exception, the howard beach area. What’s a Guido to do with a drink like that?
