I have actually had proper fish n’ chips in London, as well as southern fried fish. Both of which these reminded me of. The chips are better than the fish, but not by a lot. I will be back soon…

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. Place was a complete mess and food was horrific and drenched in grease. What happened to this place when they first opened up things even tasted better if I have to travel out of town for for fish and chips I will because this place is just sad and pathetic. Waste of time and money!!!

cheap eats. good service, love their fish and chips. they have fried deserts as well. if you like authentic fish and chips, this is a place for you!!!

In the spirit of the cuisine that this place is dealing with I won’t be too critical of the food. It’s street food, served in plastic baskets and styrofoam, and this place does a good job of being true to that concept. Their fish isn’t bad and chips are okay, however I will say, I love mac n’ cheese, but whatever it is they’re breading or whatever it is they’re mixing their mac n’ cheese bites with is rather horrific. It was this sort of crumbly, tart somewhat pasty batter that wasn’t reminiscent of any other kind of «bite» I’ve ever had. Whatever semblance of «mac» or «cheese» may have been a part of that concoction was completely surrendered to this overpowering… other stuff. However getting back to the point, this place is fine for food on the run, stick to the basics and be true to the experience and you’ll be a-​ok.

My favorite place to get my fish and chips! love the food love the staff! Order least 2 times a month for delivery. They always bring me hot food and fast!

Stopped by with my family not knowing what to expect? To our delight we received excellent service with even better food! I would recommend the fishwich and chips if anyone happens to be in Bayonne.

I will never eat here again! I received raw chicken! Not just a little slightly under cooked but REALLY RAW! there are no excuses for straight laziness and disregard for the health of their customers. I called … no answer and the delivery guy said he would try to contact someone and nothing. They ran off with my money and left me with chicken that was basically still laying eggs! Please do not eat here .
I am also adding that the comment below from the owner is true I was delivered a $ 20.00 bill and a piece of paper that said $ 20.00 credit. I was then asked to take down my reviews. When I responded by stating that I did ingest a piece and wouldn’t take anything down until I knew I was in the clear of any food poisoning, I was basically called a lair. If I was a liar, I wouldn’t even give them a chance to rectify the situation and would be on the phone with a lawyer. … not them! It is hard to keep a business or even start one for that matter, but please do not insult me. What is $ 20.00 going to do if I end up in the hospital??? What will that cover? There was no concern for my health. I am sure this is a lesson learned for. And pray that I do not end up going to the E. R this weekend!

Love this place… the wings and clam strips are amazing. The staff is courteous and the prices are very reasonable. Great place for seafood lovers!

Live in north Jersey and after visiting this place, they need to come up north! Owner is super friendly and asked exactly what I liked and made me an order of a mix of everything! Chips are by far the best I tasted in a long time and by the taste of the fish, I can tell they get good quality food.
P. S. Must try the fried oreos!

I know many will write negative reviews when eateries fail to meet expectations, but a couple here seemed a bit harsh for a little store front, counter service, hole-​in-​the-​wall place in the middle of Bayonne. That said, we’re not talking authentic fish & chips straight from the banks of the Thames.
I wondered in here by chance, and was very happy with the double order fish & chips for $ 8.95, I added a side of coleslaw, which too, was tasty. Both fish and chips were hot, crisp and fresh. Yes I ate in, so no delivery issues; but no it wasn’t gourmet (British authentic) either. The taste reminded me of the old Arthur Treacher’s franchises of the 70’s and 80’s, a fond memory of youth.
I found the double order to be a generous portion too for a big appetite guy like myself, which was recommended by friendly counter guy. If ever visiting Bayonne in future, I’d consider dining here again.

I had the fish n chips and was probably the best I ever had… different choices of tarter sauce too.

This place is gross. I love fish and chips, so I was thrilled when they moved in. But this is like the McDonalds of seafood.
Friendly staff, but… yuck.

Let me tell you my previous experience. I ordered chicken and chips, which is suppose to come with honey mustard on the side and I paid extra to have extra honey mustard. They delivered my food in an hour. After they delivered I opened my bag and there was no honey mustard! I was so angry! I called them back to let them know, they had to get a different delivery guy to bring me it and it took another hour to deliver! I ate my food when the delivery guy finally brought me my honey mustard. Now this time, im just disappointed because I ordered the chicken and chips again, but they changed their chicken tenders. The other ones were so much more crispy and tasty than these ones. It’s decent but it’s nit what I expected. This place always manages to disappoint me. However, the desserts, especially the fried cookie dough is super delicious!

First time ordering. Not impressed. At least not by what I ordered and received. I am not a fish eater, so I got an order of the shrimp & chips and chicken & chips with some hush puppies to try. Small pieces of chicken and 7 shrimp in a pile of sliced potatoes. Hush puppies were dense & dry and seemed over-​fried. I don’t know if they’re supposed to be like that or what. They forgot the cocktail & cilantro lime sauce. They owe me $ 1…which I got credited back to my card through their ordering service, Eat24.

Took an hour and a half on a Thursday to get my food. Was cold when I got it. All the fish tasted of powder sugar could not eat most of the fish.
Will not be ordering from them again.

The shrimp sammich was really good. I love their chipotle mayo! It’s a good sauce to add to the chips they have which are pretty good too. I didn’t like the salt thingy they add but luckily they don’t drown them in it :)
