Pes Towing

No Stars for DYNAMIC TOWING. they are horrible. Twice they towed me. I was parked infront of my garage at woodcreek apartments in pleasant hill, the day after i moved in. I was bringing stuff into my apartment and after going back up and down i stayed inside for about 10 minutes tops — and when i went back out the car was gone. It cost me $ 430 to pick it up. They told me they towed it because I was in the fire lane. I had parked in the fire lane the day before with my moving truck and that morning bringing stuff in the house so i didn’t know I would be towed.
It cost me $ 430 to get my car back.
Then tonight i was towed again. I parked — not in the two inch long supposed ‘fire lane’ but infront of my garage. I had just gone to Ross and bought heavy items I needed to carry in. If i parked in the minuature 1 car garage, i wouldn’t be able to get the stuff out so i parked next to the garage so i could open the doors. I brought in the first load, came back and got the second load. I had to put some things in my room which took about 6 – 7 minutes and then i ran back downstairs and my car was gone.
I called them and they said they towed me because I parked in the Fire Lane. I didn’t park in the fire lane. I was gone 5 – 6 minutes and they towed me? I found out later that someone saw the whole thing. The guy was waiting in the dark. Parked in the street and when I went upstairs the second time thats when he took the car. I was told it would be $ 360 to pick it up. Wait — what? not $ 430? Did I get a quantity discount?
They are thieves. They pretty much are stealing your car — legally and then you have to pay them to get it back. How does this benefit the apartment complex? Why are they able to get away with doing this? It is a racket.

Same horrible experience with this place. I don’t know how it is legal for them to stay in business. Even when we went to pick up the car the guy said the price was higher that what was on the posted pricing list. When we asked why he just said that was the price and we had to pay or he would keep the car. How is this not theft? You can’t just go take someone’s car then force them to pay you in order to get it back? If this happens to someone else, I think they should call the cops first. It CANNOT be legal!

This place sucks! Horrible for towing and even worse customer service. And as you can tell by the other reviews they are like a repossession company towing your car away any slim chance they get, they will — so quiet. You don’t even hear them. 0 stars!

I had a similar experience as stated in the other reviews. They towed my car because it was in a «fire lane» but it was not in a fire lane. It was in my parents apartment complex. There was no red curb or fire hydrant or anything of the sort. They charged $ 430 and I wasn’t even at my parents house for more than half an hour. They are so rude and while I was asking them why it was so outrageously high, they said «that’s the price and if you want your car, give us $ 430 or else we have to go». I am so infuriated with them and don’t understand how they are in business!

I had a very bad experience with this company as well and very similar to the previous posts. I parked my car in my friends apartment complex in the guest parking spots. My family and I had parked there at around noon and I went out to my car around 3:30 to get something and it was gone. So I went inside the managers office and said my car is gone, she said it was towed and I said what for, they said they didnt know they dont call the tow company that the tow company just tows cars that are parked illegally. Well I was pissed because I didnt park illegally. According to the signs your car will get towed if you are parked there longer then 24 hours. So the ladies in the office gave me the tow company phone number and when I called they said it will be $ 236! I just couldnt believe it. And that I had to come get my car before 5pm. So I have my friend take me down there, granted I have my daughter, my 5 month old son and my 2 neices with me, and when I get down there its not even a tow yard its a little garage that can hold 3 – 4 cars. I told the man he illegally towed my car and I will compain and take him to court about this he said he has pictures. He just took pictures of the sign and I told him I was not parked there for 24 hours, I had just got there around noon. Also Iam still very pissed off and now this man is agrueing with me about how long I have been there! He’s just really making me so mad so I tell him to stop argueing with me about it and I will see him in court. Then this tow man tells me that if I dont be quiet he will keep my car overnight and it will be double the amount to get out! I just wanted to cry! Finally my fiancée came with the money and we got our car out. There is something really wrong with the way they do business and Iam not surprised there is other compaints. THIS COMPANY TOWS CARS ILLEGALLY AND THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED, IT IS A VIOLATION OF OUR RIGHTS. This just happed a couple days ago and I will write to the Better Business Bureau as well as take this company to court. I expect a full refund and for this company to be shut down.

Someone should explain to this company that towing car illegally is the same thing as stealing. I parked my car outside the back of my house, and spent most the day with my garage open working on stuff for my classroom. I closed the door to go to the bathroom, and by the time I went to the bathroom and then came back to open the car door, I could hear him hitching my car to the tow truck. As the door opened the driver raised my car. I live on private property and he was supposedly told by my HOA to tow the cars (there were at count SEVEN other cars) parked behind houses.
I admit to being a bit on the hysterical side (I didn’t have 80 dollars for him to put my car down…) but at no point should the driver have EVER called me Honey. As is «Honey you should have read the sign…» or «It’s 80 now, or 120 when you get it from the yard Honey» When I finally lost my patience and told him my name wasn’t Honey he said «what should I call you Ma’am?»
I called and spoke to the «boss» who never apologized for Danielle calling me Honey, never explained how he had the right to come on private property to tow my car, never explained why the driver never picked up anyone else’s car in the complex, etc.
It is not the point that they put the car up to tow (which frankly, he should have put down and said something «ma’am you aren’t supposed to be parking here, and next time I’ll tow you») it’s the fact that he was SO condescending and RUDE when addressing me and my neighbors that I find completely unacceptable.

Had a horrible experience with this company.
Driver towed my car outside of apartment complex before securing straps (illegal, straps must be secured first). He did it so he could quickly slip away with my car and secure them on the street, out of view.
I stopped him in on the street, he would not give me my car, pulled over to the side and called the police alleging I had assaulted him (no such thing done, just a way for me to leave, his word vs mine).
PES ended up towing my car to Antioch, from Concord, not their Bay Point facility (again, against the law, over X amount of miles from tow location).
Speaking with their guy on the phone we had agreed on one price, when we arrived the price was significantly higher and the same person I talked with on the phone told me, in my face, while looking in my eyes, that he had never spoken to me or anyone about this tow.
When I brought it up he said something along the lines of «Oh, this guy wants to play hard, lets see if we can keep his car longer». At that point they started checking insurance/​registration/​name/​address for any reason to keep my car an extra day (they didn’t).
I filed a BBB complaint in which the drive made more outrageous allegations. I hope this company gets shut down/​arrested.
