Reflector

I really don’t like this newspaper. The editor is extremely opinionated and they seem to make a big deal out of the strangest events.
I understand the point of local journalism, but this newspaper seems rather unprofessional.
They also need to work on their writing. It feels like I am reading the work of an 8^th grader. Their topics aren’t researched well enough, so it leads to bland and repetitive writing that doesn’t capture the attention of the reader.
Again, I have nothing against local papers. This one just needs to shorten the amount of pages they produce and focus on better writing — not more writing. News can be presented in a very interesting and captivating way of you write the article well — no matter what you are reporting on.
Hope to see some changes in the future. Until then, I have to give them two stars for their poor writing.

Yes Virginia there is real local news! I was looking for smaller periodicals to post an ad locally and had not seen the local newspaper. I’m newer to the area of Vancouver and as such am in familiar with what’s around. I got an issue of the Reflector and was very pleasantly surprised at the content. I found Jussi what I was looking for and contacted the ad department. I also discovered that they have access to a full service printing company for a banner I needed to order also. They were very courteous and the prices were modest!
I would recommend them to anyone for business needs and advertising. The staff was super kind and knowledgeable.

As the only source for local activity. And comunity events, I guess is fine. Nothinng really impresive in this paper

This is a well read paper in the local area. Advertising is worthwhile and i enjoy adding it as well.

A good free home town newspaper that comes out weekly. They cover local news and events. We enjoy reading this paper.
