History

Established in 1991.

Pop-​A-​Lock Baton Rouge opened in 1991 as a «Car Door Unlocking Company» and introduced Pop A Lock’s signature Emergency Car Door Unlocking (EDU) service as a free public service to the Baton Rouge Metro Area. Later, company services expanded to roadside assistance services and automotive, residential and commercial locksmith services. Today, Pop-​A-​Lock of Baton Rouge continues to be one of the most successful franchisees in the Pop-​A-​Lock system. The majority of our 16+ employees are licensed locksmiths and the company still provides EDUs as a free public service.
