Hammond Aire Auto Spa

I was really disappointed in my car detail today. I got the deluxe works or whatever the best option was for about $ 35 (car price) which isn’t bad. Everyone was very friendly and quick, but they missed a ton of spots on my car (see photos.) When I got in the car, it felt really grimes like everything was coated in armor all (maybe that’s normal) but also everything was real smudged up. The outside looks good but even the tires don’t look great. I’ll try Benny’s or H2O next time :/​I’ll come back here but only for basic stuff.

This is the absolute worst car wash in the world. They misrepresented that they would armor-​all the tires and didn’t. They forgot the air freshener that we asked for. They took paper towel that was on floor and put it in the center console.

I went to Hammond Aire Auto Spa not by choice, but because I had work done on my car after an accident and it needed cleaning and that is where the body shop sent me to have it cleaned at their cost. There was something resembling oil stains on the seats, which was my main concern, so Hammond Aire was going to clean the upholstery. After a very long wait (2 hours) I was given my car. When I got in it was still filthy. It was supposed to be washed and cleaned as well as the upholstery shampooed. There was dust everywhere, especially on my windows, and most importantly, the stains on my seat were partially still there. Next time I am going to Benny’s across the street at my cost. It will be worth it.

I must say that my experience could have been a lot better.
First, the entire reason I’d gone was to get my floor mats shampooed because I’d spilled something on one of them. After waiting in line for over 15 minutes, I pulled up only to be told that detailing had been shut down for the day since they were shorthanded. A sign stating that would’ve been nice so I could’ve pulled out of line and come back another day.
Second, the work I did have done was just not very thorough. Each time I’ve gotten into the car in the 2 days since my visit, I’ve noticed spots that they missed. The insides of my cup holders weren’t touched, there is a ton of dust on the underside of my emergency brake (which was engaged while they were working on it, making that area accessible), my A/​C vents are still dusty, the areas between the front seats and the center console still contain dirt and debris, etc.
Third, the rags they used left lint all over the place. The windows are covered in lint, and some of the areas where they wiped, like parts of my dash board, are also covered in lint.
I think I’ll just try the Benny’s across the street the next time I need my car cleaned.
