Benny’s Car Wash & Oil Change

This is the worst car wash ever! Paid $ 70 for a detail and my car was still filthy! Dirt in every crack, hadn’t wiped the runner boards on doors, hadn’t cleaned the cup holders, dust on the AC vents, dirt under the floor mats, it was absolutely ridiculous!!! I had to wait 30 mins for the manager Gary to quit talking with his friend, and then when I showed him the car he was very unapologetic! He said they don’t clean the cup holders, center console, door pockets, or glove box because they respect their customers privacy and belongings! He also said the dirt was a stain that wouldn’t come off, so I wiped off with my finger. He has the nerve to tell me it’s because their chemicals had soaked in a loosened it. So they put my car behind everyone else’s and made me wait an hour for it to be clean. After all that the cars was still filthy! All they did was pour armour all every where and smear it around!!! No wiping up the dirt first just pouring greasy armour all on it and smearing it everywhere I rubbed my finger around the cup holder and it was black! I asked for a refund and they kicked me out!!! They said the car was too dirty to be fully cleaned for only $ 70 but wouldn’t let me upgrade they said I would have to buy an entire new detailing!!! This was a small BMW by the way it’s not like it was a f150 that had been out mudding! Worst car wash ever next time I’m just going to find a local high school having a fund raiser car wash at least they have the decency to not charge $ 70 for a shit car wash!

The mechanics didn’t screw on the protective shield on the undercarriage of my car all the way. Over the past week, the screws have almost all come off and the shield was hanging and dragging on the street.
They also market their oil change at $ 30, but that doesn’t even include oil. With the price of the oil, it ends up being double that for a small SUV. They will not be getting my service again.

Worst customer service ever. The woman doing the state inspection is one of the rudest people I have ever met and I have taught public high school for the past 15 years! Do NOT waste your time or money at this place unless you enjoy being treated like crap.

Warning to all! My pistol was stolen from my glove box while getting oil change/​wash at the Essen Ln. Benny’s. Owner/​Manager/​Employees not very helpful. Deputy investigating said most cameras at location did not work, making it impossible to locate the thug who stole it.

Go-​to spot for my interior clean. I can’t say it is the end-​all-​be-​all car wash, but they do a decent job and have a nice waiting area with free popcorn;) I give it three stars since I have had a couple of days where they «wow» me and others where you can tell they hurried through.

«Car wash, express wash, car waxing». I have always received great customer service from Benny’s Car Wash from the moment I pull up to the time I receive my vehicle. My most recent experience with them was when I purchased the «Benny’s Best Combo», which was the $ 70 detail. Believe me, my poor baby needed it. I have had a full-​day detailing job on a car done before for a $ 100+ at another car detailing shop and Benny’s did a far better job in a fraction of the time. I asked the young lady at the customer service counter how long the job would take and she said about 1.5 hours. For me, that was good timing and of course, did not mind at all. They were done within an hour, which surprised me because they seemed to have a long line of customers. The reason for the 4-​star rating was because it would be nice for them to have a supervisor to check the vehicles before they are ready to be given back; give a final inspection/​wipe down. Once they told me my car was ready, I pulled it out of the way, so other cars could get through the bay and one of the attendants asked me if all was okay. I told them that I wished there were certain spots they attended to before giving me back my car. It was no big deal really, but for the price I paid, those interior sections should have been cleaned. So, he was super nice and fixed up those leftover problem spots for me. After all was done, I was on my way with a shiny, clean car again. I have never owned a black-​colored vehicle before and did not realize the TLC these cars need on the exterior.
Overall, I was very happy with the results of my car and the stellar customer service that Benny’s Car Wash provided!

I’m not surprised by the low ratings Benny’s has, I have been disappointed in the past, but the experience I had there today inspired me to sign up for Unilocal and write my first review. I think they got a new manager. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. I got a hand wax at the recommendation of the thoughtful greeter fella in the booth. Only once they started wiping it down it became apparent that the clear coat had worn off much of the surface and the paint was rubbing off. Being unfamiliar with this issue or how best to contend with it, weighing cost and value, the manager seemed to genuinely consider my situation and helped me make a decision as though he just wanted a happy customer. He then proceeded to, as far as I could tell, personally buff my car and ultimately gave me a higher value cleaning than I paid for, just for my troubles. My car looks fantastic and I couldn’t be happier with the service. 5 stars!

This place is cheap and you get what you pay for. Might as well hand wash your car. Definitely do not recommend it. It was just too cold to hand wash the car.

Had oil change and transmission flush. I was misled by service manager that said both services would be done at the same time. My car was moved to another bay. Oil change was delayed, many other cars went ahead. Transmission flush was another 25 minutes. It took more than an hour and certainly more time than I had. I was a long term customer. Never coming back.

Always good for the 3.00 quick wash. Self serve and cleans up the exterior pretty good and its always open

Never going back there again. I think it’s too risky.
This place uses those strips and it got caught in my wiper blades and twisted it. A $ 3 car wash cost me $ 100 dollars in new wiper blades!

My daughter went to get her brand new Toyota Sienna Van washed here today, and while we were in the wash, the machine, damaged and pulled off her rear bumper. Then, the guy tried to tell her that there was some damage to it before she went into the wash. Thank God the adjuster was on site and intervened and said that they would fix it. Had he not been there, I guess they would have tried to get out of it. Come to find out, they had a meeting that very morning and discussed how the Sienna van’s were a problem and that the machine would run into the bumper. WHAT??? Then, why did they let her go in to start with. I will NEVER use this place!!! She hasn’t even paid the first note on it and it is already damaged!!!
