Lone Star Air Duct and Chimney

So, I’m riding in a car — as a passenger, mind you — down 290, and this truck is swerving all over the place, speeding up, slowing down, and generally driving like a moron. I figure, instead of calling the police, because ftp, maybe it would be nice to let the business know that their truck is being used in a, well, not-​very-​professional manner. (Side note: considering this was on the way to plan my little brother’s funeral, who recently passed away in a car accident, I’ll admit that I may have been acting a little out of character by caring enough to call in the first place. But I digress…)
So I call the number on the back of the truck — the same number you can see on this business listing — and some good ‘ol boy answered. The conversation went something like this:
Me: Hi. I’m on 290, and one of your trucks appears to be being driven by a crazy person, and I thought it would be nicer to call you than the cops.
Him: [laughing] Okay. Well, it’s not very smart to make a phone call while you’re driving. *click*
So, yeah. Real professional. Undeniably «high class».

Absolutely perfect! My teenage son has been getting sick a lot lately and we have 2 big dogs so I figured it was time for a cleaning.
My initial call was returned within 10 minute of a message and the quote I received was priced just right. Thankfully, they had a spot available to fit me in the next day! They showed up exactly on time, equipped and ready to work. We did a quick walk through, I asked a few questions and they got to it! I asked about the quote received and was told again, same rate as quoted — I asked just in case it might change. Nope, not one bit! After a minute or two of service it dawned on me to ask about dryer vent cleaning, rate and if they had time. Yes! Right price and he did it immediately! The crew was outstanding, pleasant and worked quickly and efficiently. I had no idea how dirty my ducts were! Most of the mess was mitigated by the tarp/​draping they put down to protect my bed, computer area, etc. And what little mess they made, it was cleaned up immediately. I will definitely recommend to friends and use again in a few years when we need them again! Wow! A+ for service, A+ for price.

Dave is a very nice and professional guy. I’m due to have a new washer & dryer delivered in a couple of weeks and wanted the dryer vent cleaned out before they came. He told me the vent was pretty clogged and I had all the lint «snowing» down off of the roof to prove it! :) He was in and out of here within 20 minutes! I HIGHLY recommend him!

Quick, experienced and effective. He knew exactly what he was doing and I could tell the difference immediately after he left. He also gave me some good tips on other household fixes. As good as it gets! Call this place!

I purchased an air duct cleaning special for $ 300 from Lonestar Air Duct and Chimney through Angie’s List. This price covered two a/​c systems and 20 vents.
Most companies who clean air ducts (e.g., carpet cleaning companies) have terrible reviews. This particular company, however, has stellar reviews on Angie’s List, so I thought I would give him a try. He did not disappoint. He arrived on time. He took his time with the cleaning (approximately 2 hours) and did a very thorough job. He did not try to upcharge me on mold, like so many other companies do. He did find mold on some of my a/​c vents, showed it to me, cleaned them, and replaced them.
I plan to hire him again in the future to sweep my chimney and will definitely recommend this company to my friends.
With air duct cleaning, remember that you get what you pay for.

David with Lonestar is high class! We’d been badly burned by another fly-​by-​night air duct cleaning company, so we called David to come clean our ducts. I was pregnant and having terrible allergies, and he came out and cleaned the ducts (which had been barely touched at all by the first company) and did it all for a reasonable price. I am breathing much easier now and am so appreciative!
