Very clean. Good yogurt & nice people. Mango Sorbetto is the best of the best. Open in the winter. Great place to go after skiing. Take advantage and enjoy!

I may have been too harsh, too soon. After an Italian-themed lunch at Down Valley Tavern, we were craving the fresh-cool of frozen yogurt, so we went back to Mauka. We had a much better experience this second time around — a friendly greeting, no hassle with the punch card minimum order«rule», and yogurt that tasted better than the first time. We both did try different flavors and liked them much more than the original ones we selects. So we are A-OK with Mauka!

This stuff is great! Naturally sweetened and many unique flavors. On a hot day there is not much better than salted caramel and chocolate twist!

I am so happy that Mauka has opened in Willits and even happier because the frozen yogurt is truly awesome! After living in Atlanta for four years, we were spoiled by the Yogurt Tap in Decatur(all natural, live cultures, hand made, milk from cows not treated with antibiotics or growth hormones, etc). Every other tart, self serve yogurt place I have ever visited bordered on disgusting, made from pre-bagged concentrated goo shipped from a central facility, packed with artificial flavor, color, sweetener, and bulking fillers(Pinkberry, Red Mango, Yogurtland, Menchies: I am looking right at you). I practically jumped up and down to discover that Mauka’s yogurt is naturally flavored, naturally sweetened, nothing artificial, contains live cultures, and is even non-GMO sourced. THIS is what frozen yogurt is supposed to taste like! I love their plain tart(perfect balance of tart and sweet), chocolate, and coconut and really like the peanut butter as well(I haven’t tried any of the fruit flavors because they are not my bag, but my husband really liked what he had). Mauka’s frozen yogurt is, in a word, delish. My only wish would be to figure out a way of making the frozen yogurt without guar gum or texture enhancing additives, but as long as I can’t taste them, I’m fine with it. The run down: A wall of variously flavored, self-serve frozen yogurt dispensers in a clean, brightly colored space. Each dispenser has an ingredient list for its flavor, nutritional information, and a complete allergy notice(thank you!). There is a cooler table of toppings to add to the yogurt goodness(kudos for being clean and tidy). You pay by the ounce. I really hope people spread the word about this place, because I think it is an awesome and much needed addition to the Roaring Fork Valley!
