My family, party of 15 had dinner here tonight. Our server Kelsey was the best, kind and efficient! We all enjoyed our food from appetizers to dessert and coffee. Thanks for making our night great!

The rolls and the pie are amazing. I think I would come here just to get pie. But I also really liked the chicken pot pie(okay well I guess that’s a pie too haha), sweet potato fries, and the tater tot fondue. The menu selection is really good. If you aren’t sure what to order, asking the servers works really well here because they know what’s good.

Great food, hot soup, massive French dip, free pie Wednesday! Based on our lunch for three plus a takeout, I will rate this as five stars for the category they are in, which is restaurant/bar franchise chain. The French dip was advertised as having ½ pound of beef. I didn’t bring a scale with me, but there was no need to question the amount of meat present. The beef was really tasty, and nice thick slices, without being fatty. The beef broth was hot and tasted great. The potato soup was almost still simmering, and was a very generous size bowl considering I just ordered it as a side to accompany my sandwich. We ordered the combo appetizer with the fried cheese, chicken strips, and potato skins. This is a perfect finger food appetizer to share. $ 11 may be a little much though. Others ate a catfish plate, and a shrimp fettuchini. I didn’t see the takeout order. Everything looked good, was hot, and delivered quickly and together. The waiter reminded us that pies are free on Wednesday, so we all ordered a slice. Best of all, it was the boss’s turn to buy!

A rather awful experience I shall say, and this is coming from a fan of most O-Charley’s This one used to be awesome, with quick service and food that… arrives. But that was a long time ago, when I was younger, and before I had a Unilocal to review this place with. But without further ado, I should start this review, but before I do, I recommend you just save the money and the time and go to the one in Cordova or Southhaven. Seating. Probably the fastest thing they had that day, and it was still sort of slow. it took us them a little while to find an unoccupied table or booth, and when our booth was finally ready, we were so relieved. I threw my hands in the air… i was ready for that good old O’Charley’s experience. Little did I know, the nightmare had just begun… Sanitation. The bathrooms were clean, and everything seemed to work to proper expectations. The booth was okay, I had to dust the littles of crumbs off of my seating area, but it wasn’t too much of a flaw in sanitation. Service. Service alone could nearly justify this review. Service at O’Charley’s had always been decent to great and wasn’t slow, often having my glass filled to the top when a refill was needed, and back then, it wasn’t often that you needed a refill… now…well…it was below average service, and my expectations were wrong… Service was sloppy, with drinks not filled up all the way, and our waitress never really stopped to aid us when we were always in desperate need of a refill. We had to get her attention multiple times, and they were just slower than a turtle that had just stepped in an ocean of glue. I can’t say that this place had anything close to decent service. Food. …mm m mmm.(Shakes head) This was by far a disaster beyond all limits. My food actually tasted good, but the arriving… wow! Okay, I ordered… they said it would be out soon after i asked after a half hour. it wasn’t out soon. it took nearly an hour and a half for them to come out and tell us that they were experiencing difficulties in the kitchen areas. We waited another fifteen minutes and we didn’t really feel like staying and eating anymore, so when it finally came out, we got it in a 2Go box. I ate it when I got home, and the taste reminded me of what the place once was. The place was once great, but their quality has lowered since i’d last visited years before. If you asked me 4years ago, I would have told you to go to this one, but now, my mind has came to a change. One Star…

Evening service, and St Louis style ribs was good. Sat next to people from Chicago, NYC, and Atlanta. Bar was typical mid-week crowd… manager made sure everyone was pleased!

I’m from Bartlett and have been going to this O“Charley“s for about 15 yrs. It has always been a little on the down side service wise. In the past, the food has been good but the service was a little mediocre at best. Today, however, has taken the cake. I placed a To Go order at about 4:00PM. Nothing complicated, potato skins and fried cheese wedges. I showed up about 15 mins later and was OK with the fact that it wasn’t ready since I had been told it would take 20. It wasn’t the waiting at the front for about 15 – 20 mins being told that I should wait and they would bring my order out that got me. It was the watching the front end help socializing, using the phone and walking back and forth, going outside to do I don’t know what while doing nothing productive in my opinion that really rubbed me the wrong way. The killing blow was that after I waited what seemed like 20 mins I had had enough. I walked to the bar and asked the bartender if one of the To Go orders setting on the bar was mine. She answered that she didn’t know it depended what my name was. The pity of it all is that this store just spent what appears to have been six figure money if not seven on capitol improvements in the last year or so. What hasn’t changed apparently is the management. While to the on duty manager’s credit he was walking around picking up trash off the floor, he certainly wasn’t, in my opinion, running this restaurant up to O’Charley’s typical standards.

The food is still sub par at best. And I don’t know why there is a wait for a restaurant half full. Tyler our server gave good service despite another table next to us complaining about their food being late. 3⁄5 for the experience

Just an awful experience. The service was slow and inattentive. The food was unremarkable, except for the macaroni and cheese, which was so bad my seven year old would not eat it — and the kids’ cheeseburger which gave my ten year old what appears to have been food poisoning. Never again.

Awful service. No team work. No prebussing. No actual management. No drink refills. Embarrassing. Sad, I used to love this place. Food is still good, when you get it. They were dead at dinner rush, now I know why.

The food is pretty good my boyfriend and I use to frequent this location however the service is terrible, to say the least. We went on a Wednesday afternoon, not many customers were there so we thought we’d be in and out pretty quick, WRONG! It took 10 plus minutes to get seated and that was after five different employees had passed us without even acknowledging our presence, I finally had to stop one of the servers as she was leaving a table to ask if there was a hostess or should we seat ourselves. Although there weren’t many customers it took waaaay to long to get our food. I asked for the manager and let him know that I don’t know what’s happened here, but I would not be visiting that location again! The other two locations on Germantown Pkwy and further down Highway 64 are awesome though! Try the Cajun shrimp pasta

Went because I received a few coupons in the mail. The Burger was big but pretty bland(Bacon Cheddar). I think I’ll try something else when I use my other coupon. My husband had the pot roast and the buffalo chicken strips and it looked a lot better than what I was eating. Children’s menu has a nice variety, including sides. They also offer Military discount.

I really enjoy O’Charley’s for a nice lunch or dinner before a movie, when you don’t feel like spending too much. And that’s the main reason why I go – the prices aren’t bad. I’d compare it to Chili’s, but I feel like there are more selections that I enjoy. Not everything is fried — I usually like to get the California Chicken Salad, which has grilled chicken instead of fried, strawberries, mandarin oranges, and dried cranberries — hold the pecans. It’s a family-friendly place, and is usually bustling when I stop in. The service has always been good and if you have food allergies, you can go on-line and check out their allergen list, which will tell you what common allergens are contained in each menu item so you can plan before you go. Bonus.

When my wife and I were dating we used to go to this location almost on a weekly basis. We usually had the same waitress and she knew us by name. That was back in 1999. Since then this location has gone way down hill. While we still visit this location every once in a while(in hopes that it will be better than the last visit) we get poor service each time. The service is extremely slow. On our last visit we had to wait almost five to eight minutes for my daughter to get a cup of milk. I’m not one that really needs to be checked on every three minutes throughout my meal. All I ask is that you make sure that my cup is never empty, bring the food when it’s ready, and bring me my check promptly. Unfortunately, this location consistently fails in each of these categories. We seem to have a much better experience at the Wolfchase location.
