My wife and I were at the range shooting and were both getting pretty hungry and decided to try out this place. Her boss has raved about the chicken quesadilla so why not give it a try. As we often do we decided on two different items and thought we would just each have a little of both. I think we should have gone with the quesadilla as the sandwiches we got were just okay. They seem to use lower end meats but they aren’t bad. It’s pretty much what I would expect at a gun range deli. The lemonade was good, different, but good. We each wish they would have french fries to go with the sandwiches and maybe even have a hamburger on the menu, but its understandable with a small deli. Overall, it’s okay for a range day and to get some food in you for some energy. I think next time I am going to try the chicken quesadilla.

After shooting some targets with my favorite guy, protein was in order. Had the Old Glory, roast beef, horseradish, provolone and mayo on a toasted pannini roll, got mine with a side of chips(no fries on the menu) and a Dr. Pepper. It was okay for gun range food. They give a military discount. Food was delivered right to our table. Love the gun displays and the flags.

This is a hidden café deli in the gun range near Whitten/summer. The plate lunch menu usually features 2 to 3 entrées that changes daily/weekly. They have daily plate lunch specials like meat loaf, Cajun chicken pasta, brisket and burgers. They also have a menu that is mainly deli sandwiches. The John Hancock is really good with bacon, roast beef, lettuce, tomato provolone and mayo. The macncheese was okay, but it lacked salt and needed pepper and more cheese; however, it is homemade. A great place for lunch and to buy a gun! They also have date night that includes firing lane, dinner and ammo.

1776 would be a great restaurant in a standalone location. The fact that it is located inside one of the best indoor firearm and tactics training ranges in the United States makes it even better! One of my favorite things is «Date Night». This weekly event allows you to come to the restaurant and purchase two meals, ammunition, and range time at a reduced price. The food is delicious. They have wonderful sandwiches as well as «meat and three vegetable» plates. If you don’t go for date night, you can enjoy their wonderful lunches or dinners. My personal favorite is the Wednesday lunch. This is the day that they normally serve beef brisket. This brisket is fantastic and almost always falls apart in your mouth. I highly recommend that you try the restaurant for lunch. Show up early around 11 o’clock and you’ll have a much speedier departure as the restaurant really comes alive and get packed around noon. You can even call your order in ahead of time by phone.
