Service writer was quick and responsive to my needs. When it was discovered that it may take a while to find and repair, he quickly had me a loaner and I was on my way. When the car was ready a call came and I returned with loaner and picked up the repaired vehicle all cleaned and ready to go. Quick, easy and user friendly. Love the Werks and their Werkers (workers)

I am truly disheartened that Motorwerks has continued to provide such inadequate service for our vehicle. We live 5 minutes from Patrick Cadillac and bought from Motorwerks because of their reputation.
The fact that someone at your dealership could break something so sentimental AND try to hide it is beyond reprehensible. It makes me question every single item your dealership has touched on my car. If your dealership has such little respect for my personal property — how do I know they are fixing my car properly? This item was HAND CRAFTED by a Marine mom in Okinawa, Japan. That alone upsets me. Hiding it and hoping I wouldn’t say anything? I’m truly speechless.
Your technician couldn’t even get the menial parts back in correctly. The start engine button is crooked and the labeling for the shifter is crooked. I’m scared to look at the work under the hood.

I entered this dealership today, TOTALLY messy wind blown hair, mid 50’s, yoga attire. In 10 minutes here, neither of the salesmen said a word to me. One looked up and returned to his pc screen. I wandered for a moment more and then decided THIS dealership was not worth my time or money (which was already pre-​approved). Walgreens staff is better at greeting customers than this team.

To say that we had a great experience at MotorWerks would be an understatement. My wife and I had intentions to only test-​drive multiple vehicles last Friday and we ended up never leaving your Cadillac dealership in Barrington. Josh Koch was amazing and the sole reason we purchased an SRX and our first Cadillac on Friday. My experience with Josh was the first time I felt comfortable and not pressured by a salesman. He truly cared about what was important to us and he was able to relate to us both very easily. Josh will be our go-​to-​guy for everything car related going forward. We are very excited about being a part of the MotorWerks family, which started with our new relationship with Josh.
Let me not forget to mention that our new Cadillac is so nice. I think I may be a life time Cadillac owner.

Absolutely horrible treatment and customer service by the Cadillac Service Department. In fact my car is still not fixed and the trust is broken. Cannot express how disappointed and disgusted we are by the new management. We are long time customers of Motorwerks 16 years and over 18 cars in just my immediate family alone not counting all the referrals over the years by friends and family. This is not Kia, this is a luxury brand and customers should be treated with respect and courtesy… Obviously the new management did not get the memo.

Went to look at a used vehicle here and found the experience hilarious. The car had been at another Motor Werks dealer for a few months and didn’t sell, so they traded it to this dealer. Listed at a high price even for perfect condition, I was still interested in the car. According to the sales manager «perfect condition» includes bald tires and a poorly-​repainted door. I was offered many thousands below market value on my trade in, and the high price on the car barely came down. I left and tried to contact them the next day to make a deal, but my calls went unanswered and unreturned. I was so flustered, I decided to spend more money on a different vehicle from another dealer. And now, more than a month later, that Audi Q5 at Motor Werks Cadillac is still sitting but at $ 1k less than what I was willing to pay :) And my trade in? I received $ 2500 more than Motor Werks Cadillac offered. At least the people were nice, if not overconfident about the pricing. And the dealer is small, dated, etc. Hopefully they will move to a more fitting location soon.

I was initially told by staff that the used Mercedes I was in the process of buying had no major issues and that the Motor Works mechanics had verified that everything was in working condition. As a precaution, I opted to have the vehicle inspected by another dealership, which cost me $ 350 for a full 2hr review of the vehicle. The inspection uncovered that the vehicle I was going to purchase had a blown head gasket, the air conditioner was blowing worm air, the motor mounts and ball joints needed immediate replacing and there were other major suspension issues that were also in need of immediate repair. So Motor Werks really misstated the condition of the auto I was about to buy and I am out $ 350.
Needless to say, I did not purchase the vehicle. The car will probably be sold to someone else who will end up with «major» problems. This could be a single bad event, not representative of the dealership as a whole… but how do you think the «used car» industry rates so low on the honesty scale. Think about what I am saying. Motor Works literally stated in writing to me that their in house Mercedes mechanic found everything in working order… no issues with the car. Really!!!

My service experience at this dealership has always being great. They do a good job. The ambient environment needs to be improved. The guest waiting area looks and feels like what you see in a strip mall garage

I’ve purchased several cars from Motor Werks Cadillac of Barrington — not only is their sales team awesome — their service group is better than any! I intend to keep purchasing my autos from them!

I was completely satisfied with my vehicle purchase. No hard sale. Very, very fair price for a quality pre owed vehicle. These folks don’t carry or sell you junk. Just about all the used cars I saw were one owner trade in with all the documentation to back it up. The sales staff makes you feel welcomed without that artificial politeness. I live in Buffalo Grove and was a little concerned with the distance to the dealership, my advice is drive the extra mile, these folks will make it worth your while!

I had an OK experience buying a used Mercedes from this dealership, but I have to say I felt very sleazed up and greased up both during and after the sales process. For starters, the car — which I admit was in good shape — was greased up from stem to stern on all surfaces in order to appear cleaner, newer and more appealing — but once the snake oil wore off, the dull, even scuffed, surfaces emerged once again. The dealer swore up and down that the brakes had 80% life left on them, but after 5,000 miles of driving I not only had to change the rear pads but the rotors as well, since they had been worn out due to the worn-​out pads. Our salesman, Ron K, was OK, but the sales manager was condescending and borderline rude, making me leave in a huff, only to come back a week later after we finally got an agreement on the price — and ONLY because the car I was buying is rare enough that only this dealer had it. Overall, I think other places will offer lower pricing, an easier and friendlier process, and less snake oil feel.

My husband and I went here on Saturday in DIRE need of a car, as in we needed to leave our 2001 Ford Focus there are drive off in a car under 60,000 miles, totally financed, and in the 10K range (not an easy task to find a car in this range and in this condition). We worked with Mike Vilchik (such an awesome guy) and looked at a variety of used cars. They gave us an AMAZING deal for our trade in (really padded the value and did us a favor because we were short on cash) and we walked out in a 2004 Toyota Camry, with 63,000 miles, totally financed. They took car of everything! They even filled up the gas tank and cleaned the car. The owner, Jeff, sat and talked to us for over a half hour about his family and personally gave us a business card. Told us that if anything was wrong with the car to make sure to call him or he would take it personally. I have NEVER had such an enjoyable experience at a car dealership. Jeff and Mike were the absolute best. AND they even fed us lunch!!! Seriously, I am so impressed. As a woman in her late 20’s I felt like my dad was with me trying to find the safest most affordable car to drive. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this dealership and their staff!!!

I cannot say enough great things about this dealership! Going car shopping as a girl is a nightmare! I went to several other dealerships and the sales people were rude, pushy, and did not listen to what I wanted. I worked with Mike Vilchik and he was probably the nicest and most knowledgeable sales person I have ever met. He showed us cars that were only in our price range, helped to arrange our financing options, and explained in detail every feature of each of the cars we were looking at. I know I got a great deal on the car, and this is the only dealership I that I will be coming back to for any future car purchases. All of the staff including the manager could not have been nicer or more helpful, I had such a great experience here and would recommend Mike and this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car.
