Established in 1974.
The Barrington Ice Arena is a premier family ice sports complex in Lake County. The facility was built in september 1974 and was renovated in November 1999, and now includes a full 85×200 ice surface. The facility can seat up to 400 people for any event, and also has four team locker rooms and one referee locker room. Barrington Ice Arena features a full service pro shop and a party/meeting room. The facility tenants include the Barrington Redwings Hockey Organization, Barrington High School, and Lake Zurich High School. Programs include hockey leagues and lessons, isi and usfsa figure skating, public skating, drop-in hockey, freestyle sessions, birthday parties and special events. The Barrington Ice Arena is a part of the advanced arenas company network.
