Great food! Pizza is delicious. Only drawback is it’s cash only but there are plenty of ATM’s around and the food is worth it!

If you are looking for pasta in Baraboo, this is the place to go. Reasonable prices and good service in a central location. I would say that the pizza is good, but not all that differentiated(there are better local pizza options.)

We were in the area from Chicago and being that it was a cold day and not really in the mood to go back out into the cold from a day at an indoor pool, took a look for nearby places that delivered. This place was ranked pretty good so I called and noone answered. The answering machine picked up and they dont even have a professional greeting… just the generic«we are not available greeting» that comes with the answering machine… its a Saturday night at 7 pm. supposedly they close at 9. I wish I had gotten the opportunity to check them out. the reviews and pictures look enticing. but the unprofessionalism of not having a message to at least advise they closed early or even a professional business greeting notifying the name of the establishment was a deal breaker

My husband and I went here for supper tonight. It was excellent. Nice employees. Great service. Owner stopped by our table and asked how our meal was. We had pizza, salads and a Steak Milanese entre. Salads came with huge garlic knots. Great food. Large portions. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again.

Wonderful food, great service, at a reasonable price, what more could you ask for? I wished I lived there so I could visit more often!

Hidden gem in Baraboo! My brother and I went here the other day for lunch and it was so tasty. I wanted to order everything off the menu but used self-control(super difficult in a restaurant full of carbs)! My brother had the meat Stromboli which was heavenly and so flavorful. Not going to lie, I was a tad jealous of his meal. The dough is hands down amazing and all homemade. I ordered the cheese tortellini with their homemade alfredo and marinara sauce combo. WOW, it was the best recommendation from the owner(thank you!). With my entrée, I received a side salad and had their homemade salad dressing which was so simple but a burst of awesomeness! Oh and did I mention, I also received a garlic knot… yep, another stellar delight. All of this food for $ 11 and I had plenty of leftovers. The owner was so incredibly friendly and super chatting but not in an annoying way. She recognized my brother and was asking about his wife and then got to know me a bit. This place acted like what I imagined the bar, Cheers, to be like. Really recommend you come here and check out this cute Italian restaurant. P. s. bring cash as their debit/credit card machine was not working.

pretty good pizza, made with fresh ingredients. the pizzas are HUGE! we got a large meat lover’s(can’t remember the exact name, but pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon) and not one of us could put down more than a single slice. which meant we went home with 5/8ths of a pizza, a big win in my book. we also had cheese bread(great) and mozz sticks(average) and somehow managed to get two meals for three people for under $ 30. great value, clearly a lot of care put into the preparation. the place itself feels more like a diner than a pizzeria, but it’s charming enough and the staff are very nice.

Im from Chicago and prefer NY style pizza over deep dish. This comes pretty darn close to the pizza you can find all over NY. It’s a small restaurant which I prefer and appreciate. Very good food. Fresh ingredients! I will return whenever in the Dells area again!

Excellent, authentic New York style pizza. Very friendly service and reasonable prices. Homemade marinara sauce was one of the best I have tasted. Definitely worth a try for a casual meal.

Stopped by here on our way to the Dells. Owner hand delivered our pizza with courtesy and grace that literally made you feel that she was an Italian mom. Beyond the service, the pizza was fantastic! We are big lovers of NY style pizza, pizza that is borne out of dough made from water that has just the right mineral content. If that is the style of pizza you like, look no further.

I went here with my wife on a whim after working out. We had the large Mama Mia’s Pizza and man was it good. It is very clear that they use fresh ingredients and make everything from scratch on location. Can’t wait to go back and try the baked ziti or eggplant parmesan. This place is a hidden gem in Baraboo!

We returned to Devil’s Lake this year and thus returned to Mama Mia’s! So glad we did! After a day of activities on the lake we were starving, and it was too hot and humid outside to cook at the campsite. When we got there the place was full!!! We had to wait a short while for a table. So happy to see this place bustling, as the food is so wonderful and comforting. We started with dinner salads, which are served with those delightful little garlic rolls. I could eat about 5 of those things if unrestrained. For dinner I ordered the stromboli, filled with sausage, peppers, and mushrooms. My wife had the spaghetti and meatball. We split our entrees with each other and could not finish it all. Going to Mama Mia’s is an integral part of our Devil’s Lake/Baraboo experience.

Wow, what a find! I didn’t see this one coming. Who knew you could get pizza this great in the middle of Wisconsin. Not that there is anything wrong with Wisconsin; I love the state. However good pizza is hard to come by no matter where you’re at. So, if you”re in Baraboo, give this place a try. You won’t regret it.

It’s good pizza, no doubt. But I can honestly say I’ve had better elsewhere. The crust is so thin that it quickly became soggy and kinda unappetizing. Even that being considered, it still is good, overall.

Some of the absolute best pizza I’ve ever had outside of New York City, hands down. It’s just as good as any corner pizzeria in Manhattan. Super thin crust, gobs of cheese, perfect amount of sauce. Delicious! I’ve gone to Baraboo especially for this pizza. Best way to reheat it is to stick it right on the oven rack and let the crust crisp up and get the cheese all melty. Haven’t had anything better in the entire state. This place is a must!

Mama Mia’s Is the best Pizza restaurant I have eaten at since leaving New Jersey. Authentic New York style Pizza is totally AWESOME! I eat there all the time, actually I order 2 — 18″ Pies and eat on them for three days, and they are the best, and ya can’t beat the price. If you are in the Baraboo area give Mama Mia’s a call, and forget about dominoes, and all the other pizza franchises they can not compete. They also serve plenty of Italian dinners, and beer, and wine on the menu. from Imported to domestic. I drive 35 miles round trip just to get their pizza!!! I won’t buy pizza from any one else!

The SO and I, staying in Baraboo this last weekend, were hungry for Italian food. Naturally, I checked Unilocal to find Italian restaurants in the area and we found this one in downtown Baraboo. Small place, but not too crowded on an October Saturday night. The seafood linguini was very good. My SO had spaghetti. The meatballs were really delicious, and the homemade rolls were so good that I could make a meal of them alone. I love small town cafes! Visit this place if you’re in the Baraboo area.
