History

Established in 2012.

Laura and Mark Hamdan-Krause wished there was a place to gather with friends, that had a great wine list, and where the main activity was conversation. A place to connect. There are comfy couches, leather chairs, and cozy corners as well as standard pub furniture, so you’re sure to find the perfect place to sit.

When Laura was studying sustainable business management, during a financing course, she prepared a business plan for Con Amici and she and Mark set to work.

On August 22, 2012 – just 19 days after her graduation – Laura and Mark opened the doors of Con Amici.

The building was constructed in 1894 and was originally a tavern. It feels right that once again it’s a place for people to gather, relax, and enjoy each other’s company
