History

Established in 1986.

Weathermaster Products Corporation begins operation in Baltimore, Maryland with its mission to provide high quality exterior remodeling products at prices usually available only to contractors and builders

1987– Weathermaster’s service area extended to Howard, Carroll, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Frederick, and Harford Counties

1992– WeatherMaster’s service area is extended to include Washington, DC and Queen Anne’s County

1998– WeatherMaster signs ENERGY STAR partnership agreement with the US Department of Energy & EPA

2006– WeatherMaster celebrates its 20th Anniversary

2007– WeatherMaster’s service area is extended to Northern Calvert County

2009– WeatherMaster introduces RealSteel Security Windows, a unique high security window with decorative security bars located between the glass panes

2011– WeatherMaster is approved as a Virginia Class A Contractor and begins installation operations in Northern Virginia

2013– WeatherMaster installs its 175,000th window

Meet the Business Owner

Brian S.

Business Owner

One of the founders of WeatherMaster, Brian Spirt has a background in mechanical engineering, with an emphasis in energy systems and building performance. Brian is is committed to educating our clients about energy efficiency and helping build an energy-​independent America. He believes that insulating older homes (where more than 40% of heating and cooling energy is wasted) is an absolutely critical component to solving our country’s energy needs. Through his leadership, WeatherMaster became one of the original window companies to partner with the US Department of Energy and ENERGY STAR.

Outside of the office, Brian serves on the board of Rebuilding Together Howard County, a non-​profit that helps disadvantaged homeowners renovate their homes to stay «warm, safe and dry.» He is former board member of the Mid Atlantic Solar Energy Society, a founding board member of the conservation group Vanishing Tracks USA, an avid sailor, hopeful fisherman, and proud father of two daughters.
