I was the first patient in the door on the day of my visit… and I tell you what, I REALLY needed to be seen. Most of the time I can take care of things very well but when I reach that point when I literally wave the white flag? I’m very happy to know I have someplace solid to go to get the care I need. Nurse Practitioners rock. I don’t say that because I am one myself but I say it because we take the time to fully assess and talk to a patient. Sarah was mentoring a new NP to the practice and they both treated me exceptionally well. I admit that it’s hard for me to be a patient… but I am grateful that when I do find myself in that role, I now have a go-to. Excellent, caring staff also describes the front desk gentleman and the medical assistant(she and I share the same allergy to Compazine — we each had a doozy of a story to share about our reactions to that medication!!). While not open to the general public, if you’re a student or faculty member at UM-Baltimore, or an employee of UMMC, this is a great place to get exceptional immediate care.
