The Land of Kush inspires you to feed your spirit. We are VeganSoul! We work with vegetarians, vegans, and health conscious people who struggle with finding quality, tasty vegetarian food and want access to a location to experience our food and services. What makes us so different is «You won’t believe it’s veggie.» As a result, our clients enjoy healthy food and a good way of life and living. We promote our products and services to a diversified vegan, vegetarian, and health conscious market. Our vegetarian cuisine is derived from cultures all over the world. Our menu is a living, breathing entity. We modify it based on customer feedback. If there is a dish you would like to see on our menu in a vegan format, let us know!

History

Established in 2011.

Opened January 2011. We will be celebrating our fifth year anniversary in 2016. Come celebrate with us! We have new comfortable seats!

I’ve always had the vision to own a restaurant that catered to the health conscious crowd, but early on never really know how it would manifest. I wanted to bring ancient and natural concepts to our modern society. I felt as though the name Kush fit and added the «The Land» to invoke a sense of community. Baltimore is the ultimate community city; a city of neighborhoods. I wanted the restaurant to have its roots in a city of community.

Naijha Wright-​Brown

I am a people-​person, with over 20 years of customer relations experience. The thought of owning a restaurant never crossed my mind, though, until I relocated to Baltimore and met Greg. That is when we birthed the «vegan soul food» concept for The Land of Kush. It’s not just the food, it’s the overall experience! We are VeganSoul! I am, also, the co-​founder and organizer of Vegan SoulFest, an annual vegan festival in Baltimore City.
