Established in 1986.

McLain Wiesand has grown from its beginnings as mostly a resource for high end antiques, art and accessories, to a fully custom shop capable of creating almost any style and type of furniture, lighting, mirrors, decorative accessories or in house murals, hand painted faux finishes imaginable.

David W.

Business Owner

David’s background of growing up in a family of antique and art collectors, both parents having artistic leanings, and a MFA from the Maryland Institute college of art create a ripe atmosphere for creating furnishings and decorative arts in a fine arts tradition. David’s special interests are Baltimore painted furniture from the 19^th century, neoclassical design, mid century modern, art, sculpture and architecture. Music, fashion and travel, especially cities, are favorites.
