Little Havana Restaurant & Bent Fork Catering

The location is good right next to the water. The place is big and spacious with a pool table. One of the big advantages is there ample parking. The interior are very nicely done and almost gives it a hole in the wall kind of a feel. The drinks are good. The food can be better but we didn’t have any main dishes as we had filled up on appetizers. It’s a ideal place for a good weekday dinner with friends.

My husband and I have been for the Sunday brunch a hand full of times and have had great food and service every time.

Little Havana has a great atmosphere. Right next to the water and decorated well inside. There’s also corn hole outside which is nice in the summer time to sit and hang out with friends.
I’ve only eaten here once so maybe it was an off day or I ordered the wrong thing. But I was underwhelmed by the food– could have had a lot more flavor. Still would go back with friends though.

People who order only a soda at a bar/​restaurant are not to be trusted. Disregard the one star reviews. This is a great bar with excellent Cuban food and the best outdoor patio in Baltimore.

Killer popcorn. Love that its slightly salty yet not too buttery. And also succulent. Everything in this place is true magic.

After visiting several restaurants and bars in the Baltimore and DC area, I really fail to see what the draw is with this place. Maybe my bar is set a little too high for Cuban/​Spanish/​Mexican food. After a not so good experience, I usually try to make sure go back just to determine if I happened to catch the place on an «off» day. Welp, I went back… I’m still not a fan.
The food is sub par. The drinks are alright, at best. Perhaps the draw is the low prices. I guess you really get what you pay for, huh?
Unless a work function forces me back, I won’t be returning.

I’ve been to Little Havana twice. Once for brunch the second for a paint night. My first experience wasn’t all that great. We came in for seated and a after a few minutes the guy behind the bar came over. He looked more like a manager but after he failed to actually greet us I highly doubt he was. He came over with out a hi how are you my name is, but with a what can I get you. I did the mimosas which came in a large plastic cup of mostly ice and OJ. Upon looking around I noticed the only person that looked Hispanic was bussing the tables so it gave me very little hope the food would be authentic. Which is wasn’t…the food was decent certainly not memorable and the service was lacking for sure. However, at the paint night we were in the private room with a private bartender. She was sweet and made good drinks. I ordered some chips with guacamole and salsa. I didn’t care for either they both lacked flavor and needed some help. I will say I like the location off the water and the atmosphere. Other than that I can take or leave it.

Came here for a happy hour. They definitely have a lot of space to entertain. It wasn’t too packed when we got there but I imagine it doesn’t get too claustrphobic. They also have a couple games.
It was a nice location off the main road and right on the water. The parking situation can get a little confusing, but apparently they have their own lot you just have to drive around the corner to find it.
They do margarita pitchers! We just ordered a bunch of apps. I wasn’t a fan of the nachos. Not much sauce or cheese, they were a little dry. The wings were good. The guac was okay, not too much flavor. My favoriteeeee was the crab dip and you musttt get it. So creamy and rich and it’s served with soft pits bread.
I wasn’t a fan of the bathrooms. You have to reach all the way behind you to get toilet paper… it’s not right next to you! Boys just won’t ever understand…

Used Unilocal to find this place. We were in town on business. I was craving Cuban food. Great atmosphere. We were able to sit outside overlooking the waterfront because of the abnormally warm weather. Pan con bistec with fried yucca and a jalapeño ranch sauce. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Thanks for a great night!

Great bar right on the waterfront! My daughter’s cornhole team played here every Sunday during the summer. Enjoyed their Huckleberry Lemonade & Bloody Marys a lot!!! Nice place to relax & grab a drink. Thumbs up… they allow dogs on their patio!

⁸⁄₁₅ Once upon a time 10 years, (when I was young fresh and hungover most Sunday mornings from being out all night) I used to come here for brunch on Sundays. I remember lazily enjoying a tasty cuban inspired breakfast surround by great energy, good-​looking groups of people chatting drinking bottomless mimosa’s and bloody marys.
Now, no longer a part of that scene, I haven’t had much opportunity to experience Little Havana a great long while. But moving to South Bmore + running by the harbor+ watching hubby play Beach Volleyball = ending up eating fish tacos and drinking margaritas at Little Havana on a lot of Sunday evenings.
It’s been wonderful rediscovering it. So on each of my last 3 visits, I have had the «special» ahi tuna tacos, with the sweet friend plantain made even more tasty with a salty balanced margarita while sitting at a outdoor table. I have enjoyed the people-watching…every sort of person, relaxing, interacting and not in a raucous rowdy kind of way.
Little Havana has quickly becoming my favorite go to place for great cocktails, outdoor seating and good food.

So I’ve been dying to go to Little Havana for a while, and since it is the official bar of the sailing league I’m in right now, last night was my chance. We sat outdoors on their very spacious patio; I can’t say much for the comfort level during full sunshine, but during sunset it was really nice.
The service here is really slow, so the other reviewers don’t lie; however, everyone was very friendly and to be fair it is a very large restaurant that seats a lot of people without looking super packed.
I had two mojitos that were very well made; I could have had more but, you know, Tuesday night and all… For dinner I one of the specials, «Vaca Frita» which was shredded, braised beef, pan fried until crispy with onions and peppers, served over rice. It was delicious! Flavorful, with the perfect texture, and very light. I didn’t feel like I was eating junk. My better half had the carne tacos, which he said were good but not mind blowing. Next time he thinks he’ll have the cuban sandwhich with sweet potato fries, since we saw about 100 coming out and they looked amazing. Our friends had the fish tacos and the quesadilla, which they really enjoyed.
I will for sure be back, probably next Tuesday after a leisurely sail through the harbor.

Right on the water with an outdoor patio! Not the nicest place, kinda shabby, but has more of a bar atmosphere with a beachy vibe that happens to have delicious food.
The place is essentially a warehouse. There is so much floor space I wonder why they don’t fill it with high top tables or something. It always seems empty or missing something to me. They do have a pool table, shuffle board and I think it’s a pinball machine. I do love playing some shuffleboard!
The food is on point. I love the nachos, the mahi sandwich (although messy is delicious), and the chicken quesadilla (jerk chicken with pineapples and cheese in a flour tortilla, did someone say this is heaven? Because it is). The pork bites are very popular, I always WANT to like them, but to me they are chewy, over cooked, get stuck in my teeth, droplets of meat. The flavor is good, but they are just not my fave.
The service isn’t the best, not super attentive, but not awful. I ordered the chicken quesadilla recently and there wasn’t pineapple on it and I told them about it and they pretty much said I was wrong and it was on there, first of all you didn’t look, secondly I wasn’t wrong! Luckily they brought me out a plate of pineapple, but seriously thats a main ingredient to forget about and don’t disagree with me off the bat!
Anyway, on to the drinks, the mojitos are always delicious here! Especially sipping one outside on the patio on a nice summer day, that is the best. They should do live music because it would be so great, but I have never been there for it if they do.
Like I said before the place is large, they even have a huge party room that you can rent (I want to say it was like $ 300 and can fit 50ish people but I could be wrong, I looked into it for a party once). The party room also has it’s own pool table which is cool.
Lastly, they host a Homebrew competition every year during Baltimore Beer Week (sometime in October)… it is the BEST! If you love beer then this is for you SO MUCH BEER, so little room and little soberness. They need to host more events like this.

Went on a Monday night which is burger night! $ 4 8 oz beef or black bean burgers with lettuce, tomato, and onion. What a great deal! Sub sweet potato french fries for $ 1…totally worth the extra moolah. Cooked just right and seasoned well.
My friend got a special the Summer Seafood Salad came with fried calamari with spinach, tomatoes, carrots, and celery. I wish they would put more into their salads… they have great potential but once they order it there’s not enough of stuff in it. If they would have added some cucumbers and onions it would have been great… salads tend to fall short.
Fried plantains are delicious! Nice view and great sandwiches.

I have been to Little Havana’s before for bottomless mimosas and brunch. I remember sitting inside with friends and the service and food was fine.
But I hadn’t been back since. Last night (Memorial Day) my roommate and I really wanted to sit outside, enjoy dinner and drinks and soak up the perfect weather. We walked to Little Havana and waited 10 minutes for a table outside on the water which we both thought was perfectly reasonable.
While sitting at the bar waiting for our table we noticed two different people walk up to the bar with full to the brim mojitos. Turns out the bartenders were making them incorrectly and many had been brought back to be remade. My roommate and I just figured they were training someone and it was a slip-​up.
We were seated and immediately our waiter came to take our drink order. I ordered Sangria and my roommate ordered a Moscow Mule. Our drinks came out quickly but we noticed that my Sangria didn’t have any fruit in it (assuming they use a mix and not homemade) and her Moscow Mule had mint leaves in it… we were very confused. When she asked the waiter why there were mint leaves in her drink he said that’s how the drink is made. My roommate is a bartender and was not pleased. They did remake her drink to her liking which was appreciated.
However, the service just got worse from there. Our waiter would pass us every five to ten minutes but wouldn’t stop to check in on us. It took 45 minutes for him to ask what we wanted to order! We finally started asking him for things as he darted past us. The tables around us were trying to get his attention as well and we noticed many people sending their drinks back and who had errors with their food.
We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. It was a gorgeous night and we were in no rush, but the level of service we received was less than idea. Our food was incredible and I will definitely be back for the food but if the service is just as bad next time I may have to rethink giving them my business.

Little Havana was a great spot to grab a casual Saturday lunch. We got to enjoy the outdoor seating which was nice (albeit hot in the direct sunlight.)
Chips & guacamole was a nice starter. The guacamole was acceptable and the chips were crispy.
I ordered the Cuban sandwich and really enjoyed it. The bread could have been a bit crispier, but all in all it was a great sandwich. The ham was thinly sliced and the brightness from the pickles came through nicely. I appreciated the rice, beans, and plantain chips as a side a lot. It was a really great, filling lunch.
Others ordered: Pulled pork sandwich (delicious), Carne asada tacos, and the black bean burger. Everyone enjoyed their entrees.
Service was good. Someone in our party had a soy allergy and asked about the black bean burger, and our server immediately went to confirm that there was no soy in the burger. Unfortunately, I think the black bean burger was forgotten and was not delivered to our table until the rest of us were almost finished with our meals. Our server was apologetic and it wasn’t a big deal.

They have a patio out back with lovely views across the harbor. Unfortunately, half of it is shaded by the building and on the day we were there, it was windy, which made it really cold.
We came for brunch on a Saturday. I asked the waitress if the cuban eggs were vegetarian (the sauces, beans, rice) — she said she thought so but she’d check, and I asked her to let me know if they weren’t because I’d order something else. She said she would. She didn’t. It seems she just told the chef to make it vegetarian — so I had two fried eggs over bland rice and beans, with a side of what seemed to be honey butter and a few strips of flatbread. Not a great dish. I doused it in hot sauce, which gave it some flavor, at least. The service was really slow.
They offered bloody marys and mimosas for $ 4 each or $ 12 per pitcher — we went the pitcher route. Each pitcher gave us about 4 (pint glass-​sized) drinks. The mimosas were ok — not great but acceptable for the price. My friends said the bloody marys were quite spicy.
Overall the best thing was the price — My food and 2 mimosas, $ 18 including tip.

Found this place. Had to try it.
First off new to Baltimore so we did assume the actual building where the sign was would be the entrance. While driving in snow it’s hard too see the arrow pointing to the back.
Second it was a little chilly in there. Even sitting away from the door. Food. Burgers were cheap and good. Our kids enjoyed them. The Carne Taco weren’t what I expected but still good. Beans and rice were good.
Ordered a mojito and it tasted like just soda. The second one was so strong it was disgusting.
Overall an ok place. Would go back for the tacos.

We love Little Havana.
When they’re not super crazy busy, there aren’t any complaints about service or close parking. The food isn’t the best thing in the universe, but it’s a great deal and always fresh.

The Sunday night special is a double portion of Paella (usually $ 20 for single portion) and a pitcher of Sangria ($ 16, I think?) for $ 30. Yes, it’s Sunday night, when we shouldn’t be eating seafood traditionally, but it’s not local shrimp anyway.
This isn’t the most authentic paella — no crispy rice edge bits here — but it is very well seasoned, and has lots of great vegetables. Pieces of chicken, crumbled up chorizo, properly cooked mussels, and an interesting assortment of summer squash and carrots dot this rice dish — with surprisingly little rice.
That’s good, though, right? Less filler? While quite delicious, I’m not sure I’d describe this to somebody as paella — it’s more along the lines of a saffron jambalaya, which is definitely delicious.
D liked his Cuban sandwich, but planned to try the wings or something «more creative» the next time we visit.

This may not be the best brunch food that I’ve had, but it has been the most fun. And a great deal as well. For 18.99 (I think they recently raised the price), you get an entrée and your choice of bottomless mimosas or bloody marys. The last time I went I had the huevos rancheros, which was two eggs sunny side up over two crunchy tortillas, avocados, hot sauce, and some other things. It came with a side of rice and beans and a muffin. It was pretty good and filling, but i wasn’t a huge fan of the crunchy tortilla. If there was an option to have a soft tortilla I would have liked it better.
There’s seating inside and out. Sit outside if the weather is nice! They have a nice view of the water.
All in all it’s a great spot to come for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. You can watch the Raven’s games or play many of the games they have such as shuffleboard and pool. They also have a small outdoor area in the back with a few tables and cornhole.

From my dinner visit —
After an afternoon at the Tiki Barge, my friends and I were looking to grab a quick bite to eat. We wanted something casual, where we could eat outside, enjoy a few drinks and ideally we wanted Mexican food. Well, I still hate Blue Agave, and Banditos turns into a bar so we decided to try Little Havana which is only a block away.
As a group, we decided to share an order of the Bison Tacos. The tacos were seasoned with tavo meat and topped with grilled peppers, onions and avocado in a flour tortilla. The bison tacos were great, but really nothing special.
We also shared an order of the Queso Dip with tortilla chips. This was a white cheddar queso and I would have preferred if there was a little more flavor to it.
For dinner, one of my friends ordered the Carne Tacos. The tacos were served with steak, chopped onions, cilantro and with a side of rice. My friend loved these tacos and thought they were packed with flavor. I tried a bite of these and liked them considerably more than the bison tacos.
Two of my other friends shared the Quesadilla Chicharron de Pollo. Two quesadillas were stuffed with chicken, cheese, pineapple and onions. My friends loved this dish and thought the pineapple added another level of sweetness to the dish.
I ordered the Bocadilla de Pollo which was a delicious chicken sandwich. The chicken was marinated with garlic mojo sauce with was wonderful and packed a bunch of flavor, the sandwich was topped with spinach, avocado, pico de gallo and garlic aioli. I really loved this sandwich and thought it was full of flavor.
My sandwich came with a side of Sweet Potato Fries which were really good, but nothing particularly special.

From my brunch visit —
I love brunch. More specifically, I love brunch places that infuse Mexican/​South American flavors into their food and Little Havana on Key Highway is no exception.
I woke up with a slight hangover on a Sunday morning and knew that the best thing to cure it would be some sort of egg dish. A quick FourSquare search told me that Little Havana had a great Sunday brunch deal and huevos rancheros. I had previously been to Little Havana for dinner with some friends, so I was excited to try their brunch.
When my friends and I arrived, we all opted for the ‘bottomless brunch’ option which is either bottomless mimosas or bloody Mary’s and a brunch entrée for $ 18.
I kid you not, pitcher after pitcher of beverages arrived at our table. It was amazing.
When it was time to place our order, I ordered Huevos Rancheros. It was two over easy eggs over a fried tortilla with salsa, avocado and cotija cheese. The dish came with a side of rice and beans but I opted for no beans. The dish was great, super filling and packed with flavor. Also accompanied with the bottomless drinks it really was a great deal.
After I finished my eggs, the table decided to share an order of Churros. A churro is a piece of fried dough and this one was served with a side of chocolate sauce for dipping. Unfortunately the churros did not come out warm and were very dense, not light and crunchy like we had anticipated. The chocolate sauce was good and made the churros a little better. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to order them here again.
Overall, the brunch at Little Havana was great and I wouldn’t hesitate going there again for a bottomless brunch on a Sunday.
