My out of town guests declared this the best cheese steak sandwich they had in Baltimore and actually went out of their way to go back here and eat again. I didn’t try the cheese steak but I thought I’d pass on their high recommendation! I did find their hamburgers to be a great choice though.
They also deliver in Federal Hill.

Just down the street from Garden Restaurant (see my other review), J&P offers much more by way of late night eats. Their cheeseburger is actually pretty damn good, as well as their grilled cheese and french fries. The place is relatively clean and well lit, esp compared to the GR down the block. Still, if I were in Federal Hill, I’d try walking a few blocks to Mama D’s for a slice.
Still, J&P Carry Out has come through for me on more than one occasion.
