Specialties
Acupuncture:
Using the wisdom of Classical Chinese medicine, I will help you access your body’s intrinsic capacity to heal. Acupuncture treatments may also include essential oils, healing stones, and/or energy work.
My acupuncture clients include children who experience night terrors, young women with severe menstrual cramps, middle-aged men with migraines, artists with ADHD, and people in their 70s looking for support as they navigate the aging process.
I specialize in working with people who are experiencing insomnia, anxiety and/or depression. I also have a deep affinity for working with folks who are feeling creatively blocked & uninspired.
Hatha Yoga Instruction:
I have been teaching and practicing Hatha yoga for 14+ years. I have an affinity for working with beginners, those recovering or living with injury, and/or people who want to integrate yoga into their life to cultivate relaxation and peace.
My yoga trainings coupled with my studies of acupuncture give me a deep appreciation for the mind/body connection and a firm understanding of the body, both energetic and anatomical.
I offer the following:
* 60 Minute Private Yoga Instruction — Customized to your goals & level of practice
* Holistic Acupuncture Treatment and Health History Intake — 90 Minutes
* Follow-Up Acupuncture Treatments — 60 Minutes
* Acu-Detoxification Treatment
History
Established in 2008.
After receiving my Master’s of Acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health in June of 2008 I opened my own practice in Baltimore City. Full Moon Acupuncture is part of a wellness collective — ONE Wellness– that operates out of 911 West 36th Street. ONE Wellness is a team of professional healers — massage therapists, life coaches, reiki practioners, clinical pyschotherapists & me, an acupuncturist — who share a mission to bring more awareness, vitality, and joy to our community and to our world.
Meet the Manager
Martha R.
Manager
Using my heart and mind in creative endeavors brings me joy. I have long loved the natural world and her treasures. Recently, I have been drawn to making succulent terrariums with stones, sand, shells & driftwood that I find while walking along the Chesapeake Bay.
The exquisite poetry of Classical Chinese Medicine appeals to my artistic side. The potency of the Medicine to heal and transform not only pain, physical & emotional, but entire lives inspires the curious scientist in me.
I am committed to helping the most amount of people come into alignment with the truest expression of their heart’s joy. And, often times, that means helping to alleviate pain that has diminished the spirit’s capacity for presence and joy. The mindbodyspirit are one.
Spending time with my magical spotted dog Luna, my marshmallow pug, my tuxedo kitty Luci & my partner keep my feet on the ground and a smile in my heart.
