Sadly this placed is closed for businesses. I stopped to see it for myself. There were locks and flyers on the window.

Both reviews were spot on. Great sandwich and the host is wonderful. It’s a breakfast version of Cheers. There were obviously some regulars who didn’t even need to order as they had the same thing for 29+ years. Good solid food. Big portion. Fair price. I wish this place wasin my home town so I could go regularly.

This place is definitively not for everybody. If you have any bougie tendencies or are looking for «the best breakfast spot in Baltimore» then keep walking a few more blocks and stand in line at Blue Moon because you probably won’t get why I’m giving this spot 5 stars. Eastern Sit In & Carry Out is a small breakfast spot on Eastern Ave right next to the bait & tackle shop in Fells Pt. It’s a small counter restaurant that’s run by one Korean lady who will chit chat and laugh with you and at your expense all while frying up your brekkie sammich on the grill. Aine and I rolled up to this joint because it was one of those places that she’s passed many times and always wanted to go into but they’re only open for breakfast because hey, how long do you expect one lady to stand behind a counter and cook for? As soon as we walked in Korean hon took one look at us and said «Hey, new customers!» That right there tells you that she knows everybody who comes in. Nice touch. But we were never strangers because within 5 minutes she had pulled out her wedding photo from Korea and a photo album of her grandson ready for the showing. All of this while joking with the other customers and frying up nearly 1 lb of bacon for our 2 brekkie sammiches. This woman was a dynamo. Engaging and entertaining. There should be a cover charge for this show. Mind your manners though. When you walk into this place your are practically stepping into your auntie’s kitchen where she has been waiting for you and ready to cook you a quick meal so you can tackle whatever you need to do with the rest of your day. Usually this type of place will not be reviewed by me on Unilocal because I like to keep my secrets to myself. Some of you will know what I mean. This place, however, is an experience that I think many people should have. This is a place where I want to give my money to because while I was there I had a sense that oem-​ma was not doing this for the money. This is her world and her stage. Come sit for a spell and take it all in.

I have been in there countless Saturday mornings and it is the friendliest neighborhood spot I’ve ever been to. Just a friendly breakfast counter run by one incredibly nice lady. Momma runs the place and she is the best! She’ll hook you up with any kind of greasy breakfast delicious sandwich homes fries, pancakes burgers whatever you want!
Expect service at the speed that one person can make your food cause that’s all you’re gonna get.
Highly recommended.
Ask for mayo, lettuce and tomato on your bacon egg cheese sandwich, you will be so happy.
