If you live in a constant status of I Don’t Know where I ate last night, then maybe you should skip the middle man and just check out Don’t Know in Federal Hill. I drive or walk by here almost every day, and I always mentally note that I need to check it out. My friend was craving Crab Dip Tots and I took that at the perfect opportunity to head over to Don’t Know. We started our meal with the Crab Dip Tots. The crab dip smother to tot ratio was perfect. Tots were not left uncovered, and my friend inhaled this dish. I have a love affair with brussels sprouts, so when I saw Kung Pao Brussels on the menu I was intrigued and knew I had to try them. The brussels were fried in a red thai chili sauce, topped with roasted peanuts, and served over vegetable fried rice. These were great, moderately spicy, and probably one of the better ones I’ve had. I also ordered the DK Burger which came topped with smoked bacon, muenster cheese, spicy remoulade, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The burger was flavorful, perfect to eat at the bar while watching a game with friends. Overall, the food at Don’t Know was pretty great and I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other menu offerings.

Best place to hang out on a Friday night. It’s a very casual atmosphere and they have a bunch of games — like lifesize connect four and shuffle board. Can’t beat the $ 10 all you can drink until 10PM on Fridays. Oh and the crab tater tots are amazing.

Are you kidding me… Sitting here at a WVU bar, watching a 12:00WVU game and I can’t order anything but brunch until 1:00… Stoopid

I hate to give this place just 3 stars, but they’re so inconsistent I can’t give them anything more. First of all they have a great happy hour of 10 $ all you can drink wine and miller lite from 7 – 10! Their wings are AMAZING — I’d say better than Delia’s. I get the honey sriracha — I’ve gotten them both grilled and fried. Fried is the way to go — the grilled are good, but sometimes they char them too much and that’s all you can taste. The brussels sprouts — yes brussels sprouts at a bar — are great too! Their garlic fries are on point… however a lot of the times they aren’t cooked enough and they’re hard. They also are pretty slow on getting food out, this has happened multiple times when it’s not busy. One time after waiting way too long for our food they managed to mess most of the order up. They gave the wrong sandwich to one of my friends, when he pointed it out to them they took the sandwich back, and after 20 minutes came back with a ‘new’ sandwich. Except instead of it being new it was the same bread(bite mark and all) just things scrapped off and new stuff put on. I literally could not believe it. If they were going to put that quality back out to us I have no idea why it took so long. This is one of my favorite bars — they just really need to figure out the kitchen.

This is a neighborhood favorite, especially for those who are beginning to outgrow the cross street bars such as stalking horse, magerks, etc. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and they have a decent selection of beers on tap. Best of all, they have an all you can drink happy hour that will only cost you $ 10 and lasts for three solid hours. This is a great way to spend your Friday night.

The best bouncer in federal hill. 100% gentlemen! Walked a nice girl home after a longer night of drinking than she expected. Good brews, awesome bar food and all the bartenders are courteous. But really, he walked her home. Too nice.

I feel like the food is underrated here. Every sandwich I’ve had is great, my most recent time here I split the Corky with my boyfriend and it was ahhhhmaaaazing. Fried green tomatoes and Thai chile mayo, yup bless it. The menu changes seasonally and the names of things are clever. Their grilled cheese is called I’m Not Grilling You a Cheese, which caused my boyfriend and I to giggle for a good 10 minutes. Man, I love a good Archer joke. Draft list changes seasonally as well and is priced fairly. It’s always packed when I’m there, but the service is quick and efficient no matter what. The only annoying thing about the place is the bathrooms. Like, ladies, can you try not to pee on the floor??? Woof.

Went there to watch the games on Sunday and figures I would order some nachos. Well this was a huge mistake. If I wanted horrible nachos I could have just made them at home. Horrible layering of toppings and the shredded cheese was already cold and stuck together by the time it got to the table. My fiend got tuna tacos. The tuna was so over cooked it looked like it came out of a can

Met some coworkers here for a Friday night of mayhem and was impressed with their special. Unlimited Miller and Coors Lite from 6pm until 10pm on a Friday night, SOLD! I believe that they have this every Friday, but not 100% sure. It was packed all around the bar and hard to get the bartender’s attention at times, but what else would you except when they have a special like that. The bartenders did work quick to fill orders, and they had enough on staff to not be overwhelmed by the crowd. Towards the end of the night they had somebody performing live at the front of the restaurant. He was pretty talented. I did have to deduct a star due to the cleanliness of the bathroom. Now I know when your packed and have a lot of drunk people it can be hard to keep up with the cleanliness of the bathroom, however it was beyond the usually dirty. They were running low on toilet paper and there was water and/or urine all over the floor. Hoping this is not the usually on a less crowded day. Looking forward to returning and hoping that I won’t need to hold my bladder until the next bar.

Went here for brunch. Drinks were good but the food was overpriced and did not taste good. I ordered a crab omelette which was basically a bit of crab and a whole lot of sour cream. I tried my friends egg Benedict and breakfast burritos which did not taste good either.

If you like warm beer, goofy patrons, spotty service and sticky bars… then Don’t Know is your place! I am not a fan been here a bunch of times and everytime nothing changes! It is a south Baltimore staple.

This place is starting to go downhill. I came for brunch today and half the ceiling was dripping water. It smelled a bit like mildew, and the whole place felt dingy. The food was okay. I was not a fan of the sauce on the French toast and the bacon was cheap and fatty. The eggs Benedict were good. With all the other options in the area, I won’t be going back until it gets cleaner.

I’ve always loved this place for the friendly atmosphere, great service, and fair prices. I just tried the DK burger and it was cooked to perfection. Not one negative thing to say about this spot. I will be a weekly customer.

This was my first time here and we had the bottemless mimosas for $ 10. The drinks were ok but I prefer to have alcohol in my drinks. I guess for $ 10 alcohol is extra. Came in at 11am and struggled to get to the Ravens game at 1pm. Crab omelett is excellent but there just is not enough people working here. There was no managers here to complain to about the drinks.

Don’t Know is my go-to when I just feel like hanging out and don’t have any real plans. Partly it’s because it’s super convenient to where I live, but it’s also just a fun bar. It can get crazy crowded(beware of Friday nights from 7 – 10 when it’s $ 10 all-you-can-drink Natty Boh and wine). But any other time, it’s just right. I also love that they have board games(I’ve played many a round of Apples to Apples there), giant beer pong(with buckets), nice bartenders, and occasionally some good live music(in general they play great music). I would definitely recommend Don’t Know if you’re looking for a cool, down-to-earth spot to hang out in Fed. [As for food: I’ve tried a few different things and some things are really good and some are meh. The special fries — I forget what they are, parmesan or something — are freaking amazing though.]

Can’t beat $ 3.50 wings on Wednesday nights! Although everyone loves a fried wing, if you’re watching your waist, you can get them grilled without losing a lot of the flavor! Have a decent amount of beers on draft. For entertainment purposes, they have a skeeball machine, shuffle board, and lots of TV’s. I had a salad with salmon, the portions were big and food was tasty. I have been here for brunch, and the simple brunch items, such as eggs & bacon seem very over priced, but the bottomless mimosas or bloody marys are a great deal.

I found the reason to wake up for brunch… Don’t Know Tavern. The staff is quick to serve and make a to die for mimosa… I ordered the DK Breakfast pancakes layered with home fries, bacon, sausage, and a fried egg… the best eye candy ever. They have a lot to choose from, it was hard but was very pleased with my choice. The place is filled with Ravens pictures, jerseys, and etc. The kind of place where you go for happy hour, play some of the board games have some bites and sips. I see many trips in the future.
