I came in today for a correction color «which was not an easy task since it was blonde that had turned brassy» I had Vanessa as my stylist she’s fantastic from her skills to her personality. She also had Katie and Danny sit in on figuring out how to handle my color which they were both awesome to. The salon has a great vibe and all the employees are great. Highly recommended!!!

Dawn was able to look at the condition of my hair, make recommendations tailored to my style, personality and appearance. She brought my curls back to life and I felt lighter and healthier, overall. She paid terrific attention to each snip and approached the process as true art. I can not wait to return for the pampering and attention!

I got my hair done yesterday by Rachael E. She’s lovely, and the cut for my curly hair is great. What I want to talk about, though, is the organic color she used. Normally, my hair smells icky for like three days after a color, but it didn’t even stink while she was doing it. I like that a lot.

I went to crafted for the first time based on other good reviews and was not disappointed. I highly recommend dawn, who was very informative throughout my hair color and cut. She tailored her process to my hair and personality and the results are awesome. I love my professional but stylish cut and color and my curls have honestly never looked better. Highly recommend

At first I walked in at 10:30am looking for a hair cut. They had appointments already (they only have a couple of stylists on Tuesday so walk-​ins are more difficult) so they told me they could make an appointment for the afternoon, which I did. When I came back for my appointment, I saw Nicole. She’s really good. I have long curly hair and wanted to get it cut and straightened. I hadn’t had a cut in 2 years and I was nervous about the blow out process from past experiences. But Nicole was excellent at it. She did it quick and made it look easy. And when her next appointment came she didn’t rush her work at all. She still took her time with my hair to make sure it was perfect. She also guarantees her work if you’re not happy with it. The cut/​style was great and the price was comparable to what I paid in the past for worse cuts/​styles. I’ll definitely go back/​recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about Crafted Hair Studio. I am always thrilled with the way my hair looks, and I have learned so much about how to do my hair on my own from the stylists. I always go to Katie Elder, and she is clearly an expert in curly hair. She is great at sensing my style and doing something adventurous but very professional. Vanessa has also done my color and did a great job. It looked great right away and lasted for months. My best friend goes to Danny Elder and loves him (she has very long, thick hair). Overall the vibe is fun and relaxed. I also highly recommend the 7 seconds leave in conditioner. I am usually skeptical of salon products– they never seem to accomplish what they say they’ll do. This one is actually worth the money. It’s great for styling soft curls and to freshen in the morning. Game changer. Be sure to check out Crafted!

Great haircut, and really nice people. Even though I was the last appointment of the day, Rachel really took the time to listen to what I wanted and did a great job with my long, very thick, curly/​wavy hair. And since, like many curly-​haired people, I’ve had my share of bad haircuts, I get pretty excited when I find someone who can really do a good job with it. Thanks!

Danny is the absolute best!!! I have followed him to 3 salons now, and crafted is adorable! I love how small and intimate it is. Also, Danny gives a fantastic haircut and he knows what he is doing! He spent over an hour with me tonight. I Love my new haircut! I can’t wait to make my next appointment.

I can not express how much I love Crafted Hair Studio and all its people! I am an incredibly picky person when it comes to getting my hair colored and cut. Before I moved back to Baltimore I had the best hair people I could imagine in San Francisco and was very nervous about finding someone here in Baltimore. I have searched for 3 years and on a recommendation I heard about Crafted opening. At the time I was looking to do a drastic color change and when I called I asked if I could come in and talk with a colorist to see who if they could do what I was looking for (because I had been told by a previous place they would not). They said no need to come in and that they had the perfect person for me to get an appointment. I expected they would MAYBE have availability in 2 to 3 weeks but they could get me in a week from my call. Not only did this process seem to easy when I met Vanessa it was even easier. I showed a few photos talked about the logistics and she matched my request to a T. She has since then never led me astray and everyone who works there is super friendly and welcoming. The Owner Rachael is also to note a very vibrate and thoughtful person. So, I didn’t usually get «store-​bought haircuts», but I have tried this place a couple of times now, and like how I look afterward (which is refreshing). I had an event I needed to clean up for, and they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute even though they were busy, and I was taken care of in fifteen minutes. Oh, I should recommend Vanessa, too. Very stylish and inexpensive cuts.

When do you ever go to a hair salon where, not one, not, two, but three sweet professionals will put their heads together to fix the problems you may be having with your hair? Thank you Rachael, Danny and Chloe for turning what is normally a terrifying experience for me into a morning of pleasure

I already wrote a review on Rachel but as she’s no longer taking new clients and I switched to Danny I have to give him a shout out. Danny did only the cut this time but oh my god did he do an amazing job, the guy knows curls and how to cut them! Kept the length but got rid of the dead stuff. I’ll be seeing him for color next time (and based on how fabulous his wife’s hair is I can’t wait)

Rachel gave me the best cut and color I’ve had in years. I’m so happy to declare I’ve found my new home with Rachel and Crafted. Decided to get my hair cut here on a whim after not having it cut for almost a year– cut turned out awesome and entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I have very straight thick hair which makes bad haircuts clearly visible; didn’t have that problem here at all. Vanessa was awesome!

I have extremely curly hair and have had several bad haircuts during my life and am always anxious about switching hair dressers (The past 14 years I have had a total of 2 hair dressers, I used to travel home from college just for hair cuts!). Rachel came recommended by both google & an acquaintance, so I decided to try out the salon (which she owns). The cut is amazing, no awful triangle (those with curly hair know what I am talking about). Rachel has curly hair similar to mine so I felt very secure in her ability to give me a good cut. I ended up spending most of the day with her assistant, Dawn, who was lovely. I ended up a color more extreme that I had anticipated, but I think part of this was a failure on my part to explain what I meant by «I want to be more blonde» That being said she took me from some average honey colored highlights to almost a platinum blonde in one sitting that I have gotten used to and now love. She was picky about the evenness and tone of the color. She did a protein fill before putting anything onto my hair and then gave me extensive information on how to care for it now that it had been so processed and it still looks healthy and amazing! I’m hooked! The salon is beautiful and all the girls working there super sweet!

I am visiting Baltimore, and decided to get my cut today. I made the appointment online, and spoke to Gina via phone. She was very cheerful, and helpful which was comforting since I don’t trust just anyone with my hair. I’m so glad I did! Vanessa & Staff are amazing. My hair looks exactly how I wanted it to be.
They are professional, friendly, great since of style, and I will drive from Virginia again to see them. Love them!
