Cal Ripken is legendary in the Baltimore area as the «Iron man», having played 2131 consecutive games. That’s insane. And so to commemorate The great Cal Ripken, Jr., the ballpark has erected a statue of him in the small «Legends Park» area of Camden Yards.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to find it, but if I was coming here for a game then it’s worth it.
Mr. Ripken was a shortstop and so his statue is of him playing in that position.
