Salon West

I tried out Salon West the other day after hunting for somewhere closer to my new home. A childhood friend had relocated and had just starting working there so bonus for already knowing my stylist. The salon is cute and clean and well stocked. Everyone was friendly and seems like they enjoy working together. Literally the only complaint that I have with the place is the receptionist. She was flustered when there were literally only 2 clients in the place and even vented to me about my stylist (who, again– I knew personally) unnecessarily. She was completely unprofessional and it made me feel uncomfortable. When I booked my next appointment she made me feel like she was closing some sale rather than just scheduling my time. She pressured me to put it on the books when I already explained that I needed to check on my husband’s schedule to stay with our kiddo. I actually called back to cancel it because it did not work with his schedule as I previously assumed. I wish I could book directly with my stylist rather than calling the salon. I honestly wouldn’t even return if I didn’t love my hair girl so much.
