I am a gentle groomer for over 20 years and I take pride in making sure your furkids has a wonderful spa day. I use all natural products and strive for excellence. I work on an appointment basis, one on one so your dog is not in a cage waiting their turn. I work start to finish which is nice and a lot less stressful for your pet.

History

Established in 2013.

Having gotten remarried in March of 2013 and moving back to NY from SC. I wanted to open my own business. This is my dream and I am also able to be a mom that’s. Involved in my daughter so school and activities as well.

I use a lot of natural and holistic properties in my business. I am not a fan of all the added junk in shampoos ect.

Princess looks amazing, I’m very pleased with the transformation she’s begun with Penny. Penny took the time to listen and to understand what look I’d like my new Shih tzu mix to achieve. Princess and I absolutely loved the experience of her grooming at Penny’s, she was even cooing at the talk of going back.

My family’s Cairn Terrier has had many barbers in her life. Some have been wonderful and others have sent her back looking like a Westie, a Schnauzer or some indeterminate breed. My mother found Penny’s on Unilocal,and she has been nothing short of thrilled with her service.
Penny took the time to ask about our Cairn’s health, habits and personality – things none of our previous groomers had ever done, even the best ones. We discussed the details of her cut, and while she took the time to make our dog comfortable and secure, she got the job done in a reasonable amount of time.
We returned to find a very happy and well-​groomed dog. Penny obviously loves the dogs she grooms, takes the time to win their confidence and does a terrific job cleaning them up and making them look like puppies once more. We highly recommend her services to all discerning dog owners who want to get their dogs a trim in a loving environment with a talented groomer.

So Happy to see you are finally on Unilocal!Have been using Penny for the past few months. So happy we found her! Amazing cuts and washes. Pups always come back with a bandanna and some healthy treats. She offers a pick up and drop off service which save me time. I have it set up so she calls me once a month to arrange the pick up, and she remembers which is key as I always forget. Great addition to Baldwin and South Shore!

Penny is amazing! Our Hazel loves her spa day with Penny. She takes such special care of all of her customers. I can tell she genuinely LOVES each and every pet she grooms. Hazel comes home smelling lovely, with a holiday/​season appropriate bandana and healthy treat. We love Penny!
