History

Established in 2011.

Devil Dog RC started out as a small grassroots effort with the dream of turning a passion for the Radio Control hobby into a business. We took the love of RC cars and aircraft, and slowly built it into something that we can share with everyone. We may not be the oldest or biggest mega-​shop, however, we promise to provide outstanding customer service and customer satisfaction.

We have based our concept on carrying quality «hobby-​grade» products. We do not sell «toy-​store» or «shopping mall» low quality items. If we don’t have what you’re looking for in stock, we will special order it for you and can typically get your RC gear in your hands in a matter of days.

We are an authorized dealer for all manufacturers that we carry. We have a brick and mortar retail business location in Baldwin Park, California — we’re not just another faceless internet company.

Our goal is to provide 110% customer satisfaction and we will go to any means necessary to achieve mission accomplishment.

Rob is the RC TOP DOG! He’ll go out of his way to make sure you are truly satisfied with your purchase, no other hobby shop I know of will give you this kind of service and pricing. Rob will even let you try some of the stuff at the store! You’ll become his friend like I have! Before you buy any Rc, car, plane, drone… whatever, give the dog a visit… you will not regret it!

I am a first time RC owner so I have no idea what I am doing… The owner was so nice and courteous, and took his time to explain everything to me and my son. I went down the street to Tony’s Hobbies and the girl at the front desk was really rude and short tempered. I will for sure be shopping at Devil Dog RC going forward. :)

Ill start by saying I wanted to buy a rc drift cars and we didnt really know what to buy so I hit two places before I hit this place. First it was people hobbie then it was tony hobbie which was down the from this place. Man was I glad I hit this place.

Compare to the other two his shop is small and he share the place with a bike shop. The place looks kinda messy but you completely forget about the mess when you meet Rod.
He is super helpful, though he does not have the inventory versus the other two his personality and his knownledge is absolutly incredible.
He mentally and physically prepare us on what we should expect when handling the rc car. And on top of everything he gave us a sick hookup.
All in all, what he lacked in inventory he covered with excelent customer service! And dont worry he can order you parts at the lowest price possible!

Every time I come here there’s stuff scattered everywhere and I love it. Reminds me of my garage, the tinker shop, organized clutter everywhere. Anything you need, you can find here. Any question you have can be answered here. The owner is super helpful and has some of the most competitive prices out there.
Bought a quad copter because his price beat even those online! He was also super informative about the product I purchased making sure I knew everything I needed to know before taking so test flight.
I’ll be coming back. One of the best hobby shops I’ve been to.

When it comes to service, NO ONE COMPARES TO ROD! Devil Dog does not have the biggest inventory but Rods service and knowledge is untouchable! ROD is like a long lost friend that your happy to come across again! A lot has changed since I last flew RC planes and ROD took the time to bring me up to speed! I left with a great deal on my RC plane and plenty of NEW RC plane knowledge to get me started flying again!

Wow is all I got to say about this place. While they didn’t have what I was initially looking for (a type of paint for plastics), I still bought a mini quad copter. The level he helped the customer before me and me was amazing. He did direct me to another place. Everyone there was extremely courteous and helpful.
I was so tempted to go back into rc cars and copters again. The stuff they have here is awesome. If you’re a beginner or enthusiast I would highly recommend this place.

Came here last week to buy some batteries and a charger and it was 2 minutes till close but he gladly helped me out even though it took some time to explain how everything works and the dangers and some tips (i am new to the rc world). He really cares about his customers and will definitely come back for anything i need.

I stopped by Devil Dog RC recently and really appreciated how friendly the owner Rod was. I’ve been to other hobby stores where I feel the employees are just waiting for me to buy something and get out the door. Rod does his best to answer questions and give the best prices. I’m glad Rod’s store is fairly close by. Devil Dog RC might not have all the parts and goodies «in stock» like some of the bigger stores, but he will do all he can to get you want you want at the best prices he can. And I don’t think you will find a more personable and friendly RC owner around. That means something to me.

We were in town and I decided to stop by. I wish I had a shop in my neiborhood like this one. I wish I lived closer. Rod has the best knowledge about Rc. I’m a fifth scale guy but he knew just as much as me. Just call and ask a few questions. This is the real deal a mom and pop shop at its best. Please support this type of local businesses. Rc cars, helicopter and Rc planes at its best!!! A must stop and shop and the prices are second to none and you get support when you need help balancing your batteries.
