Jessie is great! She’s friendly and fast. When I go I always wait for her even if there’s a wait time. I’ve been going to her for years and she’s the only one I trust with my eyebrows.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! McDonald’s arches!!! disgusting! andddd my cousin goes in all the time & that’s all she does McDonald’s arches!!! plus the lady once had the other worker make a phone call, put it on speaker and while she was threading she was talking on the phone! how the hell do u talk and have thread in your mouth at the same time? horrible horrible horrible!

Went to get henna with a friend. And we felt uncomfortable and the lady wasn’t good at it. I went in with a design on my phone and she couldn’t do it. Horrible experience.

First and last time here, just sayin… I don’t like the rudish attitude or the price vs quality. So it’s a no go for me, I’m good…

I used to have a lady and she used to do a great job and would finish in two minutes but now they have two new women. one of them is still training cause my brows looked like crap and it took her forever to finish and the other one is SO RUDE! I went to pay her for my brows and upper lip (14 $) and then she says «what about my tip?» With the angriest voice. I always give tips but she needs to know that tip is optional, even if I didn’t give it to her, it was my right. Stop asking your customers for tips, because of that I will not be going back.

In one word: satisfactory. I wasn’t happy with my eyebrow shape and thought they looked slightly uneven, but I understand I can’t have perfectly symmetrical eyebrows. Also I was trying this as an alternative to waxing just to see. I did not think the pain was that much different. I’m not compelled enough to switch to threading permanently but I might come back to try it once more. The ambience was good, I went at an uncrowded time so it was pleasant, and my threader was very polite.

Rudest service ever! From the moment I walked in the door. Brow work was quick and looks good, but I was so put off by their attitudes I didn’t care to request my free lip threading… nor did she offer. Too bad I will never return because the threading options in town are limited.

Wow… worst experience ever! The lady that assisted us was very rude. My daughter and I came here based on reviews for threading. The threading itself was satisfactory, but I will never spend my money here again because of their attitudes!

Now that I have discovered threading, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to waxing. For those of us blessed with luscious raven locks (aka a lot of dark hair) we know that it often shows up in prominent areas that we’d prefer it didn’t. In the past, our options were shaving (not helpful for the face), bleaching, or waxing. Most of us have suffered through hot wax being applied to our skin and then ripped off painfully. I know I’ve had this done regularly for over 30 years — yes, this problem never seems to go away. After waxing, my skin is usually red, puffy, and itchy for at least an hour
Not so with threading. Yes, it does hurt a bit to have either threading or waxing done. The big difference with threading is that when they are done my skin is not red, puffy, or itchy. I can walk out the door and nobody can look at me and tell that I’ve just had anything done. This is important to me, because I can stop to get threading done and then keep going about my business without worrying about how I look. When I used to get waxed, I always had to go home and apply cold packs to the affected areas until the swelling went down and then reapply my makeup. DEFINITELY a bonus since I’m usually busy.
Patel’s Threading and Henna Salon does not look like a decorator was involved. It is very simple, just several salon style chairs where customers are worked on and an area where people can wait. The ladies here are very nice and do a great job. It never takes long to have work done and be on your way.

Gets the job done. New location has more privacy then when they were located at the mall.

For anyone who has never threaded before, you definitely need to try it. I was devoted to waxing for ages, but after one threading treatment, I was hooked. Several years later, my brows look just as good as the first time I tried it.
Does threading hurt? Sure, but so does waxing. I’d say the pain is abut equal between the two, the difference being that waxing is one or two big OUCH!!! pains and threading is more drawn out over a few minutes. The results though are totally worth it.
Unlike waxing threading gets a perfectly clean, sharp line. Waxing tends to «grab» random hairs that aren’t in the part you’re trying to remove, sometimes leaving long time waxers with bald spots. No good! Threading will give you a crazy perfect line.
I get compliments on my brows all the time and I tell everyone the same thing: THREADING! It’s like all the Bollywood girls and their perfect brows– it’s all due to threading.
The folks at Patel’s are total dolls and work faster than you’d believe. I’m from Bakersfield, so I’m a regular at the Bakersfield location (WHICH HAS A NEW ADDRESS, DOWN THE STREET, BY HOME DEPOT!– 4125 Ming Ave.) I have also been to two of the Vegas locations and gotten just as great service.

My boyfriend just moved here for work and we went to check out the local mall. I was pleased to find this place, wasnt expecting it at all. They were very quick and my experience was painless. You just walk in take a number and wait for your number to be called. I am def going to come here again for my threading needs when visiting him. The prices where also the same as what I have seen in LA.
