History

Established in 1987.

Timothy Clark founded Kern Special Services (KSS) in the summer of 1987 to rehabilitate old apartment complexes for large property holders. The company officially expanded into the emergency services field in 1990. After five years of substantial growth, remediation and reconstruction services were added. In 2008, KSS saw an opportunity to complement their emergency services by adding their Contents Division. KSS became one of the first full service Restoration and Remediation companies in all of Kern County. Today, KSS continues its growth and stability by investing in both its employees and the latest industry technology.

Business Owner

Timothy Scott Clark is the owner, chief executive officer and general manager of Kern Special Services, a company devoted to restoring damaged property. Entrepreneurial spirited and extremely bright, Tim has built a company based upon the core values of championing the customers’ needs, leading by being the best, under promising and over delivering and by being innovative and creative in satisfying the customers’ needs.

Timothy is the father of two children and is passionate about spending quality time with them. They delight in being together and share common interests, including travel, snowboarding and Angeles baseball. On a recent family vacation they traveled and toured Italy.

Something that few people know about Timothy is that although he is not formally trained, he is a Master Chef, and has the ability to whip together fantastic meals, especially when using his outdoor BBQ. His homemade ice cream is exceptional and always a hit.
