I stop by here on the way to and back from Las Vegas. There is a older guy that works the front counter that is THEBEST!!! I do not know his name but he makes your dining experience fabulous, my receipt said«Sam»! Even the manager asks me if I need anything else and offered more napkins. For a fast food place that is a tourist trap, it is NOT that. They TRULY care about you!

The workers were very nice and the restroom was clean. One thing that was not-so-great was that they had only 2 flavors available for the iced coffee.(The original and mocha)

We came through here on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Baker is a dirty little pitstop on the road from Vegas to LA. I’m writing this review because the JITB people were so pleasant — not because the food was necessarily terrific. The place was packed with cranky, weary travelers but every employee I saw was smiling and pleasant. Gotta give JITB a lot of credit for that, especially in this location!

I was driving back to Vegas from Los Angeles and stopped here for lunch. I ordered the portobello mushroom buttery jack burger and it was delicious. The meat was moist and topped with tasty butter and garlic. The mushrooms smothered the burger and made for an excellent lunch. Jack in the Box fries are typically bland, so I just focus on the burger. This new line of buttery jacks are a great addition to an already great menu.

I don’t usually review fast food places. Not sure why. On a road trip with the pups with 100 degree temps. Since too hot to leave them in the car and few shady outdoor dining options, jack in the box was my lunch choice today. Did drive thru, fast friendly and efficient! I ordered the deli trio sandwich with extra pickles and it was so good! Grilled perfectly and not greasy at all(which has happened when I’ve ordered it at other locations). Keep up the great work!

This Jack in the Box is in Baker next to the Alien Fresh Jerkey shop. It’s connected to Shell gas station. We stopped here to grab lunch on our way home from Las Vegas. It’s your average fast food restaurant. Service wasn’t too slow. You have the option of ordering from a kiosk. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but wasn’t horrible.

Driving back to LA from Vegas late night. The manager on duty who happened to be working the drive thru was a very nice guy. You don’t see very many courteous people at night at the drive thru, but this guy was different. He clarified our order, asking question I’ve never been asked, didn’t even know they would, making sure that we had the best service and outcome of our order. Great experience, I only wish I would have remembered his name to give him a shout out!

With everyone hungry before we left Vegas, the plan was to roll for an hour and some change, and make a pit stop in Baker. Famished while rolling through the Mojave, we headed down Baker Boulevard. Where do we go? Baker has a lot to offer in the way of fast food delights. J in the B seemed a reasonable place to stop. Given that is was the start of a holiday weekend, Baker was chill. We drive right into the drive-thru with ease. The dude on the other end of the squawk box was super friendly and took our order with ease. All smiles at the window. The presentation of the meal was text book and would have made the enormous round headed man proud. The meal was tasty and satisfying as we headed back out on Baker Blvd and south on the 15.

Still wishing Utah would open one of these! Had their Jumbo Jack and croissant sandwich and was very satisfied and met our expectations! One of our favorite fast food spots to hit up when we’re out of town.

They have this cool computer thing you can order your food from, but it’s funny cuz it’s right next to the cashier… maybe you’re really only supposed to use it when they’re really crowded. Same as any olé Jack in the Crack; food was as expected and haven’t had any issues… been stopping here on trips to and from vegas for 10 years and we’ve been good.

We stopped here on our way to Vegas. I ordered pita sandwich. Nothing special or bad about this jack in box. This was just another franchise.

We stopped at the gas station for a bathroom break on the way to SoCal and decided we might as well have breakfast here. I’ve actually been here many times before, but this was the first time I dined in as well as the first time I’ve ever used their super cool Self Order machine. There was absolutely no line at all, but I wanted to use the machine to order our meals anyway. My sister got a croissant combo with orange juice and I got a breakfast burrito with coffee. They happened to have a promo going on for the self order machine, you get 5 churros for free with every meal you order, so we got ten churros!‘Our orders came out within a few minutes and everything tasted/looked as it should. No complaints!

My family and I are still recovering from the food poisoning we got after eating here one day ago. I see in another review that person mentions that the restaurant if dirty and I have to concur. I had never eaten at Jack in the Box before and never will again.

This is my stop du jour when I’m traveling to and from L.A. on the 15. If I’m going to make a stop for a quick snack or some gass, I always head here. It’s conveniently located on my early morning trips to grab some breakfast or a coffee for my drive. The parking lot is large and can accommodate quite a few people, including tourist buses and semis. They have a convenience store adjacent to the restaurant for bathroom breaks and snacks as well. Convenience is key when I’m on the go.

First off, it’s Jack in the Box. You know, the guys who dress up in a clown costume and freak people out in their offices as their commercials? You can’t expect anything too spectacular here. Regardless, I drove here on the way to Vegas during the summer. The big-ass thermometer said it was 105 or something like that, which the people here said was cool for this area. I digress. The restaurant was fairly dirty, as I can remember it. It wasn’t food on the floor or feces leaking out of the toilets — it was dust. It needed cleaned up. Seriously. However, the food was magnificent. I can’t pinpoint what I got off the top of my head — it was something spicy. I just remember leaving the restaurant pissed because they don’t have any Jack in the Boxes in Ohio. The chicken sandwich — now it’s coming back to me — was as good as Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and possibly even better. It was juicy and tasted fresh, and did the toppings. The people here were nice, but nothing to spoil yourself over. After all, it is fast food in a town that only exists because of the 15, Southern California, and Vegas. It is a nice restaurant, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Friendlier than your average Jack, in my opinion. Restrooms are a little busy since they are shared with the mini-mart/gas station, but they were clean and the staff were super nice. A worker was cleaning the restroom and she was standing on the other side of the door and while I was waiting in line I was warning incoming ladies that there was someone there… the worker was so appreciative and acted as if someone had never done that before!

After a tense 5 hours with my car tire and driving back to Vegas, I was very hungry. So, I drove to Baker’s Jack in the Box. You got your choice of Barstow or Baker and I wanted to try doing Baker more often. This Jack in the Box is inside a Gas Station. They have a drive thru, but most people would go inside to use the restroom. It was awfully crowded inside, but service was fast. I ordered 2 Jumbo Jacks($ 1.59 each) and a Medium Drink($ 1.79). My total is $ 5.40. Its just like any Jack in the Box, but just more busy because of the I-15. Oh man, I can’t stop thinking about my small incident on the freeway with my flat tire… UGH…I hope this never happens to anyone on a major freeway in the middle of nowhere. Have Fun here and Keep Unilocaling!

Basic fast food. This place works because you have been on the road for quite some time, no matter which direction you are headed. We all know what fast food is by now so what is particular about this Jack? Not much really; the service is friendly and quick; the inside is fairly clean and yes, the restrooms are small. It gets the job done.

Usually road stop fast food places have renovated bathrooms and extra stalls for the unexpected traffic, but this place does not. Honestly, who would randomly decide. «hey lets go to Death Valley and have a 99 cent taco at Jacks!» Yea, nobody would. So most of the people that are stopping here are there for the sole purpose of lightening up the load and maybe buy a combo meal on the way out. The food here is just like any jacks, but the restaurant is a bit on the smaller end. Knowing that most of the people Unilocaling are going to be coming back from Vegas, you probably don’t want to stop here if you need to go really bad. The line was out of the restaurant and into the attached liquor store. I would go across the street where the main food court is.
