Burger King

this place need to spend a little money on maintenance. the door is broken, the bathroom hand drier on button is about to fall on the floor, and the paper towel dispenser needs fixing (mens room only)
maybe its hard to find repair people in Baker, CA?

My husband, who has zero tolerance for fast food and food lines in general, actually came home from a trip to Las Vegas and blew me away with his positive statements about the Burger King in Baker and the young man at the register! After I picked myself up off the floor, he continued to express that he has never been in a fast food that the workers were so courteous, knowledgeable, and accurate! Thank you young man (employee) at the counter this AM at about 8:30AM that waited on my husband. I may now get to stop at a fast food establishment while he’s in the car! Hooray!!! Give this young man a raise!

Walked in and the whole place smelled like ass, I couldn’t handle it. Clean the bathrooms!!!

Lady at the counter= super upbeat and patriotic. The establishment= dirty, fly invested, and broken A/​C. Also they ran out of iced coffee… But they had normal coffee… and ice. Idiots.

Stopped by here on my way back to Los Angeles today from Viva Las Vegas for a cup of coffee because I was just really tired and still had at least another few hours of driving ahead of me.
I saw latte on the menu and thought I would order that to keep me awake. This is the reason why I gave this place 1 star:
Me: I would like to order a latte. (The photo of lattes in the flavors they come in, including vanilla, caramel, plain, on the menu was what got my attention to order this)
BK Employee: We don’t serve that.
Me: But it’s on your menu (pointed with my right hand on the menu board in the direction of the photo).
BK Employee: We don’t serve that.
Me: Just give me anything with coffee in it.
BK Employee: We have a small black coffee.
Me: Fine…
BK Employee: Total comes out to $ 1.08
Me: (Take 1 dollar out of pocket and fish for exact change from my coin purse and hand to BK Employee)
What really annoys me about this transaction is the false advertisement of selling lattes at Burger King… how lame is that? I am confused, why are there photos of the different flavors of lattes on their menu if they don’t serve them? Lame and major disappointment. Total fail Burger King.

The drive-​thru guy was nice — he wished up a safe trip back home. My onion rings were fresh out of the fryer and nice and hot.

Rarely do I even think about reviewing fast food restaurants, but in this case I had to.
On a very tired drive from Vegas to SoCal, I misordered my breakfast meal — I asked for the #4 which was $ 4.19 when I really wanted the Croissanwich, #3 ($ 4.54).
So when I got my #4, in my tired and slightly nasty voice, I told the lady there that I ordered a #3. I looked at my receipt, and it said #4; I looked at my friend, and was immediately told «NOOOO, you ordered a #4!»
They changed my order for me. And, after apologizing for being rude, I asked them how much I owed them, and I was told by the cashier and the manager not to worry about it.
Nice folks. Quick service. Clean eating area & restrooms.
What else could you want on a mid-​drive pit stop?
