History

Established in 1990.

Founded over two decades ago, AGS Stainless, Inc. manufactures the all stainless steel Clearview® line of railing systems. Our goal is creating custom high-​end railings that our customers, whether a DIY homeowner or a professional contractor, can be proud to install in their homes, offices and/​or businesses.

The birth of AGS happened when Gary’s experience in custom fabrication and finishing of stainless steel was combined with Angelo’s experience in the fabrication and designing of railings and stairs. This combination allowed AGS the opportunity to offer our Clearview® Railing System lines to the discerning customer that was not satisfied with the run of the mill railings that were generally available from other fabricators.

Our Clearview® Railing System Lines were designed and engineered with our customers in mind; An easy-​to-​install DIY application that yields professional results as well saves on time and installation fees.

The end product is very well made, they use thick quality metals and provided everything we needed including proper size bolts that their competitors do not. Very pleased with our rails, only problem is that the time frame from initial design to final design sign off took really long; if I recall it was a couple months before fabrication even begun. If you are willing to wait on unexpected delays then I highly recommend their product. Great rails!

I have never written a review on Unilocal before, but have also never been so frustrated with a company before. If I could give a review below one star I would. Project delayed many times due to missed deadlines and false promises about completion dates. When I expressed my frustration and dismay to owner of company he laughed and sniggered and told me I could cancel my order. My contractor wants to take out a contract on this company, and so do I!!! Beware!!! The product may be good, don’t know, because it has been months now and I haven’t seen it.

Great company to work with. We had several questions before we decided to go with a cable railing setup, and they we great at answering questions and providing very good customer service throughout the project. We choose one of their stainless cable railings for our patio, and are very happy with it. It looks great, is easy to maintain, and wasn’t difficult to install. We really appreciate that it doesn’t block our view of the pasture/​hills like most railings. I would happily recommend AGS stainless to anyone looking for an attractive/​quality railing setup.

The quality of the materials are very good– but AGS completely fouled up my construction schedule by delivering product over a month later than they originally stated. The only reason they were only a month late is that I had to be a squeaky wheel– which I hate doing. As a contractor, a month late is completely unacceptable. The product looks nice and the people were good, but honestly AGS cost me about two weeks of market time on an investment property which I can never get back. I was very upset with them for their tardiness with no means for recouping my losses.

Excellent company with great customer service. We are thrilled with our new stainless railings! Before ordering from AGS, we tried getting ballpark estimates on cable rail from several deck installers, and they all thought the railings would cost more than twice what we paid. I think cable rail is little known about in our area, and AGS is also reasonably priced. We will look for ways to work with then again.
