Called for an appointment and it was scheduled quickly. On the morning of the appointment, Ryan e-​mailed me that he was sick and could we reschedule. We rescheduled to the following Monday when he had an opening. I waited thru the window that he was to be here, but unfortunately he did not show up and did not communicate in any way. I would give 0 stars for the time off I took from work, but that is not possible

We were very happy with these guys. Very professional. Very friendly The cost was exactly what they said. They did not try to sell me a new gutter. They came out cleaned and did some repair work. The gutter on one side of my house is about 30 feet in the air and very hard to get to due to the very large laurel bush. They did great! I am a Realtor in Seattle and I have no problem recommending them.

Flakey and Unreliable
I called this place three times in the course of a week and they never called back. If that’s any indication of the service I can expect, then it’s just as well.
Avoid.

Skip this guy… I would have, had I known what I was in for.
1. No-​showed for first estimate appointment. When I called, he said that he didn’t realize we’d set a definite time. Uh, that’s what an appointment is. Set up another one for a week later.
2. No warranty offered for repair work. When he did come out, he gave me a quote for cleaning and repair; $ 199 for full gutter cleaning and $ 50 per repair (for our 6 leaking corners). Also gave me the up-​sell for a new gutter installation. No thanks, just the cleaning a repair, please. He said he’d email me a quote. Later that week, he sent an email saying that he’d lost my address and phone number and that they could get me on the calendar the next week. I wrote him back and asked if he was going to email me a quote. He sent it later that day; cleaning, repair and complete reinstall. However, it mentioned nothing about a warranty for repair, nor the verbal promise that «if it leaks again, we’ll come back out to fix it.» I wrote back to give him our address and phone number and ask for the warranty info in an email. A week went by with no reply so I wrote again asking if they could get us on the calendar the next week. He wrote back saying yes, and that they don’t offer a warranty for repair. I let him know that we wouldn’t be able to hire them. He replied with a phone call (determined not to put anything in writing, I guess) stating that they don’t offer a warranty on repairs, but again, if they leak later… etc. I phoned him back and thanked him for the verbal promise to make things right and said all I needed was that very thing in an email, and we’d be in business. I finally heard back from him by email again 2-​and-​a-​half weeks later. No kidding, this is what he wrote back:

From the time & date that the gutter cleaning and the repairs are finished. We will come back out for six months after that on the gutter repairs only. To fix any repairs that fail that are directly related to the job we did. We will inspect repairs to make sure they are not coming from somewhere else or are new situations causing the problem at our discretion only. If it is our repair or repairs that is failing we will fix for free up to the six months after the date and time the job was completed.
Normally we do not give warranties for gutter cleaning or repairs only installations. Our installation warranties are typically paid for and signed by both parties. Hopefully this works for you if it does not this will be my last attempt to satisfy your expectations. Normally if there is a repair issue meaning the repair we made fails we always come back out and take care of that with in a reasonable amount of time at our discretion. But there is no written warranty that we give for that.

I wrote back thanking him for the information and asked when we could get on his calendar. He called me back to set up a time, at which point he wanted my credit card information. He said that’s how they book work in their calendar. How ’bout you book it by my name and address, which I’ve give you twice now. I told him I would call him back if we were going to book the work. He emailed me later that day with this:

Meh. Save your money.
I really have nothing against this company, and for all I know they’re the best gutter cleaners out there. I don’t really have much to compare them to. However, I found the service overpriced (I paid $ 272 for a 2-​story 2300sf house) and really no better than I could do myself. The gutters were definitely «cleared out» of debris and leaves, but it pretty much looked like someone just put on some gloves and quickly pulled out all the big stuff. There were still plenty of small leaves and pine needles and dirt in the gutters, and in no way would I consider them «clean». This company definitely rushed through the job and did nothing «above and beyond» worthy of praise. Honestly, you’d be better off hiring a neighborhood teen for $ 50 bucks and calling it good.
I also remember a year or two ago I had my roof pressure washed (I forget which company did this), and they threw in the gutter cleaning for free. The roof looked absolutely brand new and the gutters were spotless; as if they polished every inch with a rag or something. This cost around $ 400 bucks total, which is not much more than I paid these guys for *just* a gutter «unblocking».
Next time, I’ll just grab a ladder and some gloves and spend half an hour doing this myself.

Seattle Gutter Cleaning does terrific work. They might not be the cheapest (though I’m guessing they’re competitive in pricing), but they’re very conscientious about doing the job well, they show up on time, they do amazing cleanup work when they finish, and they’re polite and helpful in explaining how your gutter system is performing. I’ve also had great customer service when scheduling someone to come out.
My sense is that Seattle Gutter really wants to establish a positive relationship and build long-​time customers. I, for one, am happy to oblige them.

Not pleased. I scheduled appointment two weeks ago. While I was at work, they left a message on home voice mail only 3 hours before scheduled appointment, saying they couldn’t come for scheduled appointment. This was after I rearranged my work schedule to be home for the appointment. No good!

I needed a company to fix my leaking gutters and clean my roof. These guys did a great job. When the next rain came and one corner was still leaking they came back no problem and fixed the problem. I commend them for their service and follow up when they could have just ignored me as they had already been paid. I think this says a lot about their integrity.

Found Seattle Gutter Cleaning on Unilocal and called to get an estimate. Got an estimate over the phone and set up an appointment for two weeks. They arrived right on time prepared to go to work. They got right to work, and were happy to answer any questions. I had one downspout that was overflowing so they took it apart, cleaned it, adjusted it and put it back.
I’m very happy with them.

I’m posting this in hopes of finding Brian. He came and did the windows (fantastically) at our condo and the other two in our building. All three homeowners were pleased. However, when I sent the check, it was returned. I called, the voice mail was full. I emailed, no reply. I asked others who knew him, they don’t know where he went either. If anyone knows where he went, please post something here. We all hope he’s okay!

This really isn’t a review, but I live in the Madison Valley area and left multiple messages and email for Debris Free Seattle and never got a response. So I certainly don’t think much of the service.

Brian did an amazing job cleaning my gutters. He showed up right on time and ready to work with a big ol’ ladder (which is good because I certainly don’t have one). He worked quickly and thoroughly and before I knew it i was debris free!
I’d recommend Brian’s work hands down, he’s awesome!

I work at home. What a pleasure it is to look out windows that are THIS clean. And Brian is such a pro, it’s effortless having him around.
If you’re considering to have him work at your home, JUST DO IT, give him a call. Once you’ve experienced his approach to excellence you’ll see what I mean.

I was looking for someone to powerwash my house, fence, and driveway. Brian came out to give me an estimate the day after I called him. He was very prompt and nice. On the day scheduled for the work, he showed up exactly the time he said he was and worked hard all day doing the job. He had to come back the next day with a friend to finish the job, but stuck with the estimate even though the job was more labor intensive and time consuming than he anticipated. He did an incredible job. I could not believe how clean he was able to get my house and fence especially. He cleaned up after the job. Overall, I could not be more happy with the job he did and would recommend him to anyone who wants to get their house cleaned.

The roof is so clean and moss free, all this without using a pressure washer!

Wonderful job cleaning our gutters and windows on a tall 2 story house. Also added a layer of moss cleaner to our roof (buildup was minor). Brian was prompt and courteous through the whole process. Pricing was fair and he even helped install some screens on our patio to prevent clogs during downpours. If you have a drainage or gutter problem he may be able to find you a fix. 100% class act. When I opened my business I didn’t really think about the little things, you know, small stuff. Like what my shop looked like on the outside… or if you could even see out the windows… With all the thoughts of new appliances and groceries and plumbing inspections, it didn’t even cross my mind. Then Brian came in.
In the kindest way possible, he pointed out that my shop might benefit from a bit of polishing. He cleaned my windows crystal clear. Four months later and they still look pretty fantastic. Thanks brian!
