We want your fur kids to be part of our growing family! We offer family friendly dog training as well as basic cat behavior assistance. Training is offered in group classes, in your home or our own and we offer package deals as well as board and train.

We offer pet sitting at per visit and overnight rates. We also provide dog walking and basic grooming services. Essentially, if you have a pet related need, we can probably help, just ask.

History

Established in 2013.

We believe in compassionate care and education for companion animals and their guardians. With extensive background in a boarding and canine daycare environment, we know that those services aren’t ideally suited to all of our furry friends. We are also well aware that more dogs up the age of 3 die in shelters as a result of surrender because of behavior problems than all injuries and illnesses combined. This fact is what led our founder to obtain certification in dog training, and later, to start Companucation LLC in order to help dogs, cats, and their people. We offer in home training, day training, board and train and group classes that address a variety of issues as well as dog walking, pet sitting and boarding at competitive rates.

Business Owner

Robin is an Animal Behavior College certified mentor trainer with a passion for animals stretching back 4 decades. Having had over a dozen species of animal in her care, spanning 3 decades, a career in pet care and education was a natural fit. After several years working in a boarding environment, caring for companion animals and training staff to do so, as well as training dogs and their guardians, Robin chose to found her own company in order to better serve her clientele. A typical boarding environment isn’t always an ideal fit for every animal, so she decided to offer boarding in her own home environment and pet sitting in the client home. Group classes are ideal for many dogs, though some issues need to be addressed one on one, in the client’s home. Other individuals don’t have the time to devote to training their own dogs so dog walking and day training are offered. Board and train is also a fantastic option for many dogs and their people.
